We had some issues with the delivery and the instructions after the measuring guy came out. The holes were not cut square for the sink, and the cutouts for the cooktop and holes for the faucets were either not in the middle of the bar sink, or too far back towards the backsplash they were going to install. However, when they delivered the island stone, and the kitchen backsplash, they did fix the cooktop cutout and the faucet holes (good thing my faucets have a flared base to cover). Overall, I'm happy with the results. There were just some moments of high stress. The pricing is straightforward and very reasonable! read more

Five Stars Granite absolutely rocks literally and figuratively. From start to finish the entire experience was smoother than a polished slab of granite. The sales team was knowledgeable helpful and never took me for granite. They made the whole process easy stress free and actually enjoyable. I had my countertops completely redone and also added new granite around my fireplace and it is gorgeous. Everything ties together beautifully and has totally transformed my space. Their prices absolutely blow away the big box retailers and their customer service blows away everyone else in the industry. There is simply no comparison. You get incredible quality without the inflated prices and you are treated like a valued customer every step of the way. The measurement team was precise professional and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. Everything was rock solid and I felt confident from the moment they came out that the job was going to be done right. And the install team completely crushed it (not the granite). They were efficient clean and incredibly skilled. The finished product is flawless and looks even better than I imagined. I am so freaking happy with how everything turned out. 5 Stars Granite is the bedrock of great service and quality workmanship. They have definitely set the stone for what a great experience should be and I would recommend them without hesitation. read more

My wife and I purchased granite counters for the kitchen and quartz counter tops for both of our Bathrooms. The initial bid that Drew gave us was within a few dollars of the actual final price. The 2 men that installed our counter tops were professional and very respectful of our home. The installation looks excellent. My wife and I are very happy with the entire experience. I highly recommend 5 Star Granite! read more

Horrible experience with Five Stars Granite. They installed a countertop at our home and the installation process was a nightmare. They came out and made a template for the countertop and set up an installation date. They came out on a Friday afternoon and proceeded to install the countertop. Problem was that it did not fit.So instead of halting the install they proceeded to try and force this countertop into place. Tearing up my drywall pretty extensively. Not small nicks and scratches but huge deep gouges. This damage goes all the way up 21 inches from the countertop while they tried to force it in at an angle. They then removed this countertop and took it outside and used grinders on it to remove the excess material. Then they reinstalled it tearing up more of my drywall. This damage is going to require a significant amount of repair work. Including mudding, sanding, taping, priming and painting. The lead installer then told my wife "sorry about your walls they usually give me more space but this time they did not". When I got home I was shocked at the amount of damage to my walls. I went to their office the next morning (Saturday). I was told someone would get back to me Monday. I was not contacted by them for a week and only after multiple emails and phone calls from me. They said that they would not be doing anything for us because we didn't contact them within 24 hours. We did. They are hard to get ahold of once they have been paid. I left a review on another site and they finally replied to it with lies and deception. They replied that somehow we added drywall after the template date. That's ridiculous, would anyone in their right mind hang thousands of dollars of cabinets and then try to drywall? The walls are the same as when the house was built in 2002. I am the original owner. They then claim to have photos of this I would love to see these non existent photos. They then proceeded to deceive everyone by stating falsely that the owner came out to my house and dealt with me personally. No representative least of all the owner has ever been to my house besides the installers and the template person. Reading other reviews about this company would expose a common pattern of dealing with anyone who has problems with them. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for granite or stone even if it costs more. read more

Wonderful experience. We used Five Stars Granite for a kitchen with a bar. Plus a bathroom. Do not bother going to Absolute Granite in St Louis. That is where I started on my quest to find a fabricator. I was about to sign with them, then decided to get a second quote from Five Stars Granite in St Peter's. Their price for the same slab was so much better there was no question I was going to go with Five Stars. I have a complicated layout and everything went well. Highly recommend them. read more

Alyssa along with 5 Stars Granite did an amazing job. She took great care of me along with the rest of the staff. They were all patient with me while selecting my countertop. Prices stayed the same from day one, the free 33" deep sink is great and is low on sound when water hits it and made my disposal even more quiet. Very happy, the installation team was also great and cleaned up very well after themselves. Will go with you all again in the future for a center island once I build it! Again, thank you very much! My girlfriend is doing her kitchen as well and going with 5 Stars! She is also very happy so far! read more

Update: the owner called and threatened lawsuits if we don't take down our negative reviews. If I could give them them zero star, I would. Their sales - Alyssa is an absolute liar and will lie to your face to get your business and deny it later. We are remodeling our kitchen and has been shopping around for quarts countertop, we decided to go with five star granite because it has the best price. The price includes a free sink, but none of their sinks are to our likings. So we asked Alyssa if we could get discount for using our own sink. She said no, the sink is included in the price, but no discount will be given if we used our own sink. Fair enough. Since we have rental properties, we could use the free sink for one of our rental properties. So we asked her if we could use our own sink, but still get one of the sinks they provide for free. She said yes, we just have to have our sink at their location for the cut out. A few weeks later, we went back to decide on the granite and confirmed with her again that we could have the sink they provide for free. Same answer was given. We went ahead and bought a $500 sink and took off work early and drove 40min so we could drop it off before they close at 5. A different sales person helped us, we paid deposit and then was trying to pick out the sink we could have for free. Then we were told that we can't have the sink if we don't use it for the granite installation. We went back and forth for a few minutes as my husband and I were trying to tell her that that's not what we were told by Alyssa. She was in the room and heard the entire conversation, she finally slowly turned around and told us " I didn't say that" with a side eye and insisted that she know their policy and never said we could have a free sink.. I was shocked that she just straight up lied to us and her coworkers. If she told us something she didn't mean to, or didn't know that's their policy, that fine. She was very confident when we asked her 2 times previously. And now she just lied to our faces and trying to bully us into accepting her lie? The sink isn't a deal breaker. The attitude and the way they do business is. There are other things that are not explicitly written in the contract. What else is she lying to us about? I'm glad that we found out now and was able to get our deposit we just paid back. I would not give my money to a business that use this kind of unethical sales tactic. read more

NO STARS for five star granite! BEWARE!! The installers are incompetent and deceitful! The owner hung up on me, and then had his employee lie to me! The installers damaged my new floor, hacked into my new cabinets, didn't secure the countertop, nor caulk around the sink. After I complained, they slandered me, and threatened me! STAY AWAY! read more

5 stars for Five Stars Granite! Great value and expert craftsmanship from this company. From the initial visit to the showroom, to the expert measurement, to the install, we experienced nothing but professionalism. I cannot believe the beautiful product we received for the price. The name speaks for itself. Customer service is exceptional from help choosing the slabs (great selection) to providing guidance on installation. We purchased and transported a large countertop 300+ miles and they took extra care to ensure we had what was needed for safe delivery. They had the countertop ready quicker than any other place we looked and were able to beat local competitors price. I would not hesitate using them again for any granite needs. read more

This is what they did during the install . I regret hiring this company . Biggest costumer fail , I made numerous calls and even sent text to the owner just asking to fix the connecting line . I realized the mistake is made and didn't want it replaced , just fixed . Even that they refused to do . read more

Awesome people and great customer service. Also, their installers were professional and courteous. I highly recommend 5 Star Granite!

They did a great job. Our counters were installed only 12 days after they came out to our house to measure. It looks beautiful! They only required 50% down to order it. read more

I have been remodeling my entire house over the last few years. I finally got to the kitchen last and decided to go with Five Star Granite for my counter tops. Overall I am very happy and would recommend them if you are looking for granite countertops. Thanks Five Star Granite. read more

Their name says it all when it comes to their service and quality of work. From their assistance in choosing our slabs, to measuring for their templates, to the install itself, it was truly a pleasure to work with them. Even the owner himself came to be a part of our install job. They were careful, they took their time, they were meticulous, they were also courteous, but really fun to be around, as well. When the install was finished, they did an amazing job cleaning up and gave us great pointers to protect our new space and investment. Even their prices were the most reasonable we had come across after much research. Should we ever need granite again, I would not hesitate in using them and have already recommended their services. read more

All I can say is "Buyer Beware". It seemed like the classic bait & switch to me. I visited their showroom on 5/30 and a gentleman (later to find out he was owner). I showed him my drawing with measurements. We then walked through his shop/yard and found a slab we liked. He quoted me an all in price(sink, measurement, labor, taxes, etc). ALL INCLUSIVE price that was less than $45/sq.ft. AND could be installed within 30 days. I wanted to sign but was told to come back Tuesday 6/1 as it was Memorial Day Weekend. I went back on 6/1 and was wanting to sign. After reviewing my measurements and slab I was told I needed to go to their supplier and find a slab. My wife and I went to suppler and looked at a slab of the exact same name/grade/finish and had the supplier sent info to 5 Star. Suddenly The price went from less than $45/sq.ft. to over $70/sq.ft. AND could be installed 6-8 weeks. I realize the piece I originally looked at was a bargain because it was left over from a slab used for another job, BUT you would think the owner could: A) Figure square footage B) Tell the truth about installation dates. Needless to say after my experience with this place I am taking my business elsewhere. read more

Love Love my new counter tops the service was above and beyond!! I am glad I went with 5 star Granite ! they worked with my budget and were great from the beginning to the end! The owner even stepped in cause he knew I was having family come in and he made sure the job got done. He personally came out and measured the counter tops and had his crew come out a day before than what was scheduled. Yes, I would recommended their services to all my family and friends ! read more

We got our quartz countertops from here and love them! Great quality and they look amazing!

I used 5 stars granite based on a reference from my neighbor who also used them. I liked their selection of granite and I thought they did a good job helping me pick the granite that would go the best with my new cabinets. The price was inline with other granite fabricators and they were able to accommodate my schedule. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they actually broke a water valve when removing my old granite but they didn't tell me that it happened. I discovered it and had to have a plumber come out to repair the valve before we could have the new sink and new granite installed. I let the owner know about the valve and he apologized that I wasn't notified and he made it right. I think they did a great job installing the granite and I'm very happy! read more

I wish I had read the reviews before using this company. The owner does not stand by his product. We had quartz counter tops installed and the product itself was cloudy and kind of blotchy. When the owner came out, he said this is what you picked out and it is what it is. Exact words. read more

We used Five Star Granite to install a large kitchen countertop, two bathroom countertops and a back bar countertop. We chose some very high level granite. They took great care with the handling of this granite and its installation. We were treated very professionally and we are very pleased with installation. We have recommended Five Star to two other friends and they too were very pleased with their service and installation. We would highly recommend Five Star again! ! read more

BUYER BEWARE of 5 Stars Granite. They delivered a small granite table to my house and their drivers damaged my landscaping when leaving. Multiple employees stated when I called them that the owner will contact me but he (Samir) never did. I read this same tactic in other negative reviews as well. I did a BBB Complaint and the Office Manager lied multiple times in her responses. If you have an issue with this company, you own it. 5 Stars Granite lies, denies, delays, etc. BUYER BEWARE. read more

We had our granite installed by 5 star, and while we were pleased with the granite itself, the install was less than perfect. A couple cabinets were knocked out of place, the floor was damaged from a leak caused by the crew, and 5 star's management refused to take any responsibility including their inability to offer one word of apology or compassion for our situation. Steer clear of this company. read more
