We just used Decorative Concrete Resurfacing to stain our basement floor and finish our garage floor. Both turned out amazing. The company worked with our schedule during our renovation. The basement was completed first, and the crew worked so carefully to protect our walls, trim and fixtures. It was absolutely amazing. We also have a woodworking shop where they applied a non slip texture to the finish. Although that finish looks identical to the other areas, the non slip application is perfect for our shop area. The garage was finished last week. It is honestly more than we imagined! Most of all, we were so impressed with the crew. These men are craftsmen, keep you informed of what they are doing, and actually do what they set as a schedule. They protect the walls and fixtures like it's their own. Overall my pool project turned out nice but their attention to details is terrible. They over sprayed all of the rocks around the concrete and then try to mix them around to hide their mistake. They did come back and try to fix it but they never fixed the issue completely. They had to be called multiple times to get them to come back and clean up spray on my pool and other various issues. In the end I would not choose them again or recommend them for the hefty price. Imagine hiring a painter to paint your house and they get paint on the carpet and break a lamp. They try to clean up the mess by covering it up with another carpet. This is essentially what happened to me. Along the edge of most of the spray it is already chipping as well after only a couple of days. read more

We wanted our pool concrete covered since we had a chip from the first concrete company. Decorative patched the concrete chip, and the next year the portion broke off. Decorative came out and after I suggested a better repair to the chip before trying to bond over it, the worker said it was not necessary. Second year broke off again, and decorative emailed me their warranty which they say does not cover this, and they only as a courtesy fixed it the after the first year. So read all the exclusions in their contract. Basically they can always say its your concrete underneath that is the cause of the problem. Be sure to get everything in writing, to each detail they are to do, and if they make a patch get in writing they are going to be responsible for the patch. read more

Contacted Decorative Concrete Resurfacing to repair a crack in our front walk. The representative arrived at our place on 4/25/18, gave us the estimate on the amount of the repair, we agreed signed the papers and gave them a 50% down payment by credit card. The rep told us that they would have the job completed by 6/1/18 and someone would call us a day or 2 before coming. June 1st came and went without any call or repair. I contacted the company on the morning of June 4th which was the Monday after since they are not in the office on weekends. I was told that the person doing the scheduling was not available and would call me later that afternoon when returning to the office. No one called, so I contacted their office again on Tuesday June 5th. This time I was fortunate enough to speak to the 'Scheduler'. I told the 'Scheduler' that I was calling to see when my repair was to be completed. The 'Scheduler' told me I must have slipped through the crack and my repair was not scheduled. I asked when It would be completed and was told "This week but if it rains the next week for sure unless it rains then too." The job was finally completed on Friday June 15th at 5:30 PM. On Monday June 18th I received a bill from Decorative Concrete Resurfacing stating my remaining 50% payment was 31-60 days past due. I called and asked how I could be 31-60 days past due when the job was ONLY completed 3 days prior. The person handling their accounts said that the work should have been completed by May 2nd and that's when my remaining amount owed was entered into Quicken. I stated to them that I did not appreciate receiving past due notices for anything and was not happy about it. The person replied "That's just the way it is when it's entered into Quicken." Needless to say I will never use Decorative Concrete Resurfacing for anything ever again. The company may have been good in the past but, not now. They had my deposit for 7 weeks prior to doing the job and than had the audacity to send me a past due bill. I'm really not sure the repair will last the Summer by the incompetence they have already shown in my dealings with them. Buyer BEWARE in using them. read more
