    Vegetable and noodle plate

Pro-tip: Parking can be a bit difficult because it's a narrow and long lot, so you'll likely have to walk a little bit. Basically all of the seating is high top booths so it's not the most accessible or high chair friendly. Highlights: It's definitely a fun concept of Vietnamese barbecue where it feels lighter and includes more vegetables than Korean barbecue. We ordered the signature combo so it was fun to try a little bit of all the proteins. Lowlights: The side of vegetables and noodles that come with the combo plates is a bit small and you have to pay seven dollars for an extra set. It doesn't seem like that à la carte protein options come with the veggie and noodle platter. For the price that you pay, it doesn't seem like a good deal. I also found it bothersome that they only had elevated high top booths because my party was on the shorter side, so it was uncomfortable sitting with our feet dangling the entire time and the upright backs of the booths aren't comfortable either.

Food: 4/5 (except the fried rice - that one's a 0/5) Service: 5/5 Pricing: 1/5 Ambiance: 3/5 DZO BBQ is definitely a more unique experience. I appreciated the efforts at crafting Vietnamese dishes and putting a little spin on them. However, these prices would make any Vietnamese person faint - so fortunate I didn't come here with my parents. I came here with as a group of four and ended up ordering the Meat Lover's combo along with multiple side dishes, including the Crispy Saigon Wings, Garlic Cream Cheese Bread and Lemongrass Beef in Short Rib. With exception of the fried rice, which was extremely bland and quite literally the worst I've ever had, most foods were average or above average. Definitely enjoyed anything with lemongrass in it. Our bill came out to approximately $250 after tip and tax!! While the meal itself was above average, the price is NOT justified. The restaurant itself seemed clean, but the table we were seated at was pretty small. It was an uncomfortable eating experience due to limited table sizing and having to constantly maneuver our dishes/plates to make room. On the other hand, our waiter seemed to genuinely enjoy his job and made our experience a positive one. Can't remember the guy's name but he only spoke positive things for management and did state that they were looking to revise pricing for a more affordable experience. Lastly, there was a car parked on the fire lane the entire time we were there. Pretty sure it was someone employed there. Not a big stickler for this kind of thing, but seemed scummy to me.

6.19.26 - my family and I decided to try this place for an early Father's Day dinner tonight. We arrived a little after 5pm and were seated right away. The place filled up pretty quick not long after that! It's cute inside. Nicely decorated, bright and clean with elevated booths and gold dinnerware. There's a little bar area off to the side. Order: -Sugar cane w/ kumquat $9 -Pho Spiced Margarita $14 -Odell IPA $6 -Krush Ice $8 -DZO Signature Combo $139 -Crispy Saigon Wings $14 -Garlic Cream Cheese Bread $13 -Vietnamese BBQ Combo $90 I didn't realize the pho flavor was infused in the tequila until I re-read the menu just now. I subbed it for rum since I don't drink tequila. Although it was missing the pho flavor, it was still a refreshing drink! Would probably try Lemongrass Mo-hi-to or The Copper State next time. Garlic cream cheese bread was a bit over toasted but still tasted good. My family said the wings were good. They were a decent size too. Both combos ordered had a mix of beef, pork and seafood. I really liked the boneless short rib but not the bone-in short rib. I don't eat pork but my family liked it. One combo wasn't enough but two combos was too much. I personally would have preferred the Meat Lovers Combo (all beef) instead of the other two but my mom doesn't eat beef. Veggie platter was fresh. The green apple was interesting but tasted good with it. Garlic fried rice was good. Loved the creamy dipping sauce! I'll have to figure out the recipe for it. Combo pricing has increased quite a bit within 1 week. Comparison of pricing from a menu last Friday 6/12 and today 6/19. Viet Combo was $79 now $90 Meat Lovers was $90 now $119 DZO Signature was $105 now $139 Royal Combo $135 is no longer on the menu. Dylan was great! Very friendly and attentive. Came by to check on us often. Someone else also came by to check on us often to make sure everything was good. I think he may have been the manager or owner? They're so nice. They even gave us a bit of extra meat on the house.

Tried out Dzo Bbq and was highly impressed by the vibe as it was nicely decorated and the gold utensils really add to the element. I tried the Vietnamese bbq platter which was delicious but a little pricey. You cook the meat yourself and it is plenty to feed two people or have a meal for later! Our server was nice to assist us with a demonstration on how to prepare the spring rolls the "right" way! The quality of food was good so I will be back! Xo -BB

Hubs and I arrived for their grand opening on 6/12 at around 4ish and we were seated right away. The decor is inviting and cultural. We ordered the royal combo which was supposed to have 4 cuts of meat but we received only 3. I have since reached out to the restaurant and they said they would refund us for the missing part. I really appreciate their customer service overall. Now onto the food! We ordered the royal combo which included a bowl of fried rice, a starter soup, a veggie/noodle platter, and a small bowl with seafood mixed in butter. The quality of the meats were great but I agree that the pricing is quite high for the amount you get. Amongst the sauces given, it was pepper/salt mix, an Asian bbq sauce, and a spicy orange sauce. I agree with another yelper that the sauces should include a nuoc cham. The starter soup was tasty and the seafood was good. The drinks were good. This is a fun place to bring company. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

As it is a grand opening, I think the team will continue to work out some of the opportunities, as I have high hopes for this place. A spin on a classic concept, DZO BBQ brings the flavors of Vietnamese cuisine to the fun of KBBQ style dining. The prices are a bit higher than what you would expect based on portions sizes and quality of the meat. Service: (5/5): The staff are very committed and work together to ensure the dining experience is superb. Although it was busy, the staff did a good job checking in to make sure I had everything. Food (3/5): I got the Vietnamese bbq combo. The lemon grass chick was quite flavorful but the remainder of the options weren't as well seasoned/marinated. Would highly recommend that the owners bring in some traditional dipping sauces (peanut sauce and fish sauce ( nuoc mam). Price (2/5): The prices are quite high based on what you get. While I had left overs, a combo is will only serve two people. Atmosphere (4/5): The restaurant was very nicely laid out. The booths are a bit high and gets to be a bit uncomfortable after a while. Parking (2/5): There are a good number of establishments in this retail center, alongside the water park. The parking gets full and is a bit difficult to find a parking spot. I have high hopes for this place. The team is committed. With a few tweaks, this place can really become something special.

*Reviewed during soft opening* I've been waiting for this place to open for over a year now and finally happy to dine here. This is a Vietnamese BBQ spot and unique to WZ since it's majority KBBQ spots here. As the name implies, it's an open grill where you order a-la-carte or combo sets. This is not AYCE. The food was great. I ordered the Vietnamese BBQ Combo for $85. The lemongrass short rib were flavorful, a bit chewy on some bites but overall good. In the combo is the veggies and rice paper included. The sauces are lime and pepper and nuoc cham. Garlic rice is included and $2 add on with shrimp. I had great service in here with Ben. He is awesome and attentive! Shoutout to him fr. Overall the place is really nice, and they had 90s RnB playing so that's always a plus. Overall I think for the portion of food was a bit too pricey for what you get. Since this is their soft opening menu it could be different in the upcoming months.

Wow what a wonderful first experience! We recommend arriving early because the wait can be a bit long (we waited 1 1/2 hours which went by so quickly thanks to some good waiting seats at the bar with great cocktails and bar service), but the wait is definitely worth it! Service was great while we waited as the manager would check on us every so often with a wait update which our party greatly appreciated. Once we were sat, it was a flurry of quick efficient service, getting our orders taken, to food being served! They answered all questions we had about the menu and recommended some great choices. The cocktails were taste bud popping from the way each layer of the drink melted into the other. The melon ball had a nice sweet and crisp taste without being too much and the mojito was so refreshing. The fried rice was tasty and flavorful, and the bread was soft and warm! Meats grilled very well and the flavor of the lemongrass seasoning was amazing, (just beware as once some of the juice of your protein hits the grill, fire will spike a bit). The herb platter as well that comes with the combo added such a nice flavor to the spring rolls you can roll. The mint tops off the flavor of every thin well! We ate till we were filled and loved everything we got! The place itself is also so pretty! I love the green contrast the plants give to the restaurant and I think it feels very warm and welcoming! It's a great place to try if you like bbq and want it with a good Vietnamese spin!

Little rocky on the opening, but we showed up on day two. Had to wait a while after our reservation, but in the end it was worth it because David (the manager) really made it up to us. Not only that, but the food is outstanding!! The meat is tender and flavorful and their sauces are to die for. The best meal I've had in a long time! What a fun experience. I can't wait to go back. Actually I've already told friends and now they want to go this Friday! My mouth is watering already.

Excited to have a new concept in town! I've been twice in the past 2 weeks, and it's soo good. First time we had a group of 7, ordered 2 combos and a few a la carte items. Second time we had a group of 4 and decided to only order a la carte and left full and happy both visits. The food is high quality and well priced. My favorite dish is the Coastal Butter Seafood with the chopped prawns and scallops, it made for perfect seafood spring rolls. The yellow dipping sauce is addicting with a perfect kick of spice, mildly sweet and tart - it was definitely a crowd favorite both visits. Wings were crispy with tender and juicy meat. I don't typically order fried rice out because I like the way I make it at home lol, but their fried rice is delicious. The rice grain wasn't soggy like most restaurants and it had good flavor without being too oily. The sugarcane drinks are the best I've had in the valley. Can't wait to go back! Special thanks to David for always checking in and giving us a great experience!

Dzo Vietnamese BBQ just opened up and honestly we were there so fast. Order the pho margarita. I know, I know, it sounds absolutely unhinged. I was skeptical too. But oh my god, just order it and trust the process because it is SO good. Do yourself a favor though and skip the Thai soju, we got it and it straight up tasted like Robitussin. Hard pass. We did two combos and both came out with this gorgeous tray of herbs and veggies on the side. The sliced green apple was such a nice little surprise since it adds the best crunch and freshness to balance everything out. And listen, if you are not getting the buttered beef, you are doing it wrong. We'll 100% be back!

We had the chance to visit DZO Vietnamese BBQ during their soft opening, and it was such a wonderful experience. I had never tried Vietnamese BBQ before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the food and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. As with any soft opening, there were a few small hiccups along the way, but every situation was handled with genuine care, professionalism, and a smile. You could really feel how much the team wants guests to have a great experience. The highlight for me was the garlic fried rice!!! I absolutely fell in love with it. It was flavorful, comforting, and something I'll definitely be coming back for. I'm excited to see DZO continue to grow, and I can't wait for my next visit!

The grilled meat here is incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. The prices are very reasonable, and the side dishes pair perfectly with the meal. The flavors are especially well suited to Vietnamese tastes. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!

I don't think I've been so obsessed with a food item until now. Just thinking about it now has mouth is watering. The first time I visited was on July 4th, we got there right at opening and the line of service they have going was a well oiled machine. Their setup is a walk in, get in line and order almost similar to Subway, but better tasting. I got a side of Mac and cheese and cornbread (not pictured, I ate it too fast). It's self seating and they had a ton of options! The second time I visited I ordered at the to go window and got the baked potato again. The window service was fast and the wait wasn't long. They packaged up my food safely and I happily went on my way. I'm honestly looking forward to my next baked potato encounter at this location! Please give them a try, it's so stupidly good here. I can't wait to give their root beer float a try.

I've always enjoyed Joe's, but I was disappointed by how rigid they were with their $15 birthday…read morecredit. I visited on the day before my birthday because my actual birthday falls on a Sunday, and my religious practice observes the Sabbath. Since I'm unable to go out tomorrow, I hoped they might make an exception and honor the credit one day early. Unfortunately, I was told it could only be used on my exact birthday. I even suggested they make a note on my account that I had already redeemed it, but that wasn't an option. I understand that policies exist for a reason, but a little flexibility would have gone a long way--especially given the circumstances. It's disappointing that having a Sunday birthday means I miss out on a benefit that was one reason we chose to come to Joe's.

Reminds me of an elevated L&L. I pretty much only want to get Chicken Katsu because I can never…read morereplicate it from a restaurant. When I tried this place, we got a mini katsu and a plate. We were able to replace the sides with more rice at no extra charge for the plate which was really nice. Honestly, it was way too much rice, so next time I'd just omit the sides altogether if I was to reorder this. The mini katsu was more than enough as well. Each piece was perfectly crispy. I loved the steamed veggies. They were unseasoned and balanced out the katsu very well. Worth the price (which was very accurate to the meal and the quality).

I'm giving this place a 4.2/5. It's pretty good for a Hawaiian BBQ spot…read more I got the Teriyaki chicken regular plate with all rice. The chicken was really good and cooked pretty much perfectly. It doesn't have that "char" to it that Hawaiian's cook it like (if you know, you know), but it was cooked almost perfectly imo. The rice wasn't a true Hawaiian sticky rice, but close enough. It almost had more of an Asian texture to it. But it was still good. There was a lot of food, of which I'd expect from a Hawaiian spot. The teriyaki sauce was pretty tasty. It wasn't the best teriyaki sauce I've ever had, but it's a lot better than Ono's Hawaiian BBQ (their chicken teriyaki is trash!). The service was good and fast! The inside was clean and tidy. Was it the best I've ever had? No. But it's good enough to share it with my friends, invite them to go, and go back myself. I'll need to try the chicken katsu and bbq short ribs next time.
