GREAT PRODUCTS I own a hair dryer (bought at Barneys), a purifier (from Dyson.com), and a vacuum (finally from the store!). Each product has been worth the $. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY It's really neat that you can test everything before purchasing. Game changer. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE Henry and Aaron are two names that come to mind. I believe they are both managers at this location. They set a high standard for their colleagues and have always made me feel like a valued customer! Quick, efficient, and nice people. Here's why I love each of my products: SUPERSONIC Noticeable difference in shine and dryness of hair. Doesn't burn your hair. Con: plug isn't retractable. PURE COOL LINK PURIFIER Bought last Fall when I was getting Strep Throat and sick all the time. Last year I got Strep maybe 5 times!! This year, 0 times. No ENT issues at all. It also helped so so much during the devastating California fires. When the city was polluted with smoke, my apartment was a safe space with clean air. Only wish I bought the Hot+Cool Link for the heat option. Also in sync with my Alexa, so I'm able to voice control the fan speed. V7 VACUUM No cord is a huge win! It's lightweight and has a really strong suction. Didn't get the V8 or V10 because I didn't need to spend $ on the extra time or HEPA filter. I love our dyson product. But a recent visit to the this store left me not wanting to purchase from the brand again. The firsts time we visited we literally stood there for 10 mins, a lady passed us by to help the couple that had just walked in. Not even my white husband could get us help. So we walked out. The second visit, again we are just standing there with two associates standing by. Finally I walked up to a lady and asked her can we get help and she looked bothered that we were asking her. If it wasn't for my husband wanting to explore and ask questions about the new models, I would have turned around and walked out. UPDATE: I finally got in touch with the store through the Customer Service phone line. Amanda at the store was very apologetic and overnighted me the correct vacuum model, just the type of awesome service I had expected from the beginning. Then they really went above my expectations by sending a free desk fan for all my trouble! Faith in Dyson restored! OLD REVIEW: I'm a big fan of Dyson products and have advocated for them in my office for a while. However I purchased a vacuum from this store and was given the wrong item. Normally I would expect Dyson service to quickly resolve the issue, which is one of the reasons I like Dyson products. However in this case there is no way to contact this store by phone! I call the listed number and get the following error message: "we are experiencing a technical problem, please try your call later. Goodbye." Then when I call the main line on the sticker on the vacuum they cannot connect me to the store and told me to simply physically return the item and request a replacement. Stopped by the Dyson store wanting to buy a stick vacuum and got just that and more! They were holding an event when I came in and had light bites and drinks flying around. Ayame was so helpful and knowledgeable about the products. She helped me figure out the difference between the models and which would be best for my home. Had a really great experience! Not only did we receive a wonderful demo, I can so close to having it shipped directly to our house for when we get back from vacation. This is the best place to buy Dyson products. Forget Target, Bed Bath and Beyond. The staff here is unbelievably helpful, knowledgeable, and so nice. The store is beautiful and easy to see all the products. You can try out everything, and see how things work in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. What a cool idea and wonderful ambience - setting up the showroom like an art gallery, complete with effective lighting and dramatic black plinths. We were in need of a new vacuum (as our $$$ Miele was not doing the trick) and after doing much online research were leaning towards their cordless V10 stick... it was very serendipitous that, on a recent trip to San Francisco (from our home, far, far away in Carson City, Nevada), we decided to catch a little art at the numerous galleries along Geary St. before heading for lunch. As we walked along Union Square we saw the Dyson sign. No way!! Ah, but yes, and such a cool presentation!!! Here we were able to hold the product and check it out thoroughly... and then I noticed little containers of all kinds of stuff on the wall (all of which I assumed could be spread on their exhibit area that held both a hardwood and a carpeted floor). I asked the friendly exhibitor if they had dog hair... of course! was the reply. So she opened up a container and rubbed what looked like Golden Retriever hair into the carpet (excellent, as this was our main concern, having two of the hairy beasts at home). The V10 scooped it up no problem, without any hair getting tangled... ok, we're sold!!! This store is amazing! Henry helped me and he is patient, really nice, and very knowledgeable. They have all of the Dyson products out on display and for you to try. They may be one of the few (if not only) stores in San Francisco right now who have air purifiers in stock and on SALE (although they are flying off the shelves like hot cakes). I bought the TP O4 air purifier, here at this demo store. Very good service, got in and out of there quickly, but I also knew exactly what I wanted and I had already done my research. They also had the color I wanted which was not an in demand color, I could not find it online anywhere. I did pay full price for that air purifier, when I could've saved a little bit more online, but I also got a free replacement filter by buying directly from Dyson. And that made it worth buying there because they cost around $60 apiece.Oh by the way, the TP 04 Air purifier is excellent. It also acts as a fan, so for the price getting both is a good deal. That is one of the main reasons I got it, even though it is fairly pricey. I have had it a month now, and it performs flawlessly. I have it on almost all the time.Definitely would highly recommend it, especially since the field is very competitive for air purifiers. If you want an air purifier that also has fan cooling capability, this can't be beat. I'm also very impressed with the air purifier part, and think it competes very well and probably surpasses the same air purifiers in this field. read more

Like most men, I pre-shop for research and then later make a purchase rather than aimlessly wondering around malls and food courts. With this in mind I went to the Dyson Demo store on Union Square in San Francisco. I did already own a stand up Dyson vacuum and liked its easy to use waste disposal system which means a removable container free of the need to struggle with vacuum bags and the dust they themselves spread. Also and importantly, stand up vacuums can not vacuum beneath bed frame nor most furniture that stand on legs. The solution for me was to replace my fairly new upright Dyson with their Cyclone model which has the easy to use disposal container and flexes to almost flat to get to the dust under furniture. The reason I am writing this here is that the salespersons Abraham and Henry exemplify patience and no pressure sales; their purpose stood at answering questions and not with subtle direction to move to to buy products. While each of these guys speak clearly and posses great smiles and are easy-on-the-eyes, they both know their job - to inform people about a great product. I did purchase a Cyclone Dyson and months later because of Abraham's and Henry's attitude I additionally purchased an air filter fan just several days before the big fire up in Sonoma when the air turned brown over the bay for days. I live in a tall new building at the Van Ness Hub and it seems that this neighborhood has more dust than any I've lived in my 64 years here in S.F.. Abraham and Henry's attitude, basically their intelligence about their products made me feel what they had to say about the blade-less air filters meant the 'real deal' and not 'fake news'.
