Later, I had another problem as the fridge started making an odd noise. Initially, Vadym suspected it was the compressor fan, but the issue persisted. This issue had actually been lingering for a long time, I had at least four or five other companies came to diagnose the noise issue, each offering different quick opinions--some barely inspected it and suggested immediate part replacements, others insisted the fridge needed to be pulled out (which is a big job for a built-in unit) and fix from the back of the fridge. But none felt confident, they all rushed to conclusions without a proper diagnosis. Vadym stood out by taking the time. He thoroughly examined the fridge and, when the issue persisted, he consulted his network instead of guessing. Eventually, he figured out the noise was caused by the condenser pipe and water pipe being too close, which caused vibration when the compressor kicked in. In the end, he fixed it. What I truly appreciated was his commitment, he didn't rush to a quick guess; he invested time, asked for input, and returned until it was resolved. I would highly recommend Vadym and Metro Appliance to others.

This place, of course, carries only their own brand, Pacific. When you go in, there are a total of maybe 7-8 different models in the store. There are also misc cookware that you can purchase towards the back of the store. The sales lady asked if it was for our personal use or rental property. Since it was for personal use, she only showed us 2 models. I mean, she was pretty nice, but we wanted choices to select from. When we asked to see the others along the wall, she didn't want to show us and just says that it's cheaper models and not as suitable for personal use. Mostly for rental properties where you would replace more often. I can understand that, but since the cheapest of the 2 models she showed us was about $600, We still wanted to see all the options. But nope, she insisted for us not to even look at them. So, in a way, I felt like she was just pushing the 2 most expensive ones to us. We looked at other places after we left there and found the exact models she showed us. It costs less in other stores and we were told that those are older models and there are better newer ones. Why wouldn't their own retail stores carry or show us the newer models?

I have a dual GE Café gas oven/range, and the larger oven stopped working. I called Top Repair and…read morea tech came out to assess it -- turned out the igniter needed to be replaced. He didn't have the part on hand, so I paid for the part and the service call. He estimated 7-10 business days, but they got it in just 3, so my oven was back up and running in less than a week. After he installed the igniter, we ran a test on all the functions and discovered the convection wasn't working. He pulled the stove out, ran a diagnostic, and showed me that the control board was burnt out and not getting power. Replacing it would run $600, so I chose to hold off since the oven itself works fine and I rarely use the convection feature but I'll definitely be calling them back when I'm ready, because a new range runs about $4K and that's not a conversation I want to have right now. Total cost for the igniter repair was $300. The tech was knowledgeable, efficient, and got the job done without any drama. I highly recommend Top Repair they'll get you up and running again without breaking the bank, and the quality of work is top notch.

It's usually something that you need right away, but you don't want to spend unnecessarily. Top Repair confidently walked me through the whole process. They have a very tightly organized customer service response, they use the technology well to respond to quote requests and information calls quickly. Then, for a standard fee, they will come and assess the issue, and then that whole fee goes toward paying for the repair if you choose to use them. The person who came out was the owner, Bagy (BAH-gee). He was amazing. Quickly understood the problem, quoted me the cost of parts and repair, ordered the part and came 2 days later and finished the job quickly. Very calm, cool, and direct about everything. Later, a further issue came up (something we both feared might happen) and he came and did another assessment, fixed some programming as part of the visit, gave me really good options and, if the problem persists, I can call him back, he knows what needs to be done and today's consultation fee still applies to the final job! These guys will not play with you. They will figure out the issue, get it fixed, and be done quickly and neatly. They're in my speed dial now. It's so nice to have someone that I can call regularly for a whole house full of issues.

Jeff helped me out and I was taken away how professional he was initially. He identified they have stock of the washer I wanted but because of the long weekend we weren't able to move further past the process. He promised to reach out first thing Monday. Monday came, no communication from him, just radio silence. I even gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried calling him and leaving him voicemails to call me back so I could make payment and complete the purchase. I was certain he would come through after how nice and reaffirming he was when we met. Alas, he never did reach back out. I'm glad I didn't do business with them in the end if this is how they handle business. The manager's name is Jeff Stern who assisted me and went silent. Please do better with your next customers.

Close your eyes and imagine your worst customer service experience. Now, double that nightmare and…read moreyou will begin to approach the abysmal shopping experience at Best Buy/Pacific Sales! I went in on a Wednesday afternoon looking to purchase a refrigerator to donate to a non-profit I support. The selection was diverse and had a number of units that interested me. Those of you who are reading this are now thinking: so, what's the problem?! The problem is a lazy, inconsiderate STAFF that would rather chit chat with one another than help a customer! I eventually walked-out from frustration in my attempt to get anyone to help me. It was as if they were all chained in place and could wander beyond the counter where they were all huddled! I will never return!

Wow. I seriously can't understand how Best Buy would even want to associate with Pacific Sales…read moreafter this fiasco. We bought a refrigerator and asked for delivery. After following up multiple times, we received a confirmed delivery window only to be told the delivery guy got into an accident. Ok, life happens. We'll call this day 0. After many calls, Best Buy was able to work with Pacific to get a re-delivery "as soon as possible" (Moved from Day 7 to Day 4). Today, on our re-scheduled date, we got a call saying that refrigerator was damaged and has to be reordered. WHAT?! Did you not check inventory after the accident? When we called to figure out what happened, we were sent on this goose chase to get the right number. Eventually we were told that Pacific has to reorder a fridge but they didn't know when it would get here (they anticipate Day 9). Only then, can they reschedule another delivery.... DUDE. I'm usually a pretty calm customer but this is inexplicable. I don't understand why Pacific isn't expediting this. I also don't understand why Best Buy is all "hurr durr I can't do anything about this". Literally, the manager told us that until the already incompetent delivery man had to update the system to say it was damaged before he could do anything for us. So we went back to the Pacific salesman. We finally pressured the Pacific salesman to call other sites to see if they had a fridge available today and he "called in a favor" with his friend to hold a comparable fridge for us to check out in Colma and his friend told us "Pacific doesn't hold appliances so if someone buys it before you get here...too bad"...but that he will "try his best". Thanks for absolutely nothing. Heading to Lowe's.
