Keoki G. at Ferguson SF is da man! I can't tell you how many times Keoki came through as our hero on our multi-year long renovation project. We first connected with him in Oct/Nov of 2021 to order our appliances and then April 2022 to order bath and kitchen fixtures for our whole house remodel. He was thoughtful and helpful throughout the whole ordering process and when things went wonky (as they often do in renovation projects) he was there to help us sort out the issues and find a path forward. The most recent example: We finally moved into our home in Aug of 2023 and we discovered that the water dispenser in our fridge was non-functional, we bounced around between our contractor, the installer, and a servicer. None of which could figure out why the fridge wasn't functioning. We reached out to Keoki in a last ditch effort and through his magic of networking we were able to get on the service schedule with the regional supervisor of the appliance servicer we had already worked with, and they had the fridge fixed in no time. He's kind, patient, and professional. Qualities that you expect in someone in his role that you don't often find. This is the place to go for appliances. We ordered a brand-new suite of appliances from Thermador through Airport Appliance and it's been a comedy of errors -- the oven arrived in a smashed boxed and was itself broken, the fridge delivery badly banged up our hallway and stairs, and the cooktop took 8 months to arrive, only to be shattered, and then another two months to get a new one. During this, Ferguson was excellent in helping us and it made me realize what a terrible mistake we made. Ferguson is a preferred vendor for Thermador. Once you decide on a brand, make sure you check who their preferred vendors are. Also just avoid Airport Appliance. read more

Rosa Jovel worked with me for almost a full year making herself available on the phone, text, and even FaceTime at a moments notice (even on her off days). She would even speak with my contractor, plumber, etc to minimize miscommunication for dimensions and technical questions. I would not have been able to complete my home renovation without her. I initially worked with an interior designer but after engaging Rosa - I quickly learned that she was 10x better, more time efficient, and helped me narrow down hundreds of options for multiple bathrooms, kitchen, bed rooms, etc. its amazing how much money I saved without an interior designer - but that wasn't even the intention. Ok. So. I work in an industry where I'm somewhat of a specialist in fixing and customizing cars. So I'm used to people wanting to ask me a lot of questions as they try to figure out what they want or need to do with their vehicles. At times it can be tough. But I never forget that it's how I earn my living. I never forget that without those people asking me their questions and needing my help and advice; I'd be broke and unemployed. I started with that explanation in order to give my mindset as I started calling bathroom fixture companies today with some bathtub related questions. First of all. Most places on my Yelp app weren't open Saturdays. I guess only people that can take a weekday off are allowed to shop for bathtubs. I dunno ? Anyways. Of the VERY FEW bathroom fixture companies that were open to even TRY TO CALL. Several didn't answer. Several were rude or short or distracted on the phone. And one got so annoyed with me having the audacity to ask if they had more than one bathtub on display. That they told me. "Call Fergusons. They can answer all your questions " So I called Ferguson's and Allison answered on the second ring. She was patient. Polite and well spoken. She advised me that they had 5 -6 samples of bathtubs and can order ANYTHING. She invited me into their showroom and advised that they even had a parking lot ! In downtown SF?! Free parking ?!! About an hour later my wife and I were able to park safely and come inside their very nice showroom to meet Miss Allison. She did exactly what she said she'd do. She showed us all the tubs. She answered all our questions. She LISTENED to our needs and in about 10-15 minutes. I had a firm grasp on bathtub construction and material types and I was being given a very concise list of my three favorite choices along with specs for my contractor to veto or approve. So. Pros. 1. Open Saturdays. !!!! Hell. They even actually answer their phones when they're open ! And they're polite !! 2. Secure, safe and clean parking lot. 3. Secure ,safe and clean showroom. 4. Allison knows wassup ! She is knowledgeable and informative. Generous with her time and patient. 5. No pressure. Just. Examples and answers and fair prices. Cons. They didn't serve waffles. Waffles make everything better. Just sayin. Anyways. This place made me feel valued and comfortable as a client. That still means something. read more

I can't say how happy I am that I bought most of our fixtures for our bathroom remodels from Keoki and Ferguson on Valencia. We have been through MONTHS of construction where we have needed to purchase EVERYTHING. Keoki was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed PARTICULARLY the stuff we didn't know we needed! We did buy a few things from other vendors and their customer service was nowhere near as good as Ferguson. When one of the ventilation fans we purchased stopped working a few weeks after installation, Keoki made sure we had another one coming to us STAT, literally a few days, so it arrived before our electrical inspection! read more

Ask for Rosa! I can't tell you how incredible it has been to work with Rosa over the last year on the remodel of our house. I had no idea how much time we'd be spending working on each and every item we would need for our remodel. Ferguson/Build.com is truly a one-stop shop, and Rosa is the best!! Ferguson recently acquired Monark Appliances - an appliance store in San Rafael. The acquisition has completely stalled our kitchen renovation. Customer service refuses to deliver appliances because they don't know how to run/operate Ferguson's new inventory management and payment system. I've never encountered a situation where a company just flat out refuses to provide updates or deliver appliances. I recommend taking your business elsewhere - this is not worth the headache or cost of delayed construction. read more

I highly recommend you contact him as he is passionated about his job, has great advices around which items to select and will make everything he can to stay within your budget while maximizing the quality of the selection. In general, their website build.com is really well done and creating your project on the website before seeing them is a great way to gain time. Keoki can then review with you, give advices, etc... They have multiple items on display and free secure parking. Ferguson is extremely difficult to work with. I purchased a mini refrigerator to replace the old model. When contacting Ferguson to make a purchase, everyone is responsive and seem very eager to help provide a great customer service experience. Problem is, once you make the purchase and try to get an installation and haul away of the old unit ordered, nobody responds. I have one representative tell me that Ferguson doesn't do installations only to be told by the sales associate that I was working with that they do. The sales associate tried to connect me with his manager on September 2nd to set everything up but ever since then, I haven't been able to get a response to any of the several emails and phone calls that I've made to him. Don't purchase from Ferguson. 09/21/2022: Update from my original 09/09/2022 review...still haven't been able to get a representative, store manager, or customer service representative II (all of whom I've spoken to to make my request) to get on the phone and schedule an installation and haul away. The day that their technicians came to my home to install the washer dryer they made damages on the hardwood floor and Ferguson have never came to fix them or did not take any responsibility about that. I purchased a bathroom faucet from this firm. It took a total of two weeks for me to receive it. By that time I purchased another one from another firm and got authorization to return it. I said it back on March 30, They received it on April 4 it is now April 15 and I still have not received the credit. I recently totally remodeled two bathrooms and could not have done so without the help of Mindy Ellison. She helped me to choose a bathtub, toilets, and lighting. Mindy is so patient and guides her customers through the many choices that are available to them. She is also there if a problem might come up. One of the toilets that I chose was not the correct size for one of the bathrooms. Mindy immediately helped me to have it picked up and then we chose the correct one. If you like to pay premium [over]prices and get poor customer service, then that is your place! Their prices are an absurd premium. I wonder how much longer they going to stay in business. Not for long that's for sure! Example one of many: the Geberit 111.335.00.5 wall hung toilet frame they sell for some $497.73+Tax. You will have to pick it up or if you want to have it delivered you will have to pay extra. Online at Amazon you can get the very same for a mere $ 253.73 (!!!) including free shipping to your door! That's a whopping almost unbelievable $244.00 less! Ferguson's price is almost double! What a ripoff!! In other words, taking the Amazon price and compare it to Ferguson's price, if Ferguson would purchase retail at Amazon and add a 49% markup they still make a healthy profit! Perhaps Ferguson does purchasing at Amazon...! Who knows? Then comes their so-called "customer service". To go to the showroom you have to call first to make a reservation. Nice, but they don't open the door for you Or roll out the red carpet. Instead they pretend to be sophisticated by making everything complicated. If you only want information or missing or lost an installation manual or have a technical question, their first and foremost main concern is if you will or did purchase it from them and if you have an order number. If you cannot produce the latter they will stall helping you, give you irrelevant or actually dumb ignorant answers in reply that border on insult. if you tell them that you might be purchasing they make a little lackadaisical effort. Example: I needed a part for my toilet and the manufacturer website did not offer any information. I did not know was it either missing and supposed to be included or is this something that needs to be purchased extra. So I called them. All they were interested in was an order number. So I went to Ferguson. I wasted almost a full hour. Exasperated I said to them showing my parts-list for the toilet: If I were to order these parts from you, does your computer show which part it is? Would it show it or would it say it has to be ordered extra? The answer I got was a print out of products [models] with other catalog numbers. Kind of a formal polite way of saying eff you. In other words, information I already had but which did not reveal the needed information hence my trip to them in the first place! What I can recommend Ferguson for is if you want to seed the actual physical object/product. But that's about it. I cannot recommend buying there unless you have wads of cash lying around don't know what to do with it other than throwing it around or setting it on fire. read more

I've worked with Monarch Showroom in San Francisco and I will never work with them again because of my poor experience with them (they are completely unreliable, have poor customer service (Shelley in Santa Clara is a nightmare to speak with and blames the client for Monarch's mistakes), and will now only exclusively work with Ferguson - that's how reliable they are. Prices are reasonable - I compared prices after the fact (with amazon.com and all the stuff on-line) and they are quite competitive as they sell the more high end stuff. The faucets I bought are all back ordered, the sinks and toilets i bought were in stocks, but seems like I never get a time line when things will come in. The person helping me was nice but not very responsive to my emails about when the stuff will be available for pick up, which is very frustrating!!! The time line is important! I got on the phone with her finally and she said she will email me the details of the pick up and guess what, no emails. Finally I visited the store she was very busy hence not too responsive which I understand but still quite frustrating. My advice is: plan ahead, order 1 month in advance, prices seem reasonable here and nice show room. But frustrating if you have tight time line. read more

I came in looking for a sink undermount to attach the basin of the bathroom sink. Seems like a pretty standard part, especially for a specialty store. I wandered the aisles for a while, without any success in finding the part I needed. After waiting for another customer to be helped, I spoke with a gentleman at the counter who was happy to check the store inventory. Unfortunately, they didn't carry the part, but he checked online and found the part on the Home Depot website for me. I have to say I love Ferguson because of their customer service. We bought appliances and plumbing fixtures there. Rosa is our sales rep and has been helping us for probably 8 months. She was great with understanding our budget and then suggesting options. We had our appliances held at Ferguson for much longer than anticipated (you know how house remodels go) and they were good with storing it until we needed it. When we were ready, they delivered quickly and when we had to exchange fixtures they were flexible. Also, one of the plumbing items had a part missing and they were fast at addressing it. Rosa is a gem, so patient and very responsive. It is a bit more expensive but you get peace of mind and when there are issues they are local and happy to get to a solution! read more

My husband and I needed a new kitchen faucet and we went to Ferguson on Valencia street in the Mission District. John Cheng was our sales consultant and he directed us to Delta - Brizo Talo Smart touch technology. In the beginning we were a little apprehensive with the smart touch technology but after we received the faucet and it we insulted we love it. Its really easy to use. example when cutting up poultry and your hands are dirty you can touch the faucet with your nose instead of getting it dirty with your hands. While their service has mostly been satisfactory, I was recently assigned a new sales consultant who was frequently unavailable and slow at best to follow up. Purchased a Leland Delta faucet through build.com. and was told by build.com their fixtures come from Ferguson's. What was sold was a defective, flimsy fixture. Build.com tells you to reach out to Delta to get a replacement part. This is nonsense. If Fergusons/build.com cannot sell/represent a product in good standing, it should not carry defective items and expect the buyer to correct the problem. Three cheers for Mindy at Ferguson. I had a complicated order that my contractor needed asap. Understanding the rush right before Thanksgiving, she helped me identify all the right parts and got them shipped to me as soon as possible. She also helped me on a separate complicated return issue that required her escalating up the corporate chain. She stayed in communication with me and assured me everything would be resolved, and she helped to ensure that it was. Apart from the excellent customer service, the showroom has a lot of great high quality finishes and I'm glad I've made several purchases of Brizo and Delta products from Ferguson. Plumbing is complicated and it helps a lot to have a salesperson who understands the products and everything needed to make it all work. And there's a parking lot!!! read more

Ordered five appliances from dc area via Ferguson showroom and Ferguson Build Under counter refrigerator was measured by me and followed up by a Ferguson rep. I knew it would fit in our under counter space simply by my measuring. Ferguson sent someone to measure and said it would not fit. We were forced to sign a waiver and have someone else install and remove current refrigerator we were replacing -it fit perfectly and we incurred unnecessary additional expense for installation and removal of old under counter refrigerator. Unacceptable. We also ordered a replacement dryer snd our contact person went on vacation and left a number to contact. In a nutshell the person accepted our credit card for payment yet had wrong delivery address. This was corrected and with follow up to determine delivery no one responded at the link provided in her absence. My fist time at this showroom. I have been to many showrooms to look for bathroom remodel items. I'd have to say walking in the front door the showroom looked nice but the service person sitting right when you walked in seemed uninterested in helping or interested that a customer just walked in? I asked where can I check out bathroom vanities and she responded upstairs. Then she said she would come up and check on me, but she never did. I ended up speaking with the sales person upstairs and she was very, very helpful. Nice decent size showroom and I found a vanity and sink that I liked with the help of the sales person upstairs.
