Very honest salesperson! We went in there looking to support local small business with a list of appliances that need replacing. Get this -- they actually recommended I buy one of the appliance I am trying to procure at AA Kitchen from Costco instead!!! The sales person was looking online to give us the best price on each appliance on my list. However, they cannot match the holiday discount Costco was providing on this one specific appliance on my shopping list! If this is not integrity, I don't know how you define your world. I know other people wrote of them being not very responsiveness. I had a few days playing phone tag with them, too. But, we are near holiday season. We just drove up with our list, sat down, and worked with them in the shop. Andy is the worst communicator/salesman I have ever experienced! You ask him questions and he is either very agitated or his responses are useless. The kitchen appliances we are buying are not cheap brands and you think their salesman would be better trained to answer questions! There are so many brands and different models and we were looking for guidance. Andy's response was always like : you are the boss, you decide - completely useless response!! I was looking for his recommendations based on his interaction with all his customers! Nope, nothing. Also his English skills are not the best so maybe he couldn't understand our questions. I sympathize with another reviewer. Andy is unresponsive! AA did a horrible job installing the fridge in our new home. They didn't connect and turn the ice maker on, they didn't anchor it to the wall properly and it was pitched forward, and they refused to come back and make it right. Because it wasn't anchored, the fridge fell forward onto our adult son yesterday. Thankfully he was strong enough to push it back upright. read more

We needed to replace our Bosch over the range microwave convection oven which we bought from Sears just four years ago so we went shopping. We went to Airport Appliance, Best Buy, and Home Depot, none of them had what we wanted in stock, and all priced the same, full retail price. AA kitchen was our last stop in our neighborhood and a store that I had good experiences buying from in the past a couple of times. Andy was the one who helped us in the store, he priced the item for us with a 15% discount and with free two days delivery. I had a good experience with this neighborhood business. Herman was very helpful but also let me wander around to look on my own. There was never any pressure to buy. I returned a few days later ready to make my purchase. The items I chose were in stock. Sweet! Delivery was on time and carried upstairs by 3 guys who knew what they were doing. No damage done. Neighborhood shop, plenty of selection, a discount on one of the items. Were they the least expensive deal? Maybe not, but they were the least hassle (meaning no hassle) and they had good stock. I am thorn about living a one star reviews, but I am seriously upset right now. A little over a year ago we replaced our 4 year old Samsung with Miele stove (floor model). Was annoyed about needing to replace an awful, but relatively new product, but it is what its. Bought Miele form A-A appliances and the oven didn't ever work right from day one, in a way that is hard to describe - it would warm up, but wouldn't keep temp warm enough, I kept thinking that it was running cold, basically my baking times were easily 1.5x what they should have been. Needed to do a minor repair on starter on one of the burners so finally got a repairman in, $300 part called Ignitor needs to be replaced. Why was I sold a product with a broken part? I feel like I should have let them know, but the problem seemed so weird I kept thinking I am imagining it, or don't know how to use it. Apparently not. Buying process and everything else (selection, service) were as good as all other reviews said. Maybe we just got very unlucky. read more

Walked in here to look for a stackable dryer that would fit my laundry closet with the dimensions of 33" D and 32" W. Friendly professional, and helpful staff who informed me that the there isn't any stackable gas dryers that is compatible with the 24" washer I was planning to buy; only electric dryers were available. I needed to replace my current refrigerator and so my friend suggested I contact A-A Kitchen and ask for Andy. He said Andy is great and will give you a great deal. I did all the research since the area for the refrigerator is very precise. I called AA today and asked to speak with Andy. The person I spoke with said he was busy but took down all the necessary information and details for the call. After 4 hours with no return call back, I called again and ask for Andy again. I was told he was busy again and so I left my name and number again for a return call. I left the office and decided to visit the showroom before they closed at 6 since I lived nearby. I went into the store and asked for Andy, and was told again he was busy but I was told he should be with me shortly. After about 10 minutes of waiting, another person asked what I wanted, and again I said I was waiting for Andy. Again Andy was busy. Andy finally popped his head up from his desk like a prairie dog and appeared surprised I was waiting for him. Apparently, no one told him someone was waiting for him. When I spoke with Andy, apparently no one passed my messages to him to call back. I shared with him I was referred to him. He didn't seem too impressed or happy. I shared with him what I wanted, he didn't even bother to look up his system. He didn't seem to want to give me time or day. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman when she walked into the boutique and nobody wanted to help her. Anyway long story short, AA has horrible customer service, especially Andy. They couldn't beat Airport Home Appliance's price. To be honest, he didn't even attempt to do anything. I've purchased my entire major kitchen appliances from Airport Home Appliance. Nobody can beat them IMO. I walked into the "A-A Kitchen Appliance" store - Andy's showroom - at 9:45am on Friday 10/27 to buy a washing machine. My 30+ y.o. Whirlpool's belt had broken and after trying to replace the belt I realized... "dang" just buy a new one! Modern tech features etc. Boy was I right. FAST FORWARD... At 2:00pm I was using my new GE washing machine - delivered and installed. I appreciated and was impressed by the service. Andy was informative and knowledgable. This is a great retailer. We bought our home appliance from AA kitchen, i.e. fridge, range oven, dishwasher, washer, dryer. Their knowledge, service and also price were all excellent. Roger patiently walked us through all pro-and-con of different brands and models. He tailored his recommendation based on our home condition and use case. We initially were into other appliance. After speaking with Roger, we followed his advice: - Mixed brand discount: Initially we had to buy all from one brand in order to get more discount. Roger convinced us to switch washer/dryer brand for better part / warranty service. In parallel, he was able to get us an even better price. We were lucky. We had some problem with our initial washer installation. The warranty service sent technician over for free and help us to set up washer correctly. - Select range hood: I am into cooking and religiously thought higher CFM is better. Roger convinced us to select a sleek design with mid-range CFM value from Elica. The range hood is amazing. I love it. It works as I expected and I am very happy that I didn't purchase the clumsy high CFM rangehood. Besides their professional knowledge and excellent price where it is hard to find elsewhere, the shipment and hallway service was also excellent. The delivery man were quick, efficient and getting things done correctly. The only place AA kitchen can improve is the phone service. Probably the business is too good but they will call back...be patient. Regardless, we received what we need in time and really we cannot ask for more. I highly recommend AA Kitchen. read more

It took nearly 2 months to get a range they said would be 2-3 weeks. Super nice, zero pressure! After our Kenmore died after just 5 years, and turned out to be a known problem that Sears hid (LG linear compressor scandal), we said no more to Sears. Found this place, and the showroom person Andy was really helpful in trying to find a reliable replacement - was even googling reviews for us on competitors sites!
