    NOTE-LEVEL BUBBLE TO LEFT OF CTR. CAUSING MAJOR ISSUES

    DO NOT USE - BIG TALK, EXREMMLY POOR EXECUTION - About 15 months ago, my wife called Riggs (North Cal. Distributor) and spoke with Ivan, he reccomended Millbrae Appliance for where we should purchase our new Wolf Cooktop, Oven, Hood Fan, and Sub-Zero 30" refrigerator, we gave LARRY Turko (owner) a call and set up an appt. After spending over two hrs in the showroom discussing what we were going to purchase, we decided on what we were going to purchase - and that is where the great 5 Star rating stopped!!! Approx. 5 (April 2023) months later, the cooktop, Hood Fan, and Oven came in. When I was discussing the delivery of these appliances, I specifically requested a FACTORY TRAINED AND CERTIFIED delivery team, and was told by Larry, "those are the only kind we use". This was not true - Larry lied about this, and in fact had to hire a cleaning service to come and clean my entire Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living room of fine Granite dust that was left by his "Professional Delivery Team". Not to mention, they scratched counter top slab granite (during install of cooktop) which has never been completely repaired. Larry of course had a thousand reasons for what happened, and all were excuses for failing to use the delivery staff he so raved about during the sales cycle. Larry promised me that when the Refrigerator is delivered he will make sure only FACTORY TRAINED AND CERTIFIED delivery staff would install the refrigerator. Finally, our refrigerator arrived in early October of this year. Larry called to inform me when and what time the delivery would take place. A week later the delivery team showed up 3 hours late (no calls, no texts, no emails) from the time we were told it was arriving - that is parr for the course these days, which would have been OK, if the team that came to deliver it was as Larry committed to numerous times. It was such a BOTCHED INSTALL, that I had to call the Manufacture and lodge a formal complaint which resulted in having AIS (Factory Trained/Certified) installers return (paid for by Sub-Zero), they addressed a number of issues (all leveling and redoing what was done by Larry's team). Of course due to the many things done incorrectly, Box Appliance Repair had to come to try and fix the freezer door/refrigrator door issues that were generated by improper installation. Box had to order parts that are not due to arrive until the middle of Dec. All of which would not have happened if Millbrae Appliance used the staff they advertise. I have filled a formal complaint with the Manufacture, Filed a Complaint with the Better Business Bureau of San Mateo, and if things do not go well when Box is out in Dec. to make the final fixes, I will for sure seek remedy against Millbrae Appliance. BUYER BE WARE - MILLBRAE APPLIANCE will do what ever is needed to secure the sale, and then when things go wrong, no returned phone calls, or texts, and even went so far as to LIE to Sub-Zero about who he had deliver my Sub Zero refrigerator, he told the manufacture he offered to use AIS for the install of my appliances, which was A TOTAL LIE... Who spends over 24K on appliances and then refused the factory trained and certified installers?

    Large gap on one side. Also not sure what was used to wipe the baseboard.

    Over the years I have purchased dining room furniture, bedroom furniture and in Dec a dishwasher. The next purchase was going to be the window coverings. But sadly I have changed my mind as I'm not pleased with the level of service I received with this purchase. Don't get me wrong they're very nice people. But in my opinion they definitely dropped the ball on this one. I hate to write this review, but feel as if I have no choice since I've been waiting patiently for them to fix the problem, and they haven't. In Dec I purchased a Bosch dishwasher. Although the delivery guy Mike was very nice as well, I was not happy with the install at all. I called twice and spoke with them about my dilemma. Due to it being the holiday season and knowing they were probably very busy, I told them it was no rush to fix it. I was told they would get to it when they had the time. Now almost two months have gone by and I haven't heard a thing. Maybe I'm to picky but this has been driving me CrAzY! I'm not quite sure who to call to fix it.

    They are family owned. They know their stuff. They work with you beginning to end. Delivery guys also. Would highly recommend

Mike went straight to work immediately by pulling my washer/dryer machine out. So here's the good: Mike was able to diagnose the problem and fix the dryer to get it back up and running. The part that needed to be replaced was cheap but he said the labor that would be required to get to it would cost more money because he would have to take the back off. Mike was able to actually get to the parts from the top and didn't appear to require as much labor as he initially thought. The bad: So before even taking the time to carefully think about how to get the heavy machine out and not damage anything, Mike proceeded to just drag my machine out from its position. Mind you my machine is located in my kitchen where I have hardwood. Of course after he was done fixing it, he maneuvered it back into place. I already had a bad feeling my hardwood was damaged. There were deep scratches in my floor that I pointed out. Unfortunately Mike didn't seem to care. I'm not sure as well, but I think some screws that he had taken out of the machine were not all replaced back. I can't confirm but I believe I saw some screws left when he was done. I was never offered a discount off the price due to the damage to my floors and was also still charged the initial estimate that was stated due to having to remove the back. But the back was never removed and he was able to access the repair from the top. Although my dryer works now I cannot say I would recommend using this repair service unless your appliance is in an easily accessible location or you need an immediate repair. I would have appreciated a little more care and professionalism in my house but unfortunately it was not there.

A few days later with parts in hand he fixed the remaining issues and solved issues I've had from when the unit was new. Of any further issues come up I'll be calling Mike as previous repairs done by the manufacture could not diagnose or fix the root cause.

    We needed a part replaced on our Thor range. After filtering for repair services in the area that…read morework on this brand, the list was very small. Several never responded at all. Thor's own certified service providers were no better (one declined the brand, the other ghosted). Gold Standard had 259 five-star reviews, so my wife reached out through Yelp on November 20. It took two weeks and a follow-up message (plus a voicemail) before Cristhian responded. He came out on December 8, diagnosed the issue, and quoted us $272.30 + tax for the part and $310 for labor. We paid $85 for the diagnosis and told him to go ahead and order the part. Then, silence. My wife followed up on December 16. No response. Again on December 18, this time saying we'd find someone else if he couldn't commit to a date. He finally replied, saying the part was backordered and wouldn't arrive until mid-to-late January. We said we'd wait. Late January came. My wife followed up again. Cristhian said he'd call the supplier "real quick." A few days later he reported the supplier wasn't answering his calls or emails. He said he'd look into alternatives. My wife followed up again on February 10, offering to source the part herself if he'd just tell her the part number. No response. On February 28, after three months of this, we sent a final message letting him know we were moving on. Cristhian never replied. Summary: we paid $85 for a diagnosis, got a quote that was never acted on, sent roughly ten messages over three months, and received maybe four replies. The part was apparently never procured. His phone always went to voicemail. I'm writing this because the 5-star rating doesn't reflect our experience. Hopefully Cristhian will respond and resolve the issue quickly, and/or refund the $85 diagnosis fee.

    UPDATE: Triton finally called me back and was able to issue the reimbursement for the compressor…read more Thanks to Mario for following up after my review and working to make it right. Appreciate it! My LG refrigerator died recently and I needed it repaired ASAP. Triton was able to come the soonest so I went with them. They came right away and fixed the problem- the fridge needed a new compressor. So far so good. The job ended up costing around $1350. $950 for the labor and $400 for the part. Super expensive I know but still cheaper than getting a new fridge. The problem was that the compressor was still under warranty and the repair man said that they could reimburse us for the part if we call LG to have them replace it after the fact. He assured me that this is common practice and he's done it several times before. Ok so I pay them, call LG, give them all the info they asked for and they say they will send Triton the new part in 3-4 weeks. A month goes by and I call Triton about the reimbursement. The guy says he needs to check with his warehouse or inventory manager or something to see if the part arrived and would call me back. I never heard back. I tried again the next week. Same thing- he needs to check with his inventory guy and will get back to me. No call back. I call again and you'll never guess what happened. Yes same story. And now I am writing this review because I'm starting to think I'm not getting that $400 back. Ugh. Still I can't give only 1 star bc they did fix it and they were courteous the whole time they were here. 2 stars it is.

Despite not being able to fix my microwave in the end due to missing parts, the team was honest and responded well to feedback and refunded all the fees for me. I appreciate the honesty and how understanding the team is. They could've kept the money and not refunded me, but they did. Repair cost was cheaper than getting a brand new microwave. If you go with triton for the repair, they will wave the initial inspection fee. Will be using them again.
