Bought and had items delivered. Called and emailed multiple times for the rebate info, but Malay never responded. When he did, one rebate had expired and never qualified for another. $400 short of advertised $1300 in rebates. Spoke to manager Marcus who didn't do anything until this review came up. When this review came up, he refunded only $200 out of total $400. --------------------------------------------------- Purchased a Bosch range and dishwasher on black friday. Was told that I would receive rebate of $1300. I paid. After I received the items, I repeated called and email Malay who helped me asking for the rebate forms (you cannot fill them out until you get the products as they require serial numbers). Malay then ignore all of my emails. When calling him, I stated I am busy right now but will email the forms to you. I had called at least 5 times and emailed at least 3 times. I then went to the store. Malay wasn't there. A different employee told me that the rebates had already expired. Spoke to the manager Marcus. Showed him my repeated emails asking for the rebate with no response from Malay. Marcus said he would make things right and give me a call back as he needed to discuss this with his higher ups. That day, Malay finally emailed the rebate forms. I only was able to do 1 out of 3 of the rebates that was listed as one was expired and the other was never valid in the first place. Malay said that he would have to figure out what to do from here. Got $900 dollars in rebates. $400 short of what was promised. Never received any further calls from Malay or Marcus. Would avoid this place. UPDATE: Received call from Marcus after review went up. He said he would review the email I forwarded him and call me back after he talked to his boss. Only received an email response back saying they will only refund $200 back on the order. Still $200 short. Tried to let them do the right thing and refund me the full $400 remaining. Looks like I'll need to do a credit card charge back.

We let the minor install damage go, having just been through a remodel. Then we started to notice issues. Neither unit had alarms that were audible. The one in the freezer is in the bottom back, behind too much to be heard. Neither have any really positive close, if something blocks the door you won't know. It could be as small as 1/2 inch, your contents will go bad. The ice maker produced about a 1/2 cup per day until it failed. More than once. Handles had to be remounted, the freezer gasket failed... So many service calls Hestan refunded - but just the fridge. I had to mention the lemon law. Also no refund on sales tax or install. So, we're still out over $2,000. George (we heard he owned AA) was never around and never responded. The sales people simply smile and do nothing and certainly cannot be trusted. Our only alternative at this point is legal.

My Maytag Legacy washer is a prized possession of mine - its from the year 2008 and its a priceless family heirloom passed down from my aunt. Now at nearly 20 years old it finally sprung a tiny leak. I love this washer as its the last of its kind. Its top load and it has a traditional two way agitator and it allows for warm water rinses and TRUE hot water washes. For years I ran it beside my Maytag front loader depending on what I wanted to wash. I don't want to get into some top load front load debate - they are both great and I like to have both in my laundry room - throw in a third tiny washing machine - a Sidekick with wash plate action for jeans or delicates and your in business. With help of my kitty Mr Moose I installed this water pump in maybe 10 minutes. I tilted the washer up at a 45 degree angle, snapped out the two clamps and then with pliers - the only tool I needed removed the two spring clamps from the two hoses. That is why old washers are so popular. No computers, no nonsense. Just a mechanical timer that lasts for generations and no extras. Little children rejoice - wonderful inheritance awaits you. I'd love a beautiful blue/teal pair washer gas dryer by Maytag from the 60s - some appliance rebuilders sell these things for thousands - I just might go for it one day. If your all of a sudden interested in old technology washers - look out for speed queen and Maytag commercial - from my research they are the best you can get today in terms of longevity.
