This is my 2nd time working with Eugene after my bathroom remodel a few years ago. The selection is varied and of top quality. The showroom is nothing compared to his extensive network and knowledge. He has taken the time to take me to suppliers in Hayward and puts forth his opinions and expertise but always leaves the final decision with you. He recommended an outstanding contractor which I ended up hiring and both of them working together was such an advantage. The fact that his business is one I could visit several times throughout the renovation, speak to only one person familiar with my needs was important to me. We would communicate over the phone sometimes at all hours. He was very dedicated and clearly loves his job. His prices were good and fair as well. Highly highly recommend! I recently want to Laurelwood Kitchen & Bath hoping to get a filter cartridge, a couple of a specific faucet and possibly a garbage disposal. I ended up talking to Eugene and I am so glad I did! Eugene located the (correct) filter cartridge effortlessly, recommended a different faucet as soon as I described what I was looking for, and recommended a different garbage disposal than what I was thinking. These were fantastic recommendations! I absolutely love the faucet he found (and it's cool little pop-up drain) compared to what I was originally thinking, and the garbage disposal took me completely by surprise. The disposal itself seems great, but the splash guard is shaped differently than what I'm used too -- deeper and more angled. I wouldn't have known to even think about it, but it makes such a difference. Food doesn't get caught it in at all that then needs to be poked down, and if I dump a pot of water in the sink it drains so much more quickly than it used to. Wow!! The faucets did take quite a bit longer than predicted (I guess due to a problem the company had getting parts), but this was out of Eugene's / LWK&B's control. Eugene regularly stayed on top of the issue and kept me informed. And I wouldn't change a thing -- the faucets were totally worth the wait. I will definitely be going back to Laurelwood Kitchen & Bath in the future! read more

He listened, gave us excellent advice, and helped us sourced high quality kitchen sink, kitchen and bath faucets and accessories. The shop is full of terrific samples and demo items! We were overhauling our kitchen, dining space, as well as a half bath, and had visited a number of stores. There were supply chain issues impacted by the long pandemic, and luckily, Eugene managed to bring in items in time to help us maintain our planned timeline. We embarked on a major renovation (2.5 baths, kitchen, full gut remodel, etc) and had to pick out tile, fixtures, and furnishings for 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. Though we worked with a designer, we still had to check with sourcing and timing of everything as our contractor was not very good (we will have a Yelp review for that, as well!). Eugene and his staff were always courteous, prompt, and efficient. On busy weekend days, we'd merely give him a heads up that we needed to come in for an order, and they would create a specific appointment for us. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the products he has in the shop, as well as other possibilities. He didn't mind checking on things we never even ordered, to help us with decisions. And he was able to troubleshoot issues the plumbers had in our home (there were multiple!). All in all, this is an amazing little shop that has everything you'd need for a bathroom, and much of what you need for a kitchen, with experts to back it up. My only piece of advice is to make sure you speak with Eugene about everything, including shipping and return policies, so you are not caught off guard by plumbing material vendors. read more

Great selection of bath and kitchen appliances. We were looking to replace bathroom faucets and 3 toilets. Eugene, the owner, helped us to select the best ones for us and also had a great selection of new faucets to choose from. He handles only top brands that may cost a bit more than those you find at the big box stores, but I prefer to help the local businessperson whenever possible. We selected Toto fixtures and he was able to find a suitable replacement for our unique faucet. He tries to keep the prices reasonable and works with a licensed plumber for the installation. Eugene was extremely helpfull with the remodel of two of our bathrooms. He is very knowlegable of the products he sells. I obtains quotes from two compeditors and he pointed out errors in their model numbers and there was one item that had the compete wrong fixture listed. As I was near his store, Eugene also came our home to look at the bathrooms so as to make sure everything was going to fit correctly. I've never heard of anyone going that far for customers.
