The Dyson store is one of the happiest places on earth! Over the last several years, I have amassed their air purifier, hair dryer, V8 and, recently, the Airwrap. When I purchased my Airwrap, Tatum walked me through the basics and assured me it was a better choice for my hair type (fine/thin/frizz prone) than the flat iron that I was also eyeing. She also let me try a few vacuums w/debris of various sizes, which was even more fun than I expected. Vacuuming is by far my favorite chore thanks to my V8, and I would like it even more if I had a newer upgraded model with a laser to guide my cleaning efforts. Tatum also recommended I come back for an Airwrap styling demo session (scheduled in advance online) to learn more, which I have to attest is much better than combing through YouTube videos about the various attachments. Luckily my session was also with her--she was quite helpful and shared some great tips! read more

If I give zero stars I would! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen. I have been trying to exchange my hair dryer (bought at Century City store) for over six weeks. It was a year old and under warranty. It's impossible to get any customer service representative on the phone and through the chat I was told I could exchange it. But another month went by and I never got a label. I have emailed them, I have sent them direct messages via Facebook and Twitter. Finally after filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, they did send me a label - the day after I mailed it back , I got an email that said the dryer for the exchange is out of stock, and they couldn't tell me when I'd get a replacement. Never buy Dyson products, there is no customer support. read more

Yesterday I went into Dyson in hopes of buying the airwrap barrel attachment because I had misplaced mine and was desperately hoping Dyson sold them in stores. Alex immediately came to help me and had unfortunately told me that Dyson doesn't sell single attachments in store. He went in the back and told me to wait, then came out with a single barrel and gifted it to me. It was the nicest gesture ever and completely made my day. All of the workers here were pleasant to work with, but I wanted to give the biggest kudos to Ivan. Ivan was very knowledgeable and great in helping us buy an air wrap and a vacuum. Second hour on the phone with Dyson service. There "support" on a website isn't working. Digital assistant isn't loading second day ( not sure if ever does ). When finally someone answers the phone it is hard to understand what they say. Really hard. Now - the greatest from all. The 600$ hair dryer was working for little more than the year and DIED. Know what they say in a service? "They are NOT REPAIRABLE " and offered 20% for a new one . This is for an information for those who plan to get anything from Dyson. I made an appointment for a hair consultation with Tatum. They have a salon in the back of the store. It's behind the register wall. I had purchased an air wrap recently and wanted to learn how to use it correctly. Tatum sprayed my hair with water and showed me the correct way to style my hair with the air wrap attachments. She styled one side of my hair and I did the other. Wow! My hair had beautiful curls and looked I had my hair done at a professional salon! Tatum is the best! Dyson should have her create a YouTube tutorial! On a side note... I washed my hair before my appointment and brought my own brush. She has hair styling sprays,etc. read more

Stumbled upon this demo store while window shopping and having dinner at this beautiful mall. What a pleasant surprise to find Dyson! We are in the market for an air purifier and I secretly had been doing research on Dyson hair dryers... Awesome demos and knowledgeable staff. We were impressed by the patience, kindness and knowledge we received. All of our questions were answered and we made a decision that night on the way home that Dyson was the way to go. Now that I'm in the market for a cordless vacuum, I wish I had a Dyson Demo store locally. The drive from Santa Clarita takes as much consideration as the price tag. The store looks beautiful and is well designed as one would expect. That's where the nice part of the story ends. I recently received a very expensive ($600) dryer/curler apparatus that I cannot use as it's impossible to figure out. There are about 1000 pieces (Airwrap) that don't seem to make sense to me. I took it back hoping that I could credit my gift giver's charge card. The product was not out of the package and I had never used it. I was told by a very rude manager (after I was made to wait for about 15 minutes for him to get to me) that they do not take returns after 30 days. I could not trade it in for anything else. Support and customer satisfaction not important to Dyson for a $430 hair dryer. Was told five year warranty but now when its broke they say two! It went technically over two years but we were told five so we didn't even report it immediately when it started to fail! We thought a company with a big name would have customer satisfaction in mind but obliviously not with a 20% discount on a new one offering! Sent a Email to Dyson CEO but evidently he doesn't care either as they said will look into it but no response once again! It was purchased online from Ulta Beauty last year but specifically I can't find the receipt so I called Ulta Beauty right now and talked to their specialist I was informed (Not good business practice) that they only keep records for one year and then information deleted so she could not supply the exact date I apologize! The aggravating problem with the unit is after approximately 30 seconds it quits and have to wait another minute for it to cool down before it goes back into the never ending cycle of stopping and going! Makes it so difficult and time consuming to use the product! I know customer satisfaction is a key component to a company's reputation so that is why we bought a Dyson. I had a great experience at this Dyson store! Ben was the first to help me out; he gave me a demo of the Dyson Airwrap. My original plan was to pick up the Airwrap so I was already sure I wanted to buy it but the presentation really helped me understand the product a bit more. He also helped me replace my lost charger for my vacuum at home, so thanks again :) Nasya took the time to analyze my hair type and recommended Dyson's other hair tools that she thought would work better for me while delivering better results than the airwrap for my specific hair type (the supersonic and corrale) She is truly a professional and expert. She did one curl and my mind was instantly blownnnnnnnn. I had already decided to buy a third Dyson, but wanted to understand the different between two models that were roughly the same price, but had different names / features. Pretty simple. Upright versus stick. They only sell two kinds... This should have been easy. Me: "Hi, could you tell me the difference between this cordless and this upright?" Dyson Salesperson: "Um, well we do have a website that, um, you know you should check out" Me: "Oh, I was hoping you could tell me the difference between these two models as I would like to purchase today." Dyson Salesperson: "We just kind of do demos and can't really answer questions about them. /pause/ They don't train us about product that is old and doesn't matter anyway" Me: "Oh sorry - I wasn't asking about a product that is old, I was asking about this product RIGHT HERE - that you currently sell. Can you help me with that?" Dyson Salesperson: "Not. Really. LIKE I SAID we have a website" Me: "?" I ended up leaving and going to Best Buy of all places to buy another brand.
