I remember when this place first opened, it was really good and I tried keeping it a secret, but every time someone brought up buffets I couldnt help but mention this place. I have been coming here for years for lunch and I am a huge fan. The staff is very friendly, always saying hello and goodbye, and they are always on top of the refills. That is a huge bonus from me because when a place is always on top of the refills, its good in my book! There is always a huge selection of food and it is always being refilled. The dinner buffet is awesome too, but I havent been here for the dinner buffet in quite a long time. The dinner buffet gives a lot more sushi, steak and seafood, but Im usually here for lunch with some coworkers. The place is quite large, and is clean. A lunch buffet with a drink will run you $13 and change which is not bad at all, considering all the food options they have. Hygiene: I got sick from here, possibly from the dirty tongs at the buffet table that people use. I think this will be the last time I'll ever set foot into these AYCE places. Gross!!!! Pricing: $19.95/adult on weekends and $9.95/child on weekends. Offerings: Mediocre sushi, oysters, clams and crab legs. I just couldn't believe that people would just hover over the crab legs section waiting for the workers to refill it. Those tong handles are filthy and it's advisable that you should constantly wash your hands after using them. They have hot foods that are simply okay, but nothing spectacular. Chinese buffet - I know they're sUper cliche. If you've been to one, you've been to all. I'd like to say this one is different but I can't. Dynasty, however, has some cool points that makes it a better (if not the best) option if you're within 10 to 20 miles of Paramus NJ. Pros: very attentive waitresses, spacious, grill station with steaks, ducks, ribs and more cooked in full view, endless crab legs (slightly above the usual fare). Cons: limited parking, kinda pricey ($90 for 2 adults and 2 children for dinner, including tip), canned fruits, the crabs go fast (pun intended). read more

Every other Chinese buffet take notice, this is the place to model after. This place is worth the drive from Boston. Went there for the Sunday all day dinner menu. Its a great change of pace from the usual Chinese food joints. I was there for the lunch buffet, the food was changed often, and tasted fresh every time. One thing I can say is they picked the right name, Dynasty. Dy- NASTY. This place is horrible. I used to go here years ago and it was a decent place to go with above decent food but now it totally went down hill. This was a regular place for my family and I, which we tipped everyone, even the men working behind grill. One day we went and the owners wife who is money hungry, came over and told us we were there for too long and wasting food which was not the case. She also treats her staff like slaves and talks down to them. She has a nasty attitude and customer service skills are horrible. Not only did her attitude turn me off but the quality of food I cannot stomach. The meats are not rough. The fish stinks and is surely not fresh and the food there is bad quality. Everything is no good. The place is super over priced for crappy food. The place is dirty and the crowd there is trash, nasty people. I refuse to give this place my business and money. Dynasty buffet had huge variety of food to choose from. Food was delicious and got just as it should be. Overall, it was good experience.

I'm not sure what to expect from all you can eat Chinese food places. You've been to one so you've been to all of them. That being said the prices are a wee bit too high right off the bat. I'll give this place a solid "meh" for a very forgettable experience. I came for lunch and nothing struck me as exceptionally fresh. French fries were stale, chicken fingers chewy, chicken and broccoli kinda cold. My friend enjoyed his "hot and sour" soup and Creme brûlée but thought the tiramisu was awful. Maybe dinner is better? However they do lose a star for committing the cardinal sin of boxed mashed potatoes. :/ It's always disappointing to get excited for the real thing and bite into the fake stuff. This is one of the best chinese buffets in this area! Always fresh and good. Draws a big crowd so fresh food is always being replenished. Not one bad item in this buffet. Lunch is affordable at around $10. Dinner is at $18. per person but well worth it. The clams on the half shell and crab legs are delicious and fresh. Friendly servers and fun atmosphere. One of those places where you wish you could give negative stars. So bad, like sooo bad. Missing essential things like dumplings, sushi was California rolls and salmon rolls only, all the Chinese food was cold and tasted disgusting. Servers were rude which is typical for these places but this one was ridiculous. We left the table to get change to leave a tip and as we left the server stood by our table with her hand on her hip, waiting in disgust for her tip! This is my favorite buffet around this area. They have a wide variety of food and the waitresses are great with drinks as well. They have a hibachi area where they make delicious short beef ribs and a sushi bar as well. Favorite must try desert is the carrot cake and fresh fruit read more

The food was great , but damnnn they were too over rated and overly expensive , you can get the same great amount of seafood , clams , oysters and crab legs for a good quality and wayyyy cheaper rate at SAKURA and GREAT SUPREME buffet in RT 10 east Hanover NJ ...and for great tasting normal buffet food at a good rate the CLIFTON BUFFET is great too .. Two stars because the hostess was pleasant and friendly. I never write reviews because I had worked in the restaurant industry and know it's one of the hardest jobs. Kitchen, managing, hosting, serving, been there. That being said I had wanted to try dynasty for awhile now. Port of call or Hibachi Supreme in Saddle brook are usually my go to spots for buffet. Service was meh. It took awhile for her to take dishes off the table, and we piled them up to the side for her. So pre bussing was not great. Sushi station had a fly near by and quality wasn't that great (lunch), maybe it's better at night. I did enjoy the skewed grilled veggies and the DIY burgers were a nice change for a buffet. Red bean rolls were also a cute and tasteful dessert. The bad. Beef short ribs were tasteless and too chewy. Crab salad was dry. The fish was what got us both sick. Later that night we realized we had light food poisoning, no Bueno. Parking is terrible there also and the clientele reminds me of something out of a horror movie. Not classy but tries. All in all , avoid Dynasty, Hibachi is right down the road, more sanitary, friendlier Americanized staff, better service, tastier options, and management is on top of things there. Took my mother to Dynasty Buffet in Saddle Brook earlier today and we left. On line, they open another register and say "Next on line please", the oaf behind me and his friends hurry over in front of us ignoring my pointing this out and then ignoring my pointing out that they're deaf jackasses, and then our register's lady leaves after taking care of the people in front of us, the lady on the other register finishes oaf #1's order, takes ours (at which point my mother pointed out that we were ahead of him to which the lady actually replied, "I know.") up to the credit card, takes the credit card but doesn't put it through yet, then takes oaf #2's order leaving us waiting! I reached over the counter, took our card, "Done!", left, not going back, and we went there pretty regularly too. The food there is great, and I'm pretty easygoing, but I've got a pet peeve about people cutting in front of others who are already waiting, and the way it was handled is just horrible, unprofessional service. For the food itself... I have to give this place 3 stars. The reason for the 4 stars... Honestly, I have lower standards for buffets. It's more about what you can get for your money. Out of all the many buffets that I've been to... this place is pretty good. They have selection of sushi (ehhh-), grilled meats (duck is pretty consistent), raw oyster+clam bar (good), chinese food (good- I always get the fried shrimp), american bar, soup bar, salad bar, dessert bar... For weekday dinner $17.99, I think it's definitely worth the money. I really like buffets because you can try a little bit of everything. The quality of the food is different each day. One day the sushi might be really good while everything else is just barely acceptable. I would avoid busy holidays and weekends. Maximizing your dessert advice: Take their chocolate cake, some frozen yogurt, sprinkle on top your favorite toppings (I usually take just chopped peanuts) and whipped cream. I love going to this buffet! They always have fresh food coming out of the kitchen. My favorite is the sushi bar that they have. They are constantly making a fresh batch of sushi and there is never a shortage. The waitresses are ususally on point and bring you your drinks pretty frequently. read more

This place is definitely a lot better than the other buffets in the area. Price is decent. They serve Snow crabs, raw clams & oysters, ribs, skirt steak, regular steak, grilled portobellos, Peking duck as well as the sushi and all other typical Asian buffet items, every day. Even their dessert area is decent portion, not too small or big. The place is bright not dark with hard working waitresses constantly removing your finished plates. Overpriced for a slight improvement over a regular Chinese buffet. They did have some notable things like peking duck where they actually cut up a big piece for you, though the duck was still quite hairy, prime rib that was cooked nice and rare, good selection of seafood though not something I care for. It was a great experience and no complaints after. The best thing about this place is the choices when it comes to variety of seafood and meats. If you like both then this is very worth the price of about $20 (I know its on the higher side for a chinese buffet, but believe they charge decent considering the seafood/steak and quality of food). The crablegs, shrimps, steak, and duck alone make up the price considering they are fresh, tasty, and have very high turnover which ensures it to be fresh as well. The desserts are great as well with many choices of cakes, fruits, and icecream. The restaurant was full when we got there, which was also reassuring for us to try out this new place. I would say total of 45 dishes and 10 desserts. The quality is 8/10 and service is 8/10 with clean level of 9/10 as well. Great deal if you want seafood/steak worth the price. read more
