Dynasty Bbq is located in a pretty large plaza with a bunch of other restaurants and shops, so there's no issue with parking. We scanned a QR code to view the menu and order our food. We ordered about 7-8 skewers per person and a couple of side dishes, which I felt like was a decent amount of food. My favorites were the chives and lamb. The chicken and pineapple skewers were a good option as well. The meat comes to the table pre-cooked, but they have a metal plate thing at each table which keeps the food warm. Because the meat is precooked and coated with dry spices, the meat itself isn't the juiciest, but each bite was quite tender and flavorful. It turned out that they were all seasoned the same way, including the vegetables (a-choy, chives, mushrooms). That took the joy of bbq enjoyment. Their seasoning just has a little bit of a kick so not too spicy. It allows you to taste the meat without burning your taste buds. I noticed the spices they used were more coursely ground vs powdered. You can taste the spices more distinctly from each other which made it less overwhelming and you don't get sick of the taste right away. The "mini curtain" of Enoki mushrooms had a slight sweetness to it. Most of the meat are on the savory, not sweet at all. Good quality meat. A bit pricey but was satisfied with the taste and the portion. The bacon wrapped enoki had good slightly smokey but more bacon flavor. They had other dishes to choose from other than Kababs. Nice ambiance especially with the live harp music. The dining area was elegantly decorated and feels fancy just sitting in the middle of the space. Nice staff. Keeping in mind that there aren't many Asian bbq skewers in the area, I would recommend and have frequented this location multiple times. Personally, I feel like it's very easy to spend a lot here so it's more of a "treat yourself" kind of place. Service is done through a QR code and everyone orders through a shared cart. It's a little difficult to keep track of who ordered what in a large party, so I recommend taking screenshots before you submit your orders. As for specific items, I highly recommend getting the cucumber salad as an appetizer -- I always end up searching for any leftover scraps (such as peanuts) and I don't even like peanuts. We got a variety of skewers, two orders of cucumber salad (because it was just THAT good), and one scallop vermicelli. The service was friendly and attentive, even though we were at their last table. Staff is super friendly, really happy to give recommendations and were constantly checking in on us. We got a bunch of skewers; can't really go wrong there, just pick whatever meat/meat part you enjoy. The eggplant is a must get; super interesting creamy texture and the flavoring works wonderfully with the milder base. The spicy and sour sweet potato noodles were also great. Noodles had a nice bouncy texture, combined with the acidic and well balanced soup. The one dish I would skip is the signature mao cai. My night here began with waiting for my usual foodie friends at the front of this business. At this point (5:30pm), the restaurant was pretty empty with maybe one or two tables filled. The service staff asked me if I was coming and I told her I was still waiting for my friends. In approximately 20 minutes, the place was flooded with customers, so many that the wait list had to be used. However, the same staff member came out and asked if my party had come and had a table saved for me, which was not necessary but very kind of her to remember. The interior of the restaurant is authentic and there is live traditional instrumental music there (which I unfortunately missed as the artist was tuning up as we were leaving). The food was great. My friends say it was authentic and I am going to take their word for it as I am not well-versed in Chinese cuisine. I would say as a layman, the seasoning for all the skewers are the same, but is very flavorful. The point I believe in these dishes is how the different meats and their parts play with the seasoning. It's really a showcase of different textures. I would say for the adventurous, give this place a go (which I think of myself as, hence the 5 star rating). Our server was in such a hurry that they tossed our utensils on the table like we were inconveniencing them. Same with the to-go box--just flung it down without a word. Our server wasn't rude at first, but he wasn't welcoming either. Just did the bare minimum, which, in my opinion, didn't deserve a generous tip. When I left a 10% tip, though, he clearly didn't take it well. The interior does look nice, but the seating is a major problem.
