David came out quickly two days later and replaced our coax cables all along the two-story front of our house (in the heat!) and cleaned up our Cox box (the wires were frayed and all twisted up so Cox wouldn't work on it, needed it all replaced.) Got the internet connection to our preferred hookup in the house too. Value for the money. I was kept updated throughout the process and got reminder texts/emails, very professional. Two guys showed up early and got to work. However, their work was not very professional. When they mounted the tv they missed the stud and drilled multiple holes trying to find it. When they were installing the data cable wiring through the attic, the guy drilled a hole through the ceiling and missed getting the inside of the wall. He then explained that he missed it and that he doesn't fix these problems and that I would have to pay another guy he knows to fix it or i would have to fix it myself and that it was easy to patch it up and try to match the paint. They left a lot of drywall and dust on the floors and beds and screws on the floors and the tv stand materials on the floor and left. They left tape on the walls and on the floor and did not do a very good cleanup. read more

Nick was selected by Amazon Home Services for installation of a 55 inch TV wall mount. I spoke with him yesterday by phone to confirm the appointment. The arrival window was 11am-2pm. At 2:05, I sent him a text message and received no reply. At 2:37 I called and left a voicemail message. At 3pm, I contacted Amazon Home Services and informed them of the situation. No show. No contact. It seems this is a pattern, based on other reviews. Amazon issued a credit to my account and is attempting to find another provider for my articulating arm TV mount installation. Well, this was gonna be a 1-star review. But eventually, Nick's guys showed up. My 11am-2pm appointment was blown off without so much as the courtesy of a call. The young guys that showed up had a great attitude and seemed experienced and had all the right tools and made quick work of mounting our 31-in articulating mount for our 55-in TV. They showed up around 3:15pm. The owner, Nick, found my 1-star Google review that I had submitted at 3pm, and called his guys and was talking to his guys about me and my review and was apparently very concerned about the review. (If only Nick had been as concerned about my appointment and communication with me...) I probably wouldn't use these guys again, given these communication problems. You just can't do business that way! It was a mess. Fortunately, we were able to hang out all day and the install got done in time for us (barely) to make our birthday dinner reservation with my wife's folks at 5pm. I'm giving 3 stars here. I hired Nick and his crew to run some cat6 cabling in my home. My wife walked through the job with him very thoroughly and explained we wanted cabling run along the ceiling at the corners using trim covered wiring so we could avoid holes in the ceiling in the room where the fiber drop entered my home. His crew ignored these instructions and they cut 10 huge holes in the middle of my ceiling to run the cabling through. Absolutely not what we asked for. The crew also left the job before verifying the cabling they had run actually worked - the drop running from the fiber to the wireless is faulty (verified this in 2 minutes when I got home). When I called Nick he tried to tell me that my wife had not told him about the trim cabling and that it was our fault - essentially calling my wife a liar. He took no responsibility for the damage he did to my home nor the faulty lines his crew ran. I run a small business out of my home and count on after normal business hours connectivity. He cost me a full business day and the cost to fix the drywall damage to my ceiling.. Avoid this company at all costs - they don't care about customer service or ensuring the job is done right. Because I'm almost 70, I hired these guys to select and install an antenna for me. Before he started, I received 20 channels, some good, some not so good. After a couple hundred dollars, I not get 22 channels, some good, some bad. The gentleman was at the house last week to "take care" of these issues. I've had Dynamic Audio out twice now adding total of 14 CAT 6 internet lines to my home in Scottsdale. Runs I didn't think were possible, Nick and his team found a way to make it happen. The first visit back in Feb 2020, they installed a 15u rack and 7 runs and after I built my network, I discovered I needed more runs. They were happy to come again. David added an additional cable and signal splitter to our existing antenna. He was very professional and courteous. However when he left I discovered one of our two TV's was not receiving stations that we were originally receiving. He returned and added another cable and signal amplifier, at which time both TV's appeared to be receiving all of the same stations. UPDATE 9/7/2017: In response to the business owner's comment, I went back and read every email and looked at the evolution of estimates down to the final one. I want my reviews to be fair and accurate. He did say he would cut 1/4" hole into the screen in order to avoid more elaborate work. It's not a 1/4" hole but I'm not going to nitpick that aspect. With regard to the conduit, I stand by my review. There was no mention of it in the extensive discussion via email we exchanged. I am familiar with the durability of Ethernet cables. I would not have allowed ethernet cables to be sitting out in the sun. Conduit would not be very expensive, his own employees even said so when they suggested I put some in (see below). I also found an email where I took the time to explain what I did to get the remote viewing set up because his installers didn't know how. That's half the reason you want cameras. I was trying to help him. I deleted the comment about the screens below. I stand by the rest of it. -- At first, I thought these guys did a good job installing my exterior surveillance cameras. I trusted them, they seemed like nice guys. I need to recheck my ability to judge character. I didn't go check all their work. I assumed it was done right. A portion of it wasn't - they just left exposed cables on my roof without any additional protection. I mean - they just put a couple pieces of tape on the connections, on the roof, open to the elements. Not surprisingly, a camera went out in the first monsoon storm. I called Nick. They actually came back and fixed THEIR mistake but rather than doing it right with conduit, they just used a lot of tape. Then, Nick thought I should be thankful they did it without a service charge. Worse, he fabricated a reason to blame me for it all and did so in a blunt, hastily written email. He tells me they offered to use conduit on the roof during the install but I refused. That's when I decided I was done giving them the benefit of the doubt, letting things slide. There is NO reason I would say no to protecting exposed ethernet cables on my roof! That's how it should be done. Absolute lie. The truth is, after completing their fix of their poor installation, the guys told me I should go buy some conduit and do it myself. That's the truth. Why they didn't do it right the first time.... the second time.... ????? I was going easy on them. I decided to just let some smaller things slide. I decided I would fix the little things they didn't do right. Given that Nick takes no responsibility for his work, here's what I let slide: [deletion of comment about the screens] They ran one of the cables into my house short. This meant that regardless of the length of the other cables, I could only put the NVR under my desk at my feet. I already bought an extension cable to deal with that. They didn't mount the wall plate on one the outlets in my house properly so it doesn't fit against the wall. I had to try and fix it - there wasn't really a fix. Luckily it's behind furniture. I haven't actually gone into my attic to see what they did. The cameras work but I don't know what happened up there. It's not all terrible: the guys that work for him are really nice, seem like good people. They did show up to execute a fix. The cameras are working again for now. Inadequate execution of the job and terrible customer service. Then - blamed for their poor work - that's just wrong. I would not trust this company to do anything in or outside my house again for fear of them taking shortcuts on their work and then expecting me to be thankful they "fixed" it. read more

Nick installed new components for our surround sound in house and connected the outdoor speakers so we could enjoy music while in the pool...overall good job. However I recently emailed him regarding the outdoor speakers were not working at all. I asked if he could provide some troubleshooting tips (to avoid a visit) but got no response. I hired them to install a audio receiver and mount a tv. They come cheap but thats what you get - cheap service. The receiver (which I bought from them on their recommendation) stopped working the next day and I can't get them to come back to fix it. I was told I need to get a new HdMI cable. I was given a day that they would come. When tried to contact to confirm the day before, they claim I never confirmed it (have text message to prove otherwise). We hired them to drop three Cat-5e internet/ethernet lines through the attic to three separate rooms in our house. All three lines were then wired to our den, where we plan to set up our computer network hub. We also asked them to relocate a coax tv cable from the exterior side of our house thru the attic to our living room. The former owners of our house ran the tv cable from the attic outside, down the exterior wall of the house, and then along the foundation, and drilled a hole through the side of the house to run a verrrrrryyyyy long cable to the other side of the living room to get cable tv. TL;DR: Find someone else to mount your TV. If they mounted your TV, check for extension cords which are fire / safety hazards. **UPDATE** The owner called me after I posted this review trying to get me to give a higher rating. During the conversation he defended their use of extension cords by saying they only use UL certified extension cords which are safe. I responded that was not true and that the more he talked, it was clear he wasn't aware of what he was talking about. Here you go Nick, straight from the NEC itself: NEC ARTICLE 400 Flexible Cords and Cables General 400.1 Scope. This article covers general requirements, applications, and construction specifications for flexible cords and flexible cables. 400.8 Uses Not Permitted. Flexible cords and cables shall not be used for the following: (1) As a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure (2) Where run through holes in walls, structural ceilings, suspended ceilings, dropped ceilings, or floors (3) Where run through doorways, windows, or similar openings (4) Where attached to building surfaces Exception: Flexible cord and cable shall be permitted to be attached to building surfaces in accordance with the provisions of 368.8. (5) Where concealed by walls, floors, or ceilings or located above suspended or dropped ceilings **END UPDATE** Amazon sub-contracted this company to mount my TV to the wall and install a PowerBridge to conceal the cords. Two guys show up, and we get down to discussing the details. I show them the TV, HDMI cable, power cord, TV mount, and where I want it mounted. One guy immediately says my TV power cable won't be long enough to run through the wall. I replied that it's not safe to run the TV cord through the wall, but they should install a certified PowerBridge kit which creates a second outlet. They tell me they don't have this kit and that instead they will use extension cords. I told them no, extension cords are not safe, and proceeded to show them the Amazon invoice which clearly states the service provider is suppose to supply a Powerbridge kit based on the price I was paying. They finally call their boss and offer to install a new outlet, daisy chained off the existing TV outlet, but neither of the two guys on-site doing the work were certified electricians or even journeyman. They claimed their boss was certified, but the boss wasn't going to be doing the work. I turned them away... read more
