Yesterday my daughter & I visited this new location. We came from Escalon so it was a bit of a drive but totally worth it. Entering the drive thru was nice because there was a turn lane so that made it easy getting off the road. It took awhile to finally order, but that was expected since it was there Grand Opening. There were a lot of employees present that were taking orders and delivering drinks to cars. Everyone was very cheerful. There was a guy who gave us a bunch of cute stickers and air fresheners. That was exciting. Are drinks were really good, too. I got the Amaretto Freeze & my daughter got the Pink Flamingo Frost, both very tasty. We signed up for texts so they were free, even better. Anyways, a great addition to the CSUS area. I'm sure when school is back open the place will be even more insane. P.S.-My opinion, better than Starbucks!!!! read more

I really hate to say it, but I'm done coming to Dutch Bros. I was a fanatic in the beginning now I'm done taking the chances of it being a hit or miss coffee. I am a king coffee drinker I know what my coffee should taste like I need it strong and I like it perfectly mixed with cream and sweetener it's never balanced anymore it either taste like coffee pot coffee or it taste like sugar, never taste like espresso with cream anymore really really disappointing, I master my coffee at home now with my espresso machine. Why. Why Dutch bros. When I saw there was a Dutch bros in Turlock, I was ecstatic to say the least. Now this review has nothing to do with COVID. Their practices were handled very well. This review is about the sad coffee. I have been here multiple times and still somehow come back even after promising not to punish myself any further. Every time I order my coffee I ask for whipped cream on it. Somehow my cup ends up drizzled with an obscene amount of Carmel drizzle on the cup and no whip. The first time I didn't say anything because the servers seemed to be somewhat flustered. But the second and third time around they either missed the whip, Made my coffee extremely sweet or with too much dairy and somehow the caramel drizzle is always there. I asked if they could remake it as I asked for NO drizzle. They added the coffee onto a blender and blended the Carmel syrup into it. And it is literal diabetes in a cup. And somehow the coffee is never present. Fifth time and I am officially done with this location. I would rather make the trek all the way to Oakdale. Where they really have excellent customer service and my coffee is PERFECT every time. read more

I love Dutch Bros! At least, I used to. We used to come nonstop, it was a nice place to pick up coffee with friends after hanging out at the campus. The quality of the drinks has sadly taken a sharp nosedive, and what were once admittedly sweet but still pleasant drinks have become vile and indistinguishable sugarbombs. It sucks because I adore the broistas, they're all so nice! We used to love this place, but now we just can't justify spending five dollars or more on drinks we haven't enjoyed in a while now. The line wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and the employees were pleasant, but whoever is making drinks needs to be retrained. I've gone to the Manteca, Modesto, Oakdale and Stockton locations several times each and always get a medium, iced 9-1-1 with 3 soft top and it's always been consistent, but what I just drove away with at this location is not good at all. So according to Google this store opens at 5 am. I pulled in for a needed drink at 546 am and low and behold drive thru was blocked all the lights were on , 5 workers in the store So I parked and I went up to the window and knocked on it and I think I scared the crap out of every single one in there. Then I had to wait for them to charge up their iPads so I could purchase what I needed to purchase. In a matter of couple minutes there were at least five other people waiting for the drive-through to open and the iPads to be charged. I was almost late for work because of the fact that the store was not opened when it was supposed to be. And I have a feeling those people there we're still getting paid to not help the customers. I waited in their extremely long line out on the street to try this coffee for about an hour. Once I got to the window they were rushing me and I had never been there before so I just ordered the advertised fall drink and when I got my drinks they were all room temperature and tasted terrible. We have never had a bad experience at the Turlock location. Even in the beginning when everyone was trying to figure it out, everyone was still friendly and like a duck (calm, cool, collected above water and paddling like crazy below the water) when lines were around the corner. We will stop here 4 or 5 times a week. We have been to Dutch Bros from Merced up to Paradise, and no joke, the Turlock location is our absolute favorite location. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I recently purchased a gift card or so I thought I did. It was my best friends birthday and she loves Dutch bros, I decided that a Dutch bros gift card was perfect. I purchased a gift card and put $40 on it. My friend went to use it the next day and it wasn't active. I have called customer service multiple times with the date and time frame and there is nothing I could do about it. No receipt was given but I was in hurry. If it were $5 I'd let it go, BUT $40???
