The horchata latte is a sweet, authentic flavor that's horchata forward. If you like horchata, this is perfect. The brown sugar dry americano was recommended and my favorite. Perfect balance of sweet, coffee, and creamy. I would make the 25 min drive for this drink. I would recommend it for anyone who likes a more coffee-forward flavor. The biscoff latte is good but not as punchy in flavor as the horchata or dry americano. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to branch out from a vanilla latte. Great service! The owner and baristas genuinely care about your feedback and are kind. The ambiance of the shop is trendy, bright, and clean.

I had a simple custom request and the barista's reaction honestly made me feel uncomfortable for even asking. The facial expressions and attitude felt very dismissive instead of helpful or welcoming. What made it stand out even more is that I had gone to Pure Grind Coffee & Juice Bar the day before, and their barista actually asked around and tried to help make my drink the way I wanted it. That kind of effort and kindness goes a long way. I'm big on supporting local businesses, so this review isn't about being dramatic just honest. Customers should be able to trust your hours but things happen maybe it was a one time thing. I came back thursday around 6 Pm and they only had two flavors left. I wanted to get some of the other flavors as well. But again I get it. Things sell out and they don't want to waste product. I told the girl I'll be back tomorrow cause I wanted other flavors. I came back Friday when they opened at 10 am and I asked the same girl if they had all the flavors. And she said they will in 30 mins and I don't get that. Why don't you just open later then? Why would I wait 30 extra minutes? Her response was so wack too she said we have some flavors? I mean I literally came back today cause I wanted to try the flavors that weren't available lmao? She wasn't apologetic or anything it was so annoying. My parents have owned businesses and it's important to support small businesses but I'm good off of businesses like this that you can't trust and have no accountability. I went to Smallcakes in Ripon instead and they had their cupcakes out at 10:30 Am when they opened as a business should. Will never come back here again. Update: the owner reached out to me indicating this is the first time a customer has asked for cupcakes to be displayed upon opening. I literally have no clue what they are talking about? So so strange and weird.... I asked if all the flavors are available and was told not for 30 minutes. Whatever you're saying now doesn't align with what was said then. Im not getting paid to communicate effectively, the employee is. Either way bakeries don't open and say "hey wait while we stock the shelves." What a weird way of running the business. If it takes 30 mins to stock open later then. Your business isn't one that's prepared and you don't want to take any accountability for that. If you closed early cause you sell out then announce it. I literally called your number on Wednesday to ask if you're supposed to be closed and the owner said no. So again you're saying something now that wasn't expressed earlier. It's easy to come up w excuses and stories after the fact. Regardless even IF you did sell out, then put it on social media and a sign on the business so ppl know. Why would customers want to drive this far w how expensive gas is to find out your business is closed? Most people work 9-5 PM. It's so shocking a business owner would just say "come earlier" to someone that wants to support their business. People work and can't make those times?? I tried supporting your business on three different occasions and this is your response. You take no accountability or even apologize for any inconvenience. If this is how you provide customer service, your business will never succeed. Good-luck.

Fun fact: while enjoying my coffee, I looked up what "Con Azucar" means "with sugar." I mean, I loooove it. Self-admitted sweet tooth over here. I was greeted the second I walked in, which was a nice surprise since that doesn't happen at a lot of coffee shops. The menu has everything - lattes, frappes, refreshers, hot and cold drinks, plus a bunch of pastries. Apparently they also have giant conchas?! How did I miss that? Next time, for sure. I went with a Large Shaken Brown Sugar Espresso (4 shots), ready in less than 5 minutes. It was yums & sweet, just like the girl at the register promised. Hot take: it tastes exactly how Starbucks' version did when it first came out (before it went downhill). Con Azucar's is definitely better. A resonse to the buisness owners comment after my review of there Modesto Location…read more Every customer will have a diffrent experience yes, but the diffrence of experience shouldnt be based on the quality of product which I think Joanna B. failed to understand. You're products that were tried weren't that great and thats the issue at hand. you're coffee isnt stong even with a quad shot, & 7 pumps of brown sugar and it wasnt sweet or the "dulce de leche" as you so call it tasted like plain caramel. The pan that I tried was DRY, and size for price point was atrocious. I undertsand the cost of goods, the cost of running resturants as I have also done so. For comments to be made claiming just since your a small buisness owner and people should just take products as given and not look into it further based on price and quality is insulting. Money is not the factor here for me, but it could be for some. Good food cost good money but unfortunately you're Coffee shop does not fall under that category of worth the dollar you have set out. If thats the type of buisness you're running on worring about "making a profit" then this isnt the buisness you should be in, Working with food takes passion and a want to make the product the very best not just what can keep a store open. Ive been a pastry chef for well over 15 years, have worked in some of the hildest yielding bakeries in southern Califonia since my early twenties. So the quality of goods isn't somthing I don't know about. I write about food and give my honest opinions on such based on experience in this field. Ive ran restuarants, worked on labor cutting cost and what the over all profit margin on the product. Mexican pan culturally is some of the most inexpensive baked goods to make. We come from a culture that is for yield based on poverty standpoints. Pan mexicano was created as an item that could be enjoyed on a daily because of its low cost of production. So Making a cookie that is smaller than my palm for two dollars is as I said wild. People need to support Local panederias instead of theses gnetifried locations who supposedly are for the people. you're a franchise youre in the buisness for the dollar stop kidding yourself with the idea its based on high quality products. Restuarnts are expensive to run thats very understandable, I know that well enough but making it the excuse for shitty items isnt gonna slide. Unfortunately our cultural wants to appropriate so much that we start catering to everyone instead of sticking to our roots of goood cafe with amazing pan. This is why people need to stop supporting these instagram loactions that are all for the views. Saying that youre locations aren't for instagram is a lie and we all know it. Places having social media presence is okay but worring about the outisde more than the product that is being produced is the problem you can have items look appealing to the eye while also being quality, and if that were the case hell yes im down to spend 15 bucks on a large cup of coffee. Here no.
