Got the toasted mellow because it was their seasonal, but i wish i got the coffee with macadamia cream. However, I was driving tonight in my older vehicle, and while the woman taking my order was friendly, the barista (if I can call her that) or window girl was not. She called my order of Ceylon Tea "weak ass tea" and handed me the bf's muffin top, a lukewarm Golden Eagle, and my hot tisane. Typically, they are reasonably chatty and pleasant people. Not today, not to me for what? Because I ordered something with no caffeine? While I appreciate the efficient way Dutch Bros handles the long line and the friendly folks, not to mention the fabulous pricing... the drink was awful. Iced coffee with an extra shot and it was watery. So much so, that after I went thru the drive thru, I parked and went to the walk up to have it remade. At first I thought it was so much cream, the remade version was the exact same, so remade again with half the amount of cream. (Even though the original was only supposed to be half the amount of a "splash") The 3rd version I walked away with, but it was still extremely watery and can't even taste coffee at all. I've tried Dutch Bros 4 times now, different drinks every time and I'm not impressed, all the drinks tasted like watered down diner coffee, I don't see the hype with their coffee, all my drinks ended up in the trash. Staff is super friendly, upbeat and fun, prices are good for what they offer, sadly its just the coffee I don't care for and at $6 or more a drink with tip, its an expensive treat to just dump down the drain and I don't have time to turn around and get something else, because like most people I stop for coffee on my way to work. read more

A friend of mine who's originally from Vancouver, WA warned me about this place! "Once you go Dutch, you won't ever go back" I didn't want to believe her but I've fallen for it. Honestly, I haven't been to Starbucks ever since my first time. I went here on the first day and waited down four blocks for about 40ish mins to get my free dranks and I was not disappointed! I thought the energy of the workers would go down after opening day but I was wrong. Every time I've stopped by, their energy level is still insanely up there! They make me feel more energized before I even have my coffee! Since they've opened, I don't think I've had the same thing twice since there's so much to choose from and I want to try it all! Definitely look up their secret menu if you need inspiration, or if you're like me, just tell the baristas to surprise you. I have not been disappointed! Forget my busy schedule, I managed to stop by. I arrived around 9:20 p.m ish and right away you see how packed was! I never had Dutch Bros before and the fact that I had friends who always compliment them whenever they go to Oregon was a good enough reason for me to join the crazy line and of course, a bonus because they were giving out free 16 oz. for their grand opening day! It was freezing cold but soooo worth it! The employees were so friendly and I love how interactive they were with conversations. I ordered myself a Midnight Rebel. Which was their version of a redbull Italian soda. Instead they used their own private label energy drink, Rebel. It was soooo good, I enjoyed it more than a regular redbull Italian soda! My mom got a Dutch Freeze and the description says it all! It was frosty, creamy, espresso blend, and made from scratch. I took a sip and I literally fell in love. I LOVE DUTCH BROS! As a company too, wow. The promotion of staff for business advancement, the investment in their local communities, and ALS. This location is a little difficult, it is right off a busy street so you have to turn onto the cross street then immediately turn into the driveway and with the traffic it gets, the location gets a little backed up because the drivethru is not long enough and can block the intersection. *Pro tip. Find a parking spot on the street and use the walk-up window, its easily just as fast if not faster than the drive thru. read more

My only complaint is that it's not closer to me. I discovered Dutch Bros through my niece when I was in Arizona, only to come back to have a Dutch Bros of my own kind of in my area (17 minutes). Totally worth the drive because I love their drinks and the staff is always super friendly which makes me feel good. Both times I went, there wasn't really the long line that I'm used to. Especially the second time when I went on May 4th (May the fourth be with you!) and I was the only one there. They gave 4 stamps with a purchase of a large drink that day. My typical favorite is Sour Patch Soda with Whipped Cream and Blue Raspberry Drizzle and Whip Stick. However, I am on a keto diet now so I got the Paris Iced Tea which was really delicious and refreshing. read more

Why do I love Dutch Bros? ACCURACY- A certain coffee giant consistently gets my drink wrong, likely because my order is never repeated back to me. Dutch Bros always repeats my order back to me and has gotten my order wrong once, and I'm guessing I've ordered here nearly 100 times. Had I gone back and told them, they would have remade it for me, but I chose not to. CUSTOMER SERVICE- They're so friendly. Early on into my customership, they asked my name and remembered it and continue to, regardless of how long it's been since I've patronized the location. The Giant down the street has been taking my money for years and don't seem to recognize me when I come in. QUALITY- This isn't artisan coffee but it is solid and consistent coffee. If you want something fancier, give your boi at Narrative a holla. If you want a solid, inexpensive latte/mocha that's a good value- DB is the spot. CREATIVITY- Have you SEEN the fun drinks on their website?! Sometimes I just sit there and scroll through them and plot my next few days of coffee. Birthday cake, flapjack, banana split, Dream Weaver- so many choices! You can get them as lattes, freezes, frosts- so many choices. VALIDATION- I order my drink cold- so no ice, liquid to the top. This is because I have sensitive teeth, don't like ice and tend to drink my coffee over the course of a few days. DB has a name for this- a cold pour. It's $.75 extra but it's worth it because you get so much more product and it's made the way you want it and your teeth won't scream when you drink it. CHOICES- So you want an alternate milk? They gotchu. There may be others but they have soy, almond and coconut milk. They may even have hemp and rice milk- I'll ask next time. FINALLY- Suffice to say... I live pretty close to here. This neighborhood is rough and can be crazy-making. We have a large homeless population and a lot of drug use. Why they chose to come here- I'll never know- but I'm thankful they did. They bring a cheerful presence, a safe place, a well-lit corner, a better crowd, and something much nicer than we've been experiencing in the area. I'm a fan and you will be too. The drive-through line was three cars and one of the employees came out to take the orders of the cars behind the first car. The -average- Dutch Bros fan puts Starbucks addicts to shame (I can say this because I go to Starbucks every day and I'd change that in a heartbeat if there was a DB walking distance from my office). Dutch Bros is a way of life, whether you're hip to the "broista" vibe or just really love caffeine. Really, though -- try an Americano. Try a nitro cold brew. DB coffee doesn't have to hide behind all of the syrups and the chocolate milk (ohgod the chocolate milk!) -- but those drinks are great too! This location is actually my favorite, even though Renton is closer to home, because I've never had to wait for more than two cars and the baristas at this location are always as sweet as a caramelizer. read more

LOVE that the Dutch came to Everett! Out of all places north of their northernmost location (Chehalis?) they chose Everett, and just a few blocks away from my apartment. They are extremely friendly, almost to a fault. They will almost always compliment you on something (which is nice). I also love the fact that the prices stay the same even if you add shots/flavor etc. on the first of every month you get a free sticker (while supplies last). The line was ridiculously long when first opened, but it has gotten better. Rush hour times still back up, and the back up line goes out onto a small side street and around the corner onto a street which is already full with street parking. It's not ideal, so If you can I recommend getting out of your car and ordering at the window on the street side. The nice thing is even though the line is long, they have people come and take your order at your window on an iPad. They also accept payment and stamp cards. So by the time you get to actual window, all you have to do is grab your drink and be on your way! I used to be a barista, many moons ago. Stopped by this morning for my comfort drink and the barista asked what we were up to. Mentioned we are headed to Portland and it turns out she's from Portland. She asked the occasion and we explained we're making a hospital visit. This angel of a barista bought my chai and refused to let us tip her.
