Let me just say, good things happen to those who wait. There are a lot of mixed reviews regarding wait times. I get it, but choose wisely and plan ahead. It's not fast food and the girls work as fast as they can and always with a smile on. My first 6 orders were through DoorDash and I was hooked. The convenience factor and quick delivery to my address was prime. I wfh in the morning with my baby and it's hard to eat before going into the office and it helps! My husband and I went in a few weeks ago before going to our favorite nursery and made a nice little trip out of it. They were upfront that it would be about a 30-40 minute wait while they worked on prior orders. We ordered a tropical sunrise bowl, bagel and cream cheese, lotus and white mocha. We walked around and visited some shops to kill time and it didn't feel as long as it probably was. My husband and baby pick up my bowls lately and he always comes back with a story about how they go above and beyond. Stop by! read more

I've been here a couple of times and I enjoy it each time., I hurriedly and hungrily stop in. Certainly a healthier option than just about anything I could get in central Marysville. The owner is friendly, assertive, and efficient. She gets that people sometimes need to stop in quickly. I like the concept! Tasty plant based options: açai bowls, fruit smoothies, ok I don't know what else, but I'm gonna find out! I feel welcome here and that's a good feeling when you're grabbing a quick bite. It's not cheap, but the ambience is quaint, if you want to stay and eat there, they do have a few spaces for that. read more

Waited an hour for 1 Acai Bowl and a Mocha espresso which I ended up canceling the order entirely for three reasons: - They mentioned the wait would be 25 mins. - People who ordered after me started getting served. When I went to check on my order I was met with a bunch of attitude pointing to a sign that they don't serve fast food and they only have two blenders. When I brought up one example of a person who ordered explicitly after me had been served before me, they said she had ordered before me (the customer let us go in front of her because she was still deciding when we came), waited 40 mins (when we had as well), and they fulfilled her order because she cancelled another part of her order... - If you only have two blenders, why are you blending other orders ahead of mine? A bunch of people ordered smoothies 30 mins after me and were all getting their orders shortly after purchasing. Very disappointed, especially as I had been 2 purchases away from filling up my rewards card with them and had not experienced treatment/wait time like this before. It also didn't help that today is my mom's birthday and we had to deal with this hassle. read more

I like their no added sugar schtick. Their smoothies and bowls are very good. They're nice people but i didn't love the sizing/pricing. I'd rather get half the size with half the price since I ended up just tossing 1/3 of it. It's too much. It also takes sooooo long. We were standing outside waiting for 22minutes. 2 orders were ahead of us, but 22 minutes?? And all their outdoor patio chairs were locked up so you can't even sit and wait. Again, it was very good, very refreshing. But I probably won't be back based on time & price. read more

Price is high and takes a while to get your bowl. They don't soak chia seeds just throw on top like a topping which was weird so don't add those on. Seating only outside with no shade. When you order only 3 people can be in there comfortably so weird to shuffle around people when busy. I only go here cause it's close to me. read more

Love their açaí bowls. Only thing I don't like about the bowls is that they only come in one size. I wish they had a smaller portion so I don't have to waste it. This might be a healthy dish, but when it's as large as it is, you're consuming a lot of calories and all the toppings can be fattening. I made my own bowl with açaí, granola, berries, bananas, and peanut butter. It was oh so delicious. I am happy that Marysville has a place to get these amazing bowls of goodness. read more

The smoothie was delicious! The person helping me on the other hand needs some customer service training. I ordered a protein shake and an americano, her answer was, "the coffee machine is broken so I won't be giving you that." No apologetic smile, no anything. Very authoritative in tone like I just asked her for her debit card and PIN number. Probably won't be going back. read more

Let me start by saying I've never had anything like this before so I don't have anything to compare it to, but our experience here was great. My sister wanted to go here (she'd been before) and I was just along for the ride but I'm glad I checked it out! Friendly and helpful service, huge servings, gorgeous presentation, cute facility, and of course, tasty! I went with the traditional Acai base for my first visit but I'm excited to return and try the 'dole whip' style base that isn't on the menu yet. They also have a Pitaya base for anyone wondering. A bowl comes with four toppings and I added an extra. I think I paid $20 after tip but I couldn't finish my bowl in one sitting and I am a big eater! Given the freshness and quantity of food received as well as the service provided, I don't have any issue with the price point. The owner was working the counter and she helped me through the menu, and even offered to walk our food across the street to where we were parked when it was ready. She was busy and we were fine so we just waited out front but the offer was much appreciated! My one critique, if you want to call it that: I do wish a smaller size was offered! The one size they have is a meal in itself, where I was expecting a snack! lol Spoon and Straw is a fun addition to the area and I'll definitely be back! read more

This place is amazing! I am a San Diego transplant where there are multiple juice bars that serve Açaí Bowls to choose from. I have tried almost every açaí bowl coffee shop in the Seattle area. This bowl was by far THE BEST one. This is coming from a big açaí bowl fan! All the fruit was freshly prepared to order, the Açaí sorbet was blended perfectly ! Açaí ( & ) + PITAYA ( & ) = ... also I inadvertently met the owner (Angela) who was out at their first outdoor seating of the season. She was extremely sweet and knowledgeable about her craft. She explained Pitaya to us cuz we never had it and now we hooked . dragonfruit made pitaya on the sweeter side instead of the tart side of açaí (which we still love)! Would def make a visit again especially on the Sunday since the outdoor seatings r gonna be a regular thing for this piece! Love love love read more

Hands down the best around. Shareable size which makes it a fun date! Very clean and well ran shop for a yummy treat. Staff is extremely nice and make sure you get exactly what you want. They made wonderful suggestions that turned out to be my new favorite! Espresso options keep me going through out the day! A couple first timers came in while I waited, after talking to them, they said they would be back for sure! Mask free service is so nice to see just like how business used to be and in this setting the smile makes the food taste better! Went here back in October. I was passing through the town and sorta stopped here by chance. I believe it was the owner I spoke with, she was very kind and very patient. She was eager to explain how things are made at her shop & was very accommodating as I am super picky. I had her make my smoothie bowl without banana cuz I can't stand the stuff. Great little spot for açaí bowls! Also smoothies and coffee though I haven't tried either of those and can't speak to it. The açaí bowl was great! Technically I tried the pitaya base (dragonfruit instead of berry base), which was a little less tart. The bowls are BIG. $11 for a base and 4 toppings, then .50 cents for each additional topping and .75 cents to add almond butter. Which I recommend you add almond butter, it really makes it delicious! Overall my bill after a tip was $15 but I felt like I got my money's worth. It was really delicious, I can't wait to be back! Very kind staff as well. Cute little shop! I have very mixed feelings about this local Poulsbo, and soon to be Silverdale, establishment. The good: Caffe Cocina's food is arguably the best reason to visit one of their cafes. In particular, the chicken chorizo breakfast burritos are really delicious! The drink selection is extensive with some innovative twists on lattes and other coffee and tea based drinks. Unfortunately, I really judge a coffee shop on its ability to brew a really flavorful cup of black coffee - I will come back to that later in the review. The bad - The Finn Hill road location has mediocre to bad customer service depending on the day and the shift. Unless you are a charismatic individual under the age of 30, you are likely to be received with no shortage of attitude and general disdain...as if it is your pleasure to be ignored for as long as possible and then to have your order taken with the type of apathy that I would normally approach a Monday morning work conference call where you know you are going to have to listen to that one coworker that seems enamored with their ability to ask questions on points already sufficiently covered...I digress. The downtown location has much friendlier service, so head there if you do not require drive through services. The ugly - The coffee and coffee beans, probably tolerable if you are having an espresso-based drink, but I would shy away from the drip coffee and the beans for brewing coffee at home. The coffee is frankly over roasted, too oily, and decidedly one note for most of the beans that I have tried. I have sampled dark, medium, light roasts and single origins and have not tried anything worth recommending. Should this have been a 3 or a 4 star review? That depends on the location you are visiting and what you are visiting for. If you simply focus on the downtown location, I would by default increase this to a (4) star review due to the excellent customer service and the fact that they offer a pour over (unfortunately, the coffee is still mediocre). If you are visiting the Finn Hill location for anything other than the food, I stand by my (3) star review which is frankly generous given my experience most visits.

Chances are, you haven't tried legit açai yet (unless you've gone to Brazil). Tropical Berry is one of the rare places in WA that sells real açai. You know is a legit spot if they have condensed milk and milk powder (which is what most people add on in Brazil). I recommend this place to everyone I know, especially if they're not from Brazil. Apparently she and her daughter had lived on açai bowls for years. I'd never had had one, but was willing to try something new. OMG! They were so good and refreshing! We both got different toppings--we went a little crazy with them in fact, the fruit and stuff would barely fit in the bowl!--and we downed both our small bowls. I got banana, strawberry, blueberry, pineapple and peanut butter. The latter sounded weird, but it tasted awesome, especially when mixed with the açai. My girlfriend got the same, but got granola instead of pineapple. I also ordered a pressed sugar cane drink. Yup, made from real sugar canes. Sounds weird, and one would think would be extremely sweet. But no, not super sweet, and surprisingly refreshing. I remember gnawing on sugar canes when I was a kid, so the flavor was familiar. But a drink was a lot easier to consume!! I'll definitely get it again! The place is tiny. Only two tables. And, although it's across Bothell Way from the bike trail, you really have to cross at one of the lights, before or after. A little hassle, but so worth it!!
