Wish I could give a better review, the drink was aesthetically pleasing to look at but tasted absolutely awful. Watered down bitters shots. When the barista made my drink she add cold milk to the glass the coffee shots went into. Not a big deal but this drink had a chocolate melted into it, well it didn't melt because the cold milk. So it was chunky. The service was very strange, short and direct not welcoming and when I went to pay I was asked to pay in cash "the owner likes the closers to get cash for next day" This stand left a lot to be desired, first and last time!

Yes!! Friendly baristas and yummy drinks. I was happy to find that the coffee drink wasn't too sweet. They have options for fun toppings including Oreos, chocolates and cookies. Would definitely stop here again

Super fun decorated drinks! The barista was so nice and the line went by fast. Only thing is the drinks had a lot of ice. Felt like there should've been more liquid.

The baristas were so sweet and gave my pup a peanut butter drizzled pup cup with treats! As for my drink I just asked for something extra and a donut and they surprised me with this! If you're in the Snohomish/Everett area I think it is worth the visit. Drinks are very sweet. The appearance and stand is nothing special. I did not experience a wait as I came around noon on a Tuesday.

Came by on my way back to the Olympic peninsula after a weekend trip. Due to the place going viral it was definitely little busy for a little coffee hut, but I didn't mind the wait! There were two girls running it and they were both so incredibly sweet and were a blast to chat with. They both had amazing attitudes about being so busy and even offered to help me figure out which drink I would like! The drink was SO good, I got the maple macchiato. 10/10. The drink was decorated cutely with a donut and cookie on top. It was $9 for a 24oz but honestly that didn't feel like much more than a normal coffee when you consider the extras that came with it! If I lived closer, I would definitely go back often! Please remember to be kind, they're working hard taking care of everyone :)

Super yummy!! They take their time making the drinks. Lots of thought and time put into this places menu !! I recommend

Absolutely delicious little energy drinks, such sweet baristas, and over all vibe was so good!!

My go-to place for Italian sodas and coffee! They do something special by adding candies to their drinks. The sprinkles and candy make their already great Italian sodas and coffee even better.

First time at Grounds, luckily for us we had super helpful baristas that had suggestions and gave us the time to decide on the plethora of drinks and food available. All of our drinks were worth the drive. Even the pup cup for my dog was fabulous!! Great for human and dogs alike!!

Grounds coffee has amazing specialty drinks. I love the array of monin flavors and lotus energy flavors they offer! I personally prefer lotus energy drinks because it is plant based and waaayy healthier than red bull. Each time I go to grounds coffee, the girls working there are super nice and super helpful when you don't know what kind of drink to try. Grounds coffee has pretty much any drink you could think of and honestly, I prefer supporting small coffee shops like grounds vs. going to Starbucks. Starbucks can't make you a super fun fruity or chocolaty drink with peach rings on the straw or candy canes on top of the whipped cream! But grounds coffee co. sure can!

Wow, what a god send of a bakery! A complete GF bakery?!?! Yayyyy!!…read more I am so excited when I found out they make vegan, dairy free pastries. Double checked...Dairy free means no milk, cream, yogurt, butter etc. so I look for labels that says DV, V. Everything is automatically certified gluten free and there is no worry on cross contamination. They don't use run of the mill commercial grade high gluten flour the website tells all. There's also paleo, keto options. As someone who hasn't been eating butter based pastries due to doctor's orders, this bakery is like finding gold. Our favorite after 2 visits are their vegan dairy free sea salt chocolate chunk cookie, their classic GF big chocolate chip cookie, vegan dairy free banana macadamia nut muffin, and my absolute favorite is their dairy free vegan sweet strawberry scone (with rhubarb, flax and coconut). I typically find scones to be bland and dry. Not these! I enjoyed these so much they were so moist and delicious but what I love most is the chewy bits on the edge. My hubby is a chocolate fiend but he usually get sluggish and sick to his stomach after inhaling a large chocolate pastry from other bakery. He ate their large size classic chocolate chip cookie and it didn't bother him. Tasted amazing too! Their sourdough is one of a kind. It's piping hot and available on a daily basis while supplies last. Nobody offers gluten free artisan sourdough fresh out of the oven on a walk in basis. It stayed hot for hours after I brought it home because it was such a dense dough. When I think about how much more time and work went into these special loaves (not mass produced) and loaded with nutrition, the $23.50 is worth it! The sourdough is super moist if you don't toast it there's almost a slight tacky feel to it. Once toasted, it is the best artisan toast eating experience. This am, I enjoyed an open faced peanut butter and blackberry jam toast. Appreciate also they provide on the package specific care instructions for the best experience. For the price, I made sure we wash our hands and did all the suggested prep needed. My only critique would be transparency on pricing in store and on website. It was mildly shocking when the register total was in the $80 range after 2 sourdough loaves and 6 pastries before tip. After eating it, we realized it's actually worth every penny. Good at a different level. Maybe if they have a daily special would be nice to bring in more people? Well, we will come back regardless! Love this new bakery find!!

I liked this place. It would be on my list of places to walk into when I am in the area. A variety…read moreof baked goods, drinks, offerings. Upon entering, i immediately noticed baked goods display and the drink menu. The case was filled with a bunch of interesting types of baked goods. On top of the rose cardamom latte, brioche tart and cardamom twist. We also got a savory scone and another item that escapes me. I enjoyed the savory scone the most. It had chives and bacon amongst other things. Great texture and not too dry. The brioche tart was a meal all on its own. Heavy and will put you to sleep. The cheese I think that was in there was gruyere but I could be wrong. I enjoyed it but definitely will splooge out if you down eat it on a plate with utensils. Eventually it does get monotonous for me. Recommend sharing it. Cardamom twist was the least favorite item. I'm not sure what it was but there was an essence of something in the background that threw the flavor off for me. I can't seem to describe it. The twist was slightly doughy/stodgy for me. Maybe part of an off batch. I typically do like cardamom centered things. This wasn't my favorite is all I can say. One suggestion I would hope gets implemented is cost of goods displayed for each item. I can say I was surprised at the total during check out. I do go to a lot of bakeries, cafes and artisanal shops. I always felt more at ease knowing what I was getting into from a financial standpoint. Tip is to look at their discounted items. They are a steal. They also have a rewards program that gets you a drink with every new sign up paired with a purchase I wish I had known prior to purchase as I was only able to spot signage at the register.

The cafe is located downstairs in the basement. During the olden days, it was a school house! Now the upstairs is a gym/basketball court. It's quite popular on the weekends! Saturdays are relatively a bit better than Sundays to come through. Expect to wait and people waiting. They sell honey, merch like t-shirts and sweaters, special seasoning and their famous enormous cinnamon rolls! Their menu encompasses breakfast favorites, omelettes and scrambles, along with pancakes, French toast and waffles. Some establishments serve pancakes with the entrees and saw that pancakes weren't an option, even a side! But since you get a lot of food already, it's understandable why pancakes wouldn't be included. My bf and I got the special! Since it's Easter tomorrow, we got the Easter Benedict! Holy moly -- this was a HIT! ** PLEASE make this again, it was delicious!!!** I got mine with the honey country ham while my bf had bacon. They were not skimpy on the meat, it was thick cut and generous. It had scrambled eggs on top with the most delicious amazing hollandaise sauce EVER! It also has tender asparagus at the bottom and the most AMAZING cornbread I've ever had!!! It came with country potatoes. Overall, this dish was DELICIOUS and DEFINITELY worth having again!!!! I got a side of biscuits and gravy. While the pepper gravy was good, I should've requested sausage gravy as that it so much more flavorful! My parents loved their omelettes. The staff is super friendly and rotates around to make sure you were taken cared of and providing more refills on coffee! We absolutely adored Rachel! Exceptional hospitality, service and demeanor!! Loved her!! Maltby tops breakfast and brunch places for me. Cannot wait to be back soon!

Food: There is nothing spectacular here unless you count the gigantic cinnamon rolls, which are quite delicious served warm at the table with so much icing it practically runs onto the table. The burger was very good and huge. Curry chicken was also a winner with lots of veggies, chicken in tasty curry sauce. Service: There was a waitlist upon arrival which did move rather quickly for the number of people already seated and a couple dozen waiting for a table. I am guessing that it is always busy so you may not see a server immediately. However, the service is quite friendly and not rushed by the seeming high energy of the restaurant. Heidi took time to listen carefully to our specific requests and delivered with grace and caring. Ambiance: I did mention the place was completely full, so the noise level was a bit daunting and I was glad when we left. Too much audio stimulation from people talking extra loudly just to be heard by others sitting right next to them. Overall, I would say this is an experience where you find large portions and a nice array of comfort type dishes. You should at least go once and see for yourself what the hype is all about. Turns out they will be moving into a brand new facility being built by the developer who is putting in major housing units. Hope they have a bit more space in the new place.

I would sit and chat with friends for a bit but this isn't a place I would bring my laptop to work. We arrived on a gloomy Sunday afternoon and they were pretty busy. Considering how many drinks they had to make the wait wasn't bad and the staff was very friendly and smiled and said hello to everyone. I am looking forward to coming back for another drink.
