we were in line for 20 minutes with only one car at the window in front of us then it took a little over 10 minutes to get 3 drinks. the girls were a little bit rude and short and our coffee was burnt. Wish I could give a better review, the drink was aesthetically pleasing to look at but tasted absolutely awful. Watered down bitters shots. When the barista made my drink she add cold milk to the glass the coffee shots went into. Not a big deal but this drink had a chocolate melted into it, well it didn't melt because the cold milk. So it was chunky. Cute little stand that found a gimmick to get everyone and there mom there. We were early in heading out after seeing on TikTok, thankfully, and had drinks in hand within 20 minutes. I did see it blow up after this, need police assistance and even made the news. Surprising considering they have several locations and this is the one without a blender, lol. There are a few things with my experience this time. I have been here a few times and it was OK before, but this time I had to repeat myself a few times before the lady heard what I said I wanted. Then there was hair in my daughter and my son's drinks. It's pretty gross not to mention that you have to pay nine dollars a drink and it was $50 for four drinks. Came by on my way back to the Olympic peninsula after a weekend trip. Due to the place going viral it was definitely little busy for a little coffee hut, but I didn't mind the wait! There were two girls running it and they were both so incredibly sweet and were a blast to chat with. They both had amazing attitudes about being so busy and even offered to help me figure out which drink I would like! The drink was SO good, I got the maple macchiato. 10/10. The drink was decorated cutely with a donut and cookie on top. It was $9 for a 24oz but honestly that didn't feel like much more than a normal coffee when you consider the extras that came with it! First I want to say that this used to be hands down my absolute favorite place to go and I always looked forward to going. I have mobility issues so I can't drive myself just yet...so getting to go is a big deal to me. There are two baristas there that are always so sweet (blonde or brownish blonde hair) and in the past the customer service was outstanding, but the past few times that I've been it's been so awful and every single time it's been for the same reason. I'm not sure if she's the lead or manager (gal with reddish hair) but she is so rude and brash. She constantly interrupts her baristas when they're talking to their customers, she talks over customers and interrupts them as well, and the way she speaks to people is just awful. One time I came and she was standing in the window so I asked her a question about a drink on the menu because I thought maybe I'd branch out and try something new and when I asked her she put her hand out at me like "hold on, be quiet, or wait" and turned away and then briefly and so quickly I could barely understand what her description. I was just about to ask her to explain it further or repeat what she said when she cut me off and said, "I don't have time for this, I'm getting info for my boss" and then she turned away but was still standing in the drive-thru window. So I tried to ask my barista and as she was explaining, this gal cut in again and did it twice more during my order. It was the most frustrating experience I've encountered in a while and this was two visits before my birthday visit. Now all of the sudden there's no time for patrons to ask questions about the menu even when there's no one else in line, this gal has them rushing around and everyone just looks confused and nervous. Each time I had to repeat my order several times because she would interrupt them and they couldn't keep the order straight. This last visit was probably the most disappointing because it was my birthday and I had been really looking forward to it. I already knew what drink I wanted and sure as the sky is blue "the interrupter" struck again..after repeating my order for the 3rd time , my barista asked if I wanted something to eat. I don't usually order food for myself but I thought, "meh why not, it's my bday" and I was feeling a little nauseous from the drive and taking meds, so I decided last minute on a burrito. Next thing I know I hear "the interrupter" yelling from inside back behind the window, "NEXT TIME YOU NEED TO ORDER YOUR FOOD FIRST!".... I could not believe my ears. How is this woman supervising these other two employees??? She has been so absolutely unprofessional for the last half dozen times that I have frequented this location. I have folks bring me here because the coffee is so good and I am a patient person. I also know that some folks have bad days and don't always put their best foot forward or can lack grace at moments but I'm at the point now where I am pretty close to wanting to find a new place to go because honestly it just puts a damper on my day after having gone there lately. I don't get out of the house much so this was really impactful. I don't write reviews much but this person should know that her actions impact others. People come there for their coffee and/or tea, etc. It may be the first place they go in the morning and that could set the tone for someone else's entire day. It's not just about the drink. You guys are in the customer service business. Your customers want to be greeted by friendly, respectful, polite, and attentive service people that love what they do and it shows. Whatever yall were doing before this gal was in charge was SO much better than it is now. To whoever is in charge now: You guys need someone who can handle stress with grace and who knows how to manage without micromanaging. Just a thought. This gal is not it. I use to be a regular at the Woodinville one, stopped going there because the mom and daughter who work there (one of them is the owner, or both) are so incredibly rude. I have heard this about them numerous times. Woodinville is a small town, they don't have a good reputation. So I stopped going to that one and started trying the Snohomish one, unfortunately they are always out of things so I have given up with this one too and go down the road to a much better (much cheaper) coffee stand down the road. From what I have heard the owners treat that store like the ugly step child and it shows. The baristas are great, nothing against them but I just feel bad for them, I have heard horror stories about how the owner treats their employees. I have seen multiple reviews about the owners and I agree. They better be careful and get their heads on straight before they lose another location. read more

Grounds coffee has amazing specialty drinks. I love the array of monin flavors and lotus energy flavors they offer! I personally prefer lotus energy drinks because it is plant based and waaayy healthier than red bull. Each time I go to grounds coffee, the girls working there are super nice and super helpful when you don't know what kind of drink to try. Grounds coffee has pretty much any drink you could think of and honestly, I prefer supporting small coffee shops like grounds vs. going to Starbucks. I wouldn't call myself a coffee snob...that's pretentious...but I AM particular about my coffee. Some things I like, some things I don't and I'm always up for a recommendation when it's time for a change. With my usual place closed temporarily and needing espresso STAT I popped down to Grounds on the advice of trusted friends and it didn't disappoint! Right off the bat the Owner greeted me and it was like an old friend. Huge plus especially during a Pandemic when we are all starved from human contact. The menu is extensive and, you guessed it, I was in need of a recommendation I ended up with White Zombie Americanos (white choco, white coffee for 2 times the caffeine!!!) She even added a little blackberry. It was divine and the best part was the syrups are Monin so all flavor and no corn syrup or junk that I can't typically have anyway. Total pick me up and I swear it set the tone for my day! I'm excited to return with the kids as they have an extensive menu sure to please all including smoothies and teas. Non-dairy selections are spot on too with hemp milk and "the good" oat milk..if you've ever had oat milk you will know they are NOT all equal! I brought home some sweet treats to use as bribes for the kids I am now home schooling and everyone is happy today! My only regret is not trying this fabulous shop sooner. This was delicious!!! I got the raspberry and crème, a mystery Red Bull and a mystery lotus. I didn't order whip on my energy drinks and I am seriously regretting it. After receiving my drinks they were full to the brim with ice! I got two 24oz redbulls and after separating the drink into a different 24oz cup it didn't even reach half of the cup. I went on with my day, I went again today and got what I always get two 24oz redbulls. I paid almost $18 before tip and again got two drinks full to the brim with ice. I let her know that it was 90% ice and that I didn't pay that much for just ice. With attitude she told I didn't ask for light ice and then took the drinks back to take out some of the ice and fill the cups with club soda. now im left with two 24oz drinks that taste watered down. I absolutely love this place. Awkward location at an awkward intersection but it is sooooo worth it. I think "coffee co" doesn't even scratch the surface of what this amazing beverage stand is capable of delivering. During the toughest lockdown, we would pile our family of 5 into the car and drive here just to get our fun "treats". My husband and kids love the blended oreos and creme, creamcicles, reese's pb and cream. The baristas here do up these fantastical desserts in a cup piled high with whipped cream, oreos, mini reese's - whatever their creativity comes up with and it was such a needed bright spot in our days of lock down. I love the "pink pomegranate sunrise" (I think it's called) - made with lotus energy drink (an organic alternative to Red Bull) that even has peach slices floating in it. It was on Saturday 5/16 arrived at 11:45, one suv ahead of me, 4 other cars on the other side. OK they are busy must be good right?!? As I sit and wait with my daughter in the car, I see the other side as the 1st car left, 2 to 4 mins later another and another as I am still waiting .... being patient wait for a bit longer, then looked at my life 360 to see how long I have been there for, it was now 12:05 a whole 20 mins waiting with only one car at the window on the side I was on, like seriously what is going on??!!!
