Was so excited to try Dutch bros for the first time. Great stop on my way back home! Very tasty drinks

I am a frequent visitor at Dutch bros over the years and have had met some great workers and good service. I went to Dutch Bros today with my friends and we had placed three separate orders. ( we've done many times and ik they get many orders like that a day) after placing my order, we went up to the window and we're going to get charged out and the worker named Cyrus had a bad attitude and was extremely rude and eventually whispered under his breath " yeah let's go to Dutch Bros and place 15 different orders" ( placed 3 btw and they were not very busy) I get people have bad days, but this specific worker has always had a bad offputting attitude to the point where over the last year+ any time I have seen him in the window I have turned and gone to the Broadway location. Their other workers are lovely tho! :) read more

I was in town for less than 12 hours and needed to stop and get me some Dutch. Was greeted with a good morning and a smile. I shared some stories with the young man who was taking my order and was truly blessed with the best customer service. I love Dutch Bros. This Dutch Bros, just like any other of their stores that I've ever been to, is fantastic. there are lots of choices, (my favorite is the caramelizer), And The coffee is very good, at a fair price. The employees are very friendly and helpful, and even when there's a long line of cars, they get you through quickly. You can tell that the employees enjoy working here. You can also sign up through their app, and earn points toward free coffee. They can even sense when something is wrong, They will do everything they can to be helpful and provide words of encouragement. When my mom passed away, they were so compassionate, and they even gave me a free coffee. I tried to say no thank you, but they wouldn't take no for an answer. The people are wonderful. So why am I taking away a star? Here and every other Dutch Bros, there is a lot of waste. As part of their mission statement, "Sustainability: Dutch Bros is committed to reducing its environmental impact....." If your coffee is too hot? They don't offer you a simple sleeve, they give you a 2nd cup to put the 1st cup in. At any other coffee place except Dutch Bros, if I want to use my own mug, they will make my drink in my own mug, and some places will even give me a small discount. I don't care about the discount. Dutch Bros? They are not allowed to make my drink in my own mug. They have to physically hand me a cup, and then I pour it into my own mug myself. As I mentioned before, that is a lot of waste. All I'm going to do is just throw away the cup that I didn't even need in the first place. I love you guys, but please... you could work a bit on your environmental sustainability..... read more

dutch bros sucks i ordered a medium and they gave me a KID SIZE and i i'm very disappointed with them because i used my gift card for a medium and im 12 thats kinda a big deal they were to busy and to slow go fix it. And now that i'm coming back to this, I just tried it and they didn't even make it a hot chocolate they made it a mocha. read more

First, the server in the line saw brown folks in the car, and decided she was going to serve the vehicle in the other lane behind us and when she was told we were next, said "so you're ready to order though?" My husband asked for a 20 ounce coffee and was never once told it wasn't an option. When he got to the window and let them know, the guy said well, I can add it to a 20 ounce cup and add 4 ounces of milk. I go to this Dutch Bros a handful of times in a month. It's a stone's throw from my workplace and great if I'm looking to get a coffee in a pinch. The coffee is good, I typically just order a latte or Americano with occasional flavor shots. As a frequent customer, I recommend tasting your drink before you drive off. They miss my flavor shots/extra coffee shots quite often and the person handing you your drink (and repeating your order to you) usually isn't the one who made your drink. The staff is nice, your typical friendly Dutch Bros staff. Oh and no wall up window at this location. read more

Cute drive thru coffee shop. The person taking our drive thru order was very friendly and helpful. It was our first time at Dutch bros and we asked for recommendations on the drinks. The attendant was more than happy to suggest our drinks and what to order. We ordered a cold kicker and a hot annihilator from their Dutch classics, both with half sweet. Both the drinks were very tasty and different. We also took a muffin top. Choc chip. The best coffee place in Humboldt. Yes, they are a chain type establishment, but they are so much more than that. Every time I come here their baristas are sweet and professional. They always give me good recommendations and greet me with a smile. They offer great deals, such as free drinks on Mother's Day for mothers, $1 drinks for Cal Court members on Mondays, and they give out stamp cards and if you go here enough, you'll get a free drink! Highly suggest this place over somewhere stagnant like Starbucks. Prices here are great and affordable, unlike Starbuck's forty dollar mochashinofrappuchino in sizes that are some other foreign language haha. read more

I definitely love checking out a Dutch Bros any time I visit northern parts of California and this time around proved no different. I like coming here because the drinks are fun and the staff is friendly and always seem happy to answer your questions. In an effort to seem like locals, this time around we wanted to definitely try their secret menu (just google Dutch Bros secret menu and you get a list of 80 options). I just wanted to write a review for this location because of its employees - they were absolutely fantastic and put a smile on my face for the rest of my day. Growing up and living in southern California where there are no Dutch Bros, I was ecstatic when I moved up here for university and saw one when driving through Eureka, as I had always wanted to try Dutch Bros Coffee. I finally had a chance to try it today, and I was floored by how genuinely kind and helpful the employees were. I pulled up through the drive-thru to order, which they have an employee outside to place your order through a tablet a la In-N-Out style, and then you pull up for your coffee at the window. I was able to pay through the person who took my order by card. This is where I want to start my real review. Before I started ordering, I told the young woman that it was my first time that I had been to Dutch Bros. I felt a bit guilty because I almost always know what I want when I try someplace new because I take a look at the menu either through a company's website or through Yelp, just to make it easier on everybody. I came here on a whim when I saw it on the side of the road while I was driving and decided why the heck not. Anyways, I told her it was my first time to Dutch Bros and that I've always wanted to try it, and she was so excited to help me make my choice. Any question that I had she was able to answer, and she did with such a great and genuine attitude, and was so incredibly patient with all of my annoyingly simple questions. We finally placed my order, and then I pulled up to the window. At the window was a young man, and while waiting, he made some conversation with me. I'm not a small talker, by any means, so it was amazing how he was able to make me feel comfortable enough to actually engage me in a conversation. Since I'm not a small talker, there were pauses, but he was able to keep it going. He seemed genuinely kind and interested in getting to know his customers. Now, for the drink itself, I got a Cocomo (I had to look this up on their website to make sure what I got - which I highly recommend you visit because there are a ton of drinks on there that they simply cannot fit everything on the menu). It was just a mocha with coconut. I had that iced, and they asked me if I wanted to make it something that I forgot the name of, but it adds whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and caramel drizzle to your drink. I also didn't know that the iced drinks here were so huge, so I will be getting a smaller size next time. It was good, but certainly not the best coffee drink I've had. As for the people that helped me, it was a young woman with brown hair and glasses, and a young man with curly light brown hair and green eyes. Great service from you both, and thanks so much for putting a smile on my face, as someone had said something rude to me shortly before that, and I tend to focus on negative things like that. So! Today I NEEDED coffee, so I went to Dutch Bros and there is one guy (idk his name) always working I think! I ordered and he hands me my coffee and as I go to put it down, the lid comes off and you guessed it! Coffee all over me lap and floor board and window, everywhere! He says are you ok? And gets me a towel! And tells em to make another coffee! & he asks "how hot was that? " It was as bad as I imagined it would be Another employee comes and asked if I'm ok, I said yes this is just how my days been! She says well it can only get better right? This location was always one of my favorite spots, but in the past couple months the service has gotten really bad. Whenever we pull up to the window now it seems really scattered and unorganized, instead of the fun and friendly vibes a Dutch Bros normally has. No line on either side, drove right on up to the window, and my order was taken immediately...but the wait time on one drink was 15 minutes? We have also gotten the wrong drinks many many times recently. Both little mistakes on our order, but also giving us another customer's order. Luckily the baristas were really apologetic about it and will remake the drink as soon as they can. I really sympathize with those who are working in food/drink service during this pandemic, however the service here has unfortunately gone really downhill. read more

I always take my friends here and I LOVE their hot chocolate! Soooo f'in good my friend. I think they put some type of drug in it tho cuz it's too damn good to be real hot chocolate. When I moved to Humboldt several months ago I had never heard of Dutch Bros., but soon enough everyone and their best friend's dog were telling me about it. I even got to try some at a training seminar and it was OK. But I had never purchased it directly before, and I was intrigued by the drive-thru notion, so I tried it out. To be clear: I wanted one large black coffee. No cream, no milk, no unicorn madness. Just a plain, large, black coffee. Cost? $3.50! Oh hell no, Dutch Bros. That aint gonna work. I paid you that much for the privilege of sitting in line outside your little shack along the 101? What? And don't get me wrong, the coffee was decent, but not $3.50 decent. I can get similar quality for much, much less. Granted, if you're the type of person that likes your coffee all dolled up with any manner of sweeteners and the lie this may be a great place to get it, but for me I'll pass, thanks. read more

A business I will be coming back to, even after a little mix up with travel mugs! So, I have always been a fan of fun iced drinks and Dutch Bros hits the nail on the head with them. However recently, I purchased a travel mug and when I got home, I realized there was some writing and scratches on the bottom. I emailed customer support and they got back to me in less than 2 hours and had me in contact with the local owner who was happy to replace or refund my mug at this location. Not only did I get a new mug with a free drink, I also got a complimentary drink for my boyfriend and, as always, happy and fast service. Oh, my beloved, how you spoiled me! As I write this, I am sitting miserably in another brand-name cafe, drinking coffee that is nasty, sharp, acidic, and bitter in comparison to yours. While my car receives repairs I dream fondly of your blue windmills, wishing you were here. I had to move away, and I miss you like an old friend! Your barista/os are always so playful and happy, their smiles were as good a jump-start to my day as your delicious coffee. I remember once, the young man on staff was dancing behind the counter before he noticed me - being completely silly in earnest, and not ashamed. He made me laugh, and treated me like a guest, not just a customer, all the while grinning like a goof - and I say that with absolute love. The price was always right, rounded up to the quarter and tax included, so simple, so comforting! The majority of your drinks were under $4, even the special ones. The most expensive were less than $7 - and one kind of felt dared to try them. You never charged me extra for flavors or whipped creme, and made me feel like my drink was made special for me, because it was. Your rewards system made each visit a double pleasure, as I knew it would bring me a few stamps closer to the point where you would say "Wow... you sure love us, let us love you back, this one's on us." The day you open a booth in Monterey, California, I will pass out flyers at El Estero Park to let my neighbors know what a wonderful thing has happened! There are so many places I've been to in Humboldt that have nasty coffee, but Dutch Brothers has THE BEST coffee that I've ever tasted. They have smoothies, iced drinks, coffee, shakes etc. They never disappoint us. The staff is always upbeat and happy, it's evident that they love their job or maybe they just love customers! So glad we did, this place is quick and these guys know how to make a smooth cup of Joe. We tried three other locations once we hit Oregon, and they were all great.
