When there are long lines and you are taking orders down the long row it would Be GREAT if you could tell drivers to move their cars up so there aren't giant gaps between cars. Two cars were hanging out in the middle of the lane on 101. It could have caused a huge accident. This happens constantly and is so dangerous. I wish the people working here would assess the line and safety of the customers more instead of simply taking orders and not noticing what is going on around them. I'll skip spending money here daily so I don't get my car ruined due to the stupidity of the location of this establishment. read more

EXCELLENT SERVICE! As a coffee lover I am fairly particular about my morning beverages. Both of the Eureka, CA Dutch Bros. locations have exceeded my expectations of early morning customer service. I go to Dutch Bros. before work (7:30 a.m.) 2-3 times a week and they always remember me and greet me with a smile. They have since memorized my order and have it started for me when I get to the window. I love the employees and the atmosphere at this little drive through. I absolutely love Dutch Bros. coffee. I was so glad to see them here when I moved down from Portland. The baristas are always upbeat with the music going, which can be just a smidge annoying (for me, anyway) first thing in the morning, haha! But besides that, they are always helpful and friendly, which is great. My dog loooves coming with me through the drive-thru, the staff never forgets to give her a treat also! The white mocha is my usual drink, but the seasonal selections never disappoint either! read more

They are awesome. I've been going to this spot for a java fix for over 4 years, love it. They are consistent with other Dutch Bros, which makes it nice when traveling. They do have a lot of staff, but are careful with who they keep on. Everyone is really outgoing, friendly. If there is an issue worth a coffee ordered, they will fix it quickly and free. I love Dutch brothers but I tried to go to this one 2 times and sat in line for over 10 minutes watching a jar of peanut butter (which I can only assume never had any peanut butter in it) got passed back and forth. Both times I pulled out of line and went to the one down the road. I guess if you aren't looking for coffee this might be the right place to go.... Don't bother with this location. Worst customer service EVER. Ordered my drink and employee walked to other window and started taking other car's order before I could order my son's drink which caused another 5 to 10 minute delay in addition to waiting to reach the window. Then after we got our drinks and I as driving away I realized my drink was not sugar free as I ordered it. I'm diabetic so this matters a lot. After getting back in line I finally reached the window again and the young man didn't even apologize that my drink was made totally wrong or for the inconvenience. He just took a 5 bill out of the register and threw it at me. What a jerk! No offer to remake it and no apology for the inconvenience. I go to Dutch Brothers all the time and have been to locations throughout Arizona and California and have never experienced anything like this. Maybe it's time to go back to Starbucks where they at least have a basic understanding of customer service. The other Eureka location has been ok but I've also waited 10 min in line while the employee chats with folks at the window who already have paid and received their drinks. I used to go to Dutch Bros all the time and always felt that they had a great combination of drink quality and customer service. But recently I feel their service has declined. My partner and I went on Sunday July 5th around 3:00 and were not pleased with the experience. There was one car ahead of us, so it shouldn't have taken long, but we were made to wait while two of the employees took turns chatting with the customer. We could hear their conversation and it was inane small talk. Then, to make matters worse, when we finally got to the window the young lady didn't listen to us order and asked details about our drinks that we had clearly stated mere seconds before. She was chatty and bubbly, but I would rather have someone more interested in my drink order and less interested in how I spent my weekend. I think they need to work on balancing speed and efficiency with seeming friendly and engaged. If there is a car waiting, timeliness should be a priority. On the plus side, our drinks were delicious. read more
