It's nice to have it in town and support something more Humboldt and local than a global conglomerate. We didn't experience the staff issues some previous reviews mentioned. I bought a dozen macarons from Fortune Macarons as part of a Mother's Day gift. Let me tell you,…read morethey were the best macarons I've ever had. I ordered the blueberry, mango, and pistachio. The mango was my favorite. The cookies were perfectly baked with that quintessential smooth firm and shiny outside but still had a light and soft textured inside. It was the perfect combination of crunch and chewy. A generous amount of a decadent fruit filling was sandwiched between between two cookies. The filling was silky and rich and brought the combination of textures all together to create a pleasant mouth feel. The flavor choices were plentiful and each one made you wished that real fruit and nuts tasted like the macaron. The size of the macrons are one of the biggest I have ever bought. Each one was about three bites opposed to other places where you can pop the whole thing in your mouth. Lastly the colors of all three flavors I chose were so vibrant and pretty. They made a beautiful Mother's Day gift for my mother in law. She loved them so much she bought six more a few days later Fortune Macaron was so accommodating they offer delivery but since I lived down the street I decided to pick them up at my convenience. They also took my mother in laws second order on the weekend and they said they could have them ready when I asked for them. I will be back to buy more and try the other flavors!

Guy went to the back came back less than 5 mins and tossed a bag on the scale tied it up and charged us. We get home they were absolutely not trimmed and covered in silver skin, and globs of fat. If you're a butcher you don't leave silver skin on meat like that. We trimmed the meat and as it was a full pound lighter we decided to season and cook it. We cooked it like we always cook our tri tips (usually from Costco) and this meat was so chewy it was absolutely not choice grade meat. Never again will we go to springville meat co.

I have a chronic horrible case of Lyme disease which I have lived with for many decades now. It completely debilitates me. Jill's treatments are magic for my body. They give my system a chance to clear the neurotoxins that build up in me. I can walk into her office truly suffering and come out having regained a remarkable level of vitality. It blows me away. She uses a gravity-fed water system which is sooo much more gentle and effective than the machine-fed systems in my experience. She also incorporates essential oils and is willing and skilled at palpating the belly if you are comfortable with that. Not all practitioners will offer this. I find it deepens the cleanse and so helps the colon to release especially if it is atonic or sluggish. She can literally help your colon not only release but tonify so it works better going forward. Win-win. Jill is a doll. She's easy-going, wise, earthy, fun, compassionate, and she walks her talk health and lifestyle-wise.  Being with her for an hour is part of the treatment. Breath of fresh air, she inspires me to live while I'm alive and be my best self. Her space reflects that too. It's super clean and beautifully decorated, classy and cozy. I come all the way from Piercy each time and it's worth every mile. Needless to say, I highly recommend WholesomelyU.
