Wow. I was so disappointed! The nachos had a tiny sprinkle of cheese, nothing else. The grilled cheese wasn't at all worth the price. The sandwiches were fine. I asked if I could get a kids scoop split into more than 1 flavor, she said "you can do 3 flavors!" I expected a tiny scoop of 3 different flavors of ice cream, for $3 or $4. She hands me a giant cone with a pint of ice cream in it and says "that will be $10" ok, wow... I paid and had to throw most of it out. I love supporting local businesses. Fun lunch stop with both homemade ice cream and sandwiches. My daughter and I had the grilled cheese w chives that was oohey gooey goodness. Others had a turkey pesto pre made and a wonderful berry ice cream. My wife had a fantastic ham and Swiss croissant. All the dairy and meats come from the family farm. Stupendous & delicious ice cream! They know what they're doing. All the ice creams we tried were crazy creamy & yummy. We got a large one scoop in a cone for $5. It was just right. It's a small shop, with a wonderful staff, it could easily be overwhelmed with a lot of people so you gotta have patience. It's definitely worth the 3 minute stop off the 101 hwy. There's even a park across the street to hang out in and a free little library to check out. Love, love, love this place! Always a stop when up in this area. Every ice cream flavor is great, but the strawberry is my favorite. You can also get some great baked goods here, sandwiches and even some soups. They have gifty items like shirts, jams and candy along with the ability to get fresh milk, eggs and meats. First of all, I'm glad I didn't just go home, but somebody mentioned that I should stop by and try this place. I tried the caramel and danish butter cookie. The caramel one tasted like those little square candies you buy and Christmas. Both flavors were cool and thick and creamy. I will def be back to try some other flavor. I was already headed to the freeway off ramp for a different purpose. We wandered down to the location. We went in. My wife liked the baked goods they had. I do love a good local business and this place claims that award all around. We stopped in around lunch time and tried the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Green Onions and it was pretty delicious. More so than I thought a grilled cheese could be. There was a variety of drinks in the cooler but I think the best part was indeed the ice cream. I echo the previous review in saying that the ice cream here is the creamiest ice cream I have ever had and it was so delicious and satisfying! I 110% recommend stopping in and tasting all the flavors. We will be back next time we come through town... or maybe sooner since it's only 15 minutes from Eureka. read more

I saw that they have started packaging their ice cream when I stopped at my local Chevron I was ready to drown my sorrows in a pint of my favorite ice cream mint chip. Unfortunately this recipe isn't there yet. Someone got way too heavy-handed with the mint extract giving this confection a medicinal edge, and most disappointing the chocolate is either Dusty invisible particles or giant chalky flavorless chunks. I enjoyed my food and ice cream today. The ice cream was creamy and delicious. However there were some things that could have been approved on. 1) definitely need to have a name or number system for the food. Many people thought food was theirs when it wasn't. And some people had their food come out much later, mostly because others grabbed theirs. 2) it would be nice if you offered a sorbet/egg free option on the regular. I had seen the offering a different week and when we came today that wasn't one of the options. Which was disappointing because my kiddo with an egg allergy couldn't have any of the ice cream options. If you can definitely implement option 1 you'll be likely to have many repeat customers.
