An adorable roadside stop in Myers Flat with good tasting cappuccino. I wish I ordered a large cup for the road. The taste is not watered down unlike some big corporate coffee shop. The place is cute with Knick knacks. I bought a small guitar-shaped spoon for my raw sugar at home. The girl who helped us said they get their fresh grinds every morning. I believe it. When I'm back in the area, it's a go-to, stop-there place.

Read other negative reviews, but decided to stop by anyway for our caffeine fix. We didn't encounter the surly barista; rather we were greeted by a nice young lady who was nothing but pleasant. I ordered green tea and JL ordered his standard chai latte. Both came out piping hot, which worked out well for our trek on the road. The walls were also loaded with lots of knick knacks and funny signs. On the downside, there aren't any restrooms, no WiFi, and it's cash only. Boo! You still have the option of buying something at the market next door and getting cash back. Plus, you get to people watch folks coming in from the campsite next door. A feast for all of the senses.

This is honestly my favorite coffee shop in California. I visit here every time I make a trip up the coast, and it always brings back warm memories from visiting it over the years. Sluggish mornings camping, and some hot coffee to brush off the post-sleeping-bag chills. The coffee is excellent, and I always buy a bag for home - and I'm the worst kind of coffee snob, so it's a rarity to find a cup of joe that I actually really love. From the mouth of my boyfriend, they also have the best chai latte he's ever had (and he's had a LOT of them, as we make frequent road trips). It's a great little spot, and has been a wonderful experience each time I've been.

Great coffee! Great coffee! Great coffee! But I tried to order some coffee beans online and didn't get a response.

Extremely rude and unprofessional owner. Yells at customers. I guess he got some anger issues. Avoid this place like a plague.

You will be given a ticket with a 4-digit code plus a separate code for the bathroom. The gift shop also serves coffee and some food items and has a separate room in the back that serves as a dispensary. Yes! This is Humboldt County after all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If driving along Highway 101 towards Avenue of the Giants, it's pretty hard to miss seeing The One Log House, located next door to the Grandfather Tree. It's made from a 2100 year old gigantic redwood tree in crafted in 1946. It took 8 months to gut and hollow out the room and is 7-feet high and 32-feet long. I was able to walk inside nicely (I'm 5'2" hehehe). The log house toured the US in its early years until it settled in Redwood Country in 1999. Inside is just like a home complete with a kitchen, bedroom and living space. It seemed a perfectly livable residence. But anyway, there's the kitchen complete with various spices and salt, a breakfast nook, dual beds, reading tables, bench, books and magazines. I couldn't resist stepping in to check it out. One Log House is nestled in the heart of the Redwood forest. Worth the stop. Review #2512

2 of 2 Yelp reviews…read more Quality/Quantity - A suggestion from Humboldt Bay Provisions and a home run! Today we got the following: Spicy Garlic Chicken Fries - #1 seller, so I have to try. Boy have I been eating so unhealthy on this trip, but you know that because you are following. Is that part of the reason I am having so much fun? This did not disappoint. I did not think it was very spicy, but my daughter said it was too spicy for her. Good thing she ordered the mild version of garlic chicken; see below. Decent portions. Garlic Chicken - A more mild version of the above. But with rice and mac rather than fries. A slightly healthier version. Ahi Poke Bowl - My wife's choice. Generous portions, especially the tuna; thank you. Because this is raw, we "forced" ourselves to finish this dish first. So good. And to wash it down, supporting local, Sticky Finger IPA. Ambiance - Small local business. The food truck was parked in the rear of the building. Due to the rain, I did not take pictures. Plenty of mall parking. Open 5 days a week, 11:30am to 7pm; closed on Monday and Tuesday. Service - Counter service. Overall okay. Price - $62 + tip. Reasonably priced as we pretty much took an entree to-go. We are light eaters. Owner Comment - Aloha, congrats on your success since 2017; we will be back!

The macaroni salad is amazing and I am still drooling over the Teri bbq chicken. I haven't been inside the restaurant yet, but the food is GOOD. I have been to the food truck and it's good there too, the only downside is the food wasn't heated up evenly and I got cold spots in the chicken, luckily it wasn't icy! If the line wasn't so crazy I would have asked for more heat up. Can't wait to eat in person soon!
