The homemade sauce that came with them was absolutely delicious. For drinks, I had the Chef's Sweet Heat Lemonade mocktail. It had just a hint of jalapeño that gave it a little heat without being overpowering -- delicious! My husband had the Arnett Gold mocktail, which was also very good. For our meal, we both had the fish and grits with sides of okra and greens. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. We enjoyed every part of our meal! Our waitress, Mirian, was wonderful -- friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We ordered chicken wings as an appetizer and also received an order of the hush puppies. Both were good. For our mains, we tried Shrimp and Grits, Fish and Grits, a chicken dish, with sides of greens and Mac n cheese. The Mac n Cheese is some of the best restaurant Mac n Cheese I've had. The Main dishes were good as well. One thing I'd say is that one dish was ready about 10-15 minutes before the other dishes so that was a bit awkward. However, I'm excited to see how they do as time goes on!

In the summer when the the ice cream parlor is a popular place to get a cone and then sit or walk in the Canal park.
