We traveled for 5 hours to Durango in order to look at a used car , a red Subaru Outback, that was available. We called that morning to make sure that the car we wanted was still waiting for us and we were assured that it would be waiting when we got there. Later ,when in cell phone range, we called again and were told that the car had been sold !!!! We were really surprised that they had promised a car and knew we were driving 5 hours to see it and then sold it. Well then they told us another car had JUST arrived that day that was similar (not really) to the used Subaru we were interested in ..When we got there, after 4 hours of waiting and filling out forms and setting up payments, we drove the car back to Crested Butte.. My daughter drove the car 18 miles a day for 9 months . We were about due for an oil change, when the car threw a rod and we found out that we need a NEW ENGINE !! Our mechanic said that they sold us a car with a bad engine and the valve guides were worn out . Durango Motors says there's was no way they would have known that.. Our guess is that they were in a big hurry to replace the car they sold out from under us with the one that had just come in that day.. It is as clear as the nose on our faces..very obvious.. Sadly, we can do nothing about it and Durango Motors is NOT HELPING US TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM THAT IS THEIR BAD....THIS COMPANY HAS NO INTEGRITY AND IS DISHONEST AND THEY KNOW WE CAN DO NOTHING...So..we have to replace the whole engine in this car that they sold us TO THE TUNE OF 7000 DOLLARS.. I began my quest for a gently used 2016 King Ranch truck and happened upon Durango Motor Company on Cars. com with a listing for a 2016 F150 King Ranch with just 9750 miles. But living near Denver would require me to drive 6 hours to Durango, surely I could locate something closer and avoid the drive I kept telling myself. But the more I talked with Aliona, Nate and Mike at the dealership, I realized that they were not the typical car dealership and I needed to make the trip. They have a simple philosophy , list a no haggle best price on their vehicles, and eliminate that back and forth negotiating that most everyone dislikes. From first point of contact to the day I purchased, I was handled with the upmost honesty and respect. I went to a local dealership in Denver to compare the price on a similarly outfitted vehicle and the salesman said" there must be something wrong with that truck in Durango for them to have it priced so low". Arriving in Durango and seeing my new truck I can unequivocally tell you the local Denver dealer was dead wrong, my new truck is perfect as indicated over the phone. To give you further proof of the thoughtfulness of Durango Motor Company, knowing I was driving in and staying the night, they took the liberty of making dinner reservations at a top rated restaurant in the area since it is so difficult to get a Saturday night table before 9pm. True Class from all involved including the final sit down with the finance manager, Bryan , as he explained in detail the loan agreement. Clayton was great with customer service, and the master tech there (Jeremy) quickly determined what two other 'normal' auto techs failed to diagnose- that I needed to replace the entire front axle, not just the left CV (which I had gotten done in Denver). Afterward I found that the front right 4WD locker was very hard to rotate, so I took it back in. Jeremy informed me that the plastic part similar to an o-ring was not a normally serviceable part, but that he would try an o-ring and do the fix free of charge. It works excellent now, and he even did the other side too, also free. So my experience is that it is while you may pay a bit less at a local mechanic, dealerships tend to do better work, and these guys were stellar ultimately. My wife and I recently purchased a 2016 4-runner from Durango Motor Company and the whole experience was excellent. The salesman (Evan) was very knowledgeable about the product which shows the dealership trains their employees instead of trying to b.s. their way through a sale. Having worked for car dealerships in the past, that was appreciated. The sales manager was appreciated for the information in regards to our buying power and credit rating that he provided. One of the best parts of the experience is while working with the finance department, we just stayed at the salesmen's desk and filled out the paperwork as opposed to waiting for ever to go into some office and talk to another person. We love our red 4-runner "Trail Edition" and even though we live an hour away with a Toyota dealership in town, we will be taking it to Durango for all the servicing! read more

Watch out for these guys on their Internet site. They claim to be practicing a best pricing policy, in fact they are bait and switching by adding unnecessary services at expanded cost ($99 N filled Tires) and not acknowledging that they are incorporating Manufacturer's rebates into their "best pricing structure". On used cars they add unnecessary services (N filled tires at $99) and unnecessary documentation costs in addition to the "best" price. I have found the "Internet service manage" Matt Patton and the salesman Taryan Smith to be ineffectual and unresponsive . In summary Do Not deal with these folks on the Internet, if you can stomach face to face go ahead, but watch your back. I can't tell you how pleased we are with our experience at Durango Motors. We had a trip planned to Denver to purchase a new vehicle and decided to just go look around in Durango. At first we were put off by their business model of no bartering. Patrick was our salesman and he explained to us so that we understood very well. Everyone that we met went above and beyond making sure we were completely satisfied. We had a couple of issues today, two weeks after our purchase, and were offered an immediate appointment with service and they were able to resolve our issues with no cost to us. My daughter needed a good, reliable car after going all winter without a heater and having her first baby, my first grandbaby. We bought a Toyota - was told it passed inspection and there was a 3 month/3000 mile warranty on the car - the warranty says powertrain and major parts. The first time we had problems was 30 days - no power going up hills. After many calls, waiting and finally getting an appointment to which my daughter was CHARGED a diagnosis fee she was told to leave the car there for the day. She's a teacher and you know that's tough to work around. It went in, she was without a car for two days and it was fixed after a disgruntled agreement by the service manager. The second time - 78 days in - the car starts rattling upon start, and gets worse when the A/C is turned on. My daughter gets an appt about 30 miles before the 3000 deadline, and PAYS FOR THE DIAGNOSIS again only to be told this isn't covered, it's a major part but not part of the warranty and powertrain....and really the service manager sounds like he's pretty tired of people trying to make appointments for their car to be serviced. My daughter is a first year teacher, the cost to repair this is half her monthly paycheck. She has a daughter - I thought they would see that this is really an issue that goes back to their original word that they stand behind their sale. This was the most disappointing and frustrating experience I've ever had. I've ONLY ever dealt with Don Chalmers in ABQ - may he rest in peace; but never had to deal with this multitude of excuses, irresponsibility, and people who don't really care about their reputation. I'll never buy here again. I'm in the marker for my other daughter who just graduated high school and I'll gladly drive four hours to Don Chalmers to get something that I know I'll be extremely satisfied with and where the employees won't jack me around if something goes wrong with the car. read more

Not a good experience with Durango Ford. Our 2yr old F250 started having issues while we are visiting Ouray Co on vacation. One of the front brake calipers hung up and ruined the brake rotor. The service rep said its common to see front brakes go out on F250's with under 50k miles? Really?? I could have understood if I had been abusing the brakes and both sides were shot, but only one side was bad? Drivers side was completely gone and the passenger side still had half the pad. (the service rep swore both side were bad, but it was obvious the front tires were never removed to allow for proper inspection) The truck is still under warrantee but when the tech couldn't duplicate the other two issue they said it was fine and charged me service time even though they didn't fix anything. The quote to replace the front brakes and to tell me they couldn't diagnose the other two problems - both of which started back malfunctioning within 5 miles of leaving the dealership was $780.00. We know dealers are more expensive than independent shops but over 2x the amount? I fixed it myself for $180 but would have been happy to pay $400-450 to not have to mess with it on vacation. Also beware it says on the webpage they are open to 7pm but that is only sales. The service department closes at 6pm. We rode the Silverton train and didn't get back until 6:15 but the doors were locked by then. By luck one of the salesman was able to find someone in service that was still doing paperwork and he was able to check me out and give me my keys or we would have been stuck paying for a hotel room since our cabin was 2 hrs. away. Luckily the truck made it back home and the local dealership is fixing the issues they couldn't diagnose under warrantee. I am filing a complaint with Ford on why I was charged service time when they could not duplicate a simple issue on a truck still under warrantee. To sum it up I am not mad they were more expensive than independent shops, but I don't like to be lied or charged for services not preformed. read more

I selected this place because they claimed to be "haggle free" and "no pressure". I've been searching for a 2014 Mustang GT Premium with a GT Track Pack. They didn't have one so they said they can locate one. I was conversing with my salesman over the phone and emails. I made it clear that this whole deal hinges with what they can give me for my trade. I've had my trade appraised with 2 other dealers and 3 reputable online appraisals. I had driven an hour to get there and I finally met my salesman for the first time, he seemed to be easy going and the whole atmosphere seemed to be easy going. I was thinking that I might finally be able to make a deal! The salesman looked over my trade and took some notes and offers me coffee. He asked me if I was interested in filling out a credit application and it would cut down the paperwork, besides, I was thinking that we'd make a deal anyway. I filled out the application and gave it to the salesman and I continued to wait. It was about 40 mins now and I'm getting tired from waiting and my salesman finally comes back...then he gets a call from the manager. It's been about an hour now and my salesman and his manager come walking in my direction. I already knew the "closer" tactic and was ready for him. I already started to get that feeling that I was going go get low-balled. The manager showed me the price from True Car and he said he could beat it by a thousand dollars...I was thinking great! Then he started to show me my payments, which was significantly higher than what I'm paying now, why? I have impeccable credit, and the last time I checked it was 825! I should qualify for a lower APR and better terms plus a lower payment. I asked for my trade in value and he came in two thousand dollars lower than I requested. I realize they are a business and they're in it for profit but what I was asking for was't unreasonable and it was a fair trade value. I knew what I could get for it through private sale and what they'll sell it for. Regardless if they took the trade to the auction and it sold for under what they paid for, it's their own fault for using the auction...which is like gambling anyway. I told the manager what I wanted and he tried to explain what "actual cash value" meant. Then he asked if I loved how the car and how it drove....I said what do you mean? You guys don't have the car. The car is at another dealership and you guys said that you can get it. I said that they're not the only dealer that can order cars from other dealerships. I've spoken to other dealerships that are 8 hours away and they have the car and they are selling it thousand dollars cheaper than what Durango Motor Company is asking for. I guess he thought that I was bluffing and he said who is this dealer and what did they quote. I said I'll do better than that and I showed him an email from that dealer and they were willing to give me what I was asking for my trade. I said that I could easily use my company's X-Plan and get it much cheaper but I don't want to make the drive. The manager tries to justify the thousand dollar difference and said that it'll only be about $13 difference. I then reminded them that this whole deal hinges on what I'm getting for my trade and that I don't think that we should talk any further if he can't give me what I was requesting for my trade. Then he finally says that he won't budge on the price, "I won't go a penny more" was his exact words. I asked for my keys and they didn't know where they were...typical, I knew this was going to happen. A word of advice to anyone who is reading this, always ask for your keys back before any negotiations is started, it make things awkward when your waiting for your keys. The manager walks out and I walk outside too, waiting for my keys. It's that awkward silence when I'm standing outside with my salesman and I just apologized that a deal couldn't be made. I said I know it's out of his control and that the negotiation is handled by the manager. I checked inside my vehicle and my keys are in the cup holder, so I hop right on in and take off. I wasted 3 hours and a quarter tank of gas on this trip. If you ask if I'll go back to Durango for a Ford, I'd say no....I feel that they didn't live up to their "Haggle Free and No Pressure" atmosphere. read more

Saturday, August 6, 2016 - My daughter wanted to trade her 2014 Ford Focus. We called the dealership in Durango (we're from Farmington) and worked a great deal over the phone. (My daughter had done her homework - Durango Motor Company had the best prices on their new lot-cars both in southern Colorado and New Mexico). Martin Smiedt was a great sales person, had a good deal ready for us when we arrived at 3:30. We looked at the car we had been negotiating - a beautiful 2016 Toyota Corolla LE ECO Premium in pearl white - and the deal was sealed. We also really liked our Finance guy too but I can't remember his name! (So sorry). My daughter, on her own, qualified for 0% down and ended up with $219 payments - great for a single working girl! Great experience - we we're out the door by 5:45. Fastest, easiest and one of the better car deals I've ever made. Thank you Durango Motors. It's probably not the best way to purchase a car (over the phone) but it really worked out well for us and saved us HOURS of time! read more

They were very helpful and knew what we were looking for before we arrived. Our experience from the time we walked into the door was first class. The best analogy that I have is walking into a friends home where we felt welcomed and respected. Everyone was friendly and we never felt like the adversary. Not only did we save several thousand dollars over a near by competitor but our car buying experience was awesome. This was our 4th new Toyota over the past 25 years. Back in August I was looking for a 4Runner to buy. I talked to not one not two but three people about 4Runners, this is because no one would EVER call me back or return emails. So finally Martin got back to me when I had to go up there. I told him what I was looking for and left. I kept an eye on the site and found EXACTLY what I wanted. Called up there told a lady I will be up after work she said okay then turned around and sold it no biggie. Talked to Martin again and told him to order me a 4Runner in August. So I thought he was ordering the 4Runner went up put $500 down and left. Well after constantly calling and leaving messages with no call back I got upset and FINALLY got a hold of Martin. Well turns out he never ORDERED the 4Runner. I got upset told him that he needs to get it done or I will call Albuquerque. He never called back I found exactly what I was looking for called Martin back and told him I found the 4Runner I was wanting and send my money back. He then proceeded to belittle me over the phone so I hung up and he called back leaving a horrible message on my voice-mail. Then the manager calls me and tells me that I need to just wait and not go to Albuquerque that they will find the 4Runner I want and that they looked at the site for the place I found my 4Runner and proceeded to tell me that it wasn't even on their lot, which by the way I talked to the dealer in Albuquerque and it just got to their lot when the DMC manager called. I was and still am extremely unhappy with that place they call a "dealership". I went there because my parents bought their Avalon from them and thought they would do me right. Boy was I wrong. Every time I drive by there it makes me angry. I will NEVER recommend anyone to that place. I am extremely satisfied with my 4Runner from Larry H Miller in Albuquerque. Learned a lesson, a hand shake and someone's word doesn't matter. Better get it in writing. We drove over 4 hrs, and rented a car. We were told by one manager that the yellow road paint (all 4 tire wells and both running boards) would be taken care of since that damage wasn't included into the price. After the rental car was returned, the money transferred, the credit scores ran, and the paperwork done, we were told to speak with another manager about how to handle the repairs/replacements. He YELLED at us, said that he wasn't going to put out money. At this point what does one do? Drive home in the dark, and be angry at yourself. Everyday I get to look at my mistake. A big beautiful shiny vehicle with bright yellow road paint. I went and spoke with four different body/paint/detaining shops. All told me that using chemicals to remove paint is bad on the clear coat, and with mag-chloride dumped on the roads I would end up with rust. The best option was to re-paint the tire wells and replace the running board caps ($900-$2100) for the repairs. Expect nothing less than the customer service we received. Excellent experience. I'd been looking for a year and Annie made the car purchase SUPER pleasant. She was communicative, knowledgeable, and respectful of my time (getting me in and out quickly, while still being patient with my requests/needs). I really didn't think I would ever have a good car experience and this was it. I even came from out of town and it went seamless. She even took me to a body shop to get a second opinion on some repainting concerns I had (which ended up being unwarranted afterall). It's nice to have someone you can trust and this is how I felt with the experience at DMC. Also want to mention a great process with Jake (and Noland) in Finance as well. The financing element in the car buying experience is always a nightmare, with the back and forth, waiting forever for an answer, negotiating, etc. . . Well, DMC doesn't haggle I found out, but the price was the best I'd found (. .. .and again I'd been looking for a year) and Jake was FAST. He asked me a few questions. I answered them - and then I was done. I had to ask him again if we were REALLY done, and he assured me that we were. I was stunned. Thanks DMC! read more

I've dealt with the previous dealership (new country) and the new dealership (Durango motor company). Let me say this right away. Nothing has changed. The service department is terrible. I walked in and wasn't greeted by anyone. I walked up to a service person that was available. He didn't seem eager to help. I explained to him that my car, that is only two years old and still under warranty was in need of minor repair. He explained that he thought my car isn't under warranty and that I would have to pay for the repair myself. He never took the time to check even though I bought my car at this dealership. They don't care about their customers at all. When I walked in a gentleman was knocking on the garage door asking to be let in to the express lube. Nothing's changed but the name. Take your business elsewhere as I will begin to do. read more

While the sales people are friendly at Durango Value cars, they did not to right by us. We were interested in a car, did all the steps we were told to do to put it on hold, they didn't let us put it on hold or test drive it because it was wet from detailing but a few hours later they sold it to someone else without even calling us. They may have no-haggle pricing but it is on the high side and the pitch means nothing if they won't give you a fair chance to do what buy a car that you had been asking them about for two days. Found a perfect vehicle advertised at $29,390 with an internet "special" price of $27,390. I live 300 miles away and was obviously hesitant about making a purchase without a test drive so I texted with Travis and Martin regarding the vehicle. They sent pictures and were helpful with my questions. I inquired about the "special" price of $27,390 as I wanted to make sure it was "valid" before getting the airline ticket and Martin acknowledged that it was. The next day as I was making arrangements with my bank and airline asked for the bottom line total (tax, fees, D&H, etc) based on the agreed to sales price of $27,390. Martin hesitated and then replied that there had been a mistake and that they could not sell the vehicle for our agreed to price. He said that management had informed him that cars.com (where I found it) had made a mistake and that it was not their fault. I let him know that I had the printout of the $27,390 sales price on their letterhead as well as his text agreeing that the price was indeed correct to no avail. His manger Dan then called, not to correct their mistake and make it right, but to again deflect it upon cars.com even though I have written evidence of the agreed to price outside of their website. No matter what I said he wouldn't honor their advertised sales price. Integrity and honesty are two words I would not use to describe this dealership's advertising techniques and sales practices. Bottom Line - AVOID. read more

We went to this location based on our insurances recommendation for a hassle free insurance claim. Would NOT recommend this location! Extremely poor quality of service. Had vehicle for over a month, put abundance of unnecessary miles on vehicle unexplained, emptied gas tank, made to pay for part of repairs ourselves and the never ending excuses. I dealt with the service department, body shop, supervisors and GM. Finally upon receiving my vehicle back my Toyota did not receive an alignment even though it was involved in a front end collision. Throughout above terrible experience we decided to give this location a second try, after all "stuff happens". Upon speaking to GM they were unable to work with our schedule on returning for an alignment even though we are an hour drive from their location. A one hour service has now cost them this customer, a terrible review and hopefully all who declines going to this location after reading about our unfortunate experience. read more

I went to buy a new 4Runner from this "establishment" over a year ago. Let me tell you, I was HIGHLY dissatisfied! I began by doing the cars.com and it sent me to these people. I stated what I wanted and I was sent to 2 people over the phone from this "establishment", yes 2! And neither one had any answers for me. So I went up there to talk to someone, and out walks Martin.... He let me test drive, he tried to talk me out of a 4Runner being that it is "too big for me" he said. Then I told him what I wanted and he said he would get right on it and find me what I wanted. I left feeling eh about the whole deal. I waited a week to hear from him, nothing and every time I called, Martin was rude to me saying that he will get to it as soon as he can. He then said that the Manager would only allow him to look if I left a deposit of $500. So I left a deposit thinking that Martin and the Manager would get on it right away. HA was I wrong! They still gave me the run around and still no word from ANYONE about a 4Runner. I had enough and called Albuquerque to see if they could find a 4Runner that I was wanting. And WOW! Did Larry H. Miller of Albuquerque not only find me a 4Runner but ensured that it was there that same night I talked to a lady at 9:00 am. It amazes me that, DMC is the lowest and most competitive prices but cannot find a vehicle you are looking for. When I called ABQ at 9:oo am, told them what I wanted and they called me back at noon stating that they found a truck I was asking for and will have it that night on their lot ready for me the next day. And people, that was a Friday and I got my truck a year ago today. Durango couldn't even work with me for 2 1/2 months to find me a 4Runner in a certain color and ABQ found one in half a day. And when I called to get my deposit back, Martin and the Manager were extremely rude to me and stated that I was wrong with going with ABQ, and ABQ was $3,000 less than Durango. I will NEVER I repeat NEVER go to them for a vehicle. My family, who buys a lot of Toyota's stated they will not go to that "place". It was a disgrace, disappointment and horrible experience. And for a sales man, Martin to be so rude to a customer NUMEROUS times, is not okay at all! My advice go to ABQ for a vehicle. Not Durango Motor Co and especially not to Martin! read more

Steer clear. Wasted my time and were dishonest. Made an appointment for a known safety recall and mentioned the area in question was also making noise. Never got a phone call or an estimate, so called them up and they said recall was done and noise was two rear bearings which had been fixed. Went to pick up the car to find the recall was not done and the service charge was for a spin around the block which I assumed would be routine after completing recall repairs, nothing was replaced. This after the person at the desk specifically told me after repeated questioning that the rear hubs had been replaced (I questioned him given the low price.) They then told me the recall wasn't done because they didn't have the parts, which was specifically what I made the appointment for in the first place. Without prompting, he also mentioned that my car had passed a "multipoint inspection" which must not be much given the sway bar end links were completely sheered off at the time. In fairness, they did remove the service charge but left me with bad taste in my mouth and no confidence in the service department. I will not return. read more

I took my new black F150 Lariat in for its first oil change at 2700 miles recently and had a very poor experience. I'm so disappointed!!! I normally let poor service slide anywhere I go, but I'm angry that the service team was so careless and sloppy. My husband told me to wait until he had time to change the oil, but I didn't listen. We're planning a big road trip and the oil change was one of many things on the list to get ready. Anyway, some background... my husband had just installed a black Weather Tech bug/rock guard on the hood the week before I brought the truck in for the oil change. We also had researched the tires for appropriate PSI levels for when towing and not towing and just 5 days prior to the appointment, we had set inflation at the recommended 35 psi per the doorjamb sticker and tire specs. They were around 33 so very little adjusting needed then. So last Thursday morning, I pull up to the Express Lube for an oil change and each of the two bays is 3 cars deep already at 7:15am. So I knew it would not be express service but was okay with that. When the guy checked me in, he said it would be about 1.5 hours and they didn't really have time for car washes so I was okay with that also ...even though I had a coupon for a free wash with my service. I really only wanted an oil/filter change but they did all these other checks also like filters, fluids and tires and then charged me $94 less a $5 service coupon I had. About 30 minutes after I went in to the lounge to wait, I realized I forgot to specify that I wanted synthetic blend oil used. So, noticing my truck was still 3rd in line, I went out to the group of servicers in the bay standing around the car they were working on at the time, found the guy that checked me in and gave him my specific request for synthetic blend oil. He said no problem, he would make sure that a blend oil was used on my truck. So I went back to lounge to wait. About 9:00 a different servicer came to talk to me to say that they put in the wrong oil anyway, and they were in process of changing it out to the synthetic blend and it would be another 30 minutes. But I didn't get too excited and was glad that someone had even checked to make sure b/c I would not have known otherwise. So about 9:30 or so, a different servicer, Paul, came to get me to tell me my vehicle was ready. He went over the checklist of what they did in service and said that everything looked good and they just topped off some fluids. Being it only had 2700 miles, it was as expected. He did not mention that they put any air in the tires and I didn't expect him to since we had just made sure it was at the sticker psi of 35. (There is a nice tire pressure reading that displays in the truck dash by tire if I select the option to view it.) So I pay for the service and am on my way to go to work and then home. The next morning, before leaving my house with the truck, my husband says he wants to check the work they did. Right away, he noticed the hood guard was bent back on the hood and looked broken. So he lifted the truck hood and saw that the screws were falling out and the rubber seal on the edge of the hood was all twisted up from the guard being pulled out. So he took the hood guard off the rest of the way to examine the rubber seal and hood paint. The hood guard scratched up the hood from laying on it and pressure probably from gripping. My husband tried to buff out the scratches but to no avail. It's permanent. He re-attached the rubber seal on the hood which fortunately was not ripped. Then he inspected the oil change work and noticed that the service guys had spilled oil on about 1/3 of the manifold cover. So he cleaned that mess up. Then he checked the cap to make sure it was screwed on correctly and it was not. So my husband re-attached the cap correctly. Then on Sunday I happen to check the tire pressure display and noticed it was 43-44 psi per tire! So they obviously inflated the tires beyond what we had them set at which was the 35 psi recommended pressure for regular driving conditions. Even I know how to read a doorjamb sticker for tire pressure. Where is the customer care, quality and attention to detail in this service department? Are these important elements of car service even covered in training and subsequently monitored? Such basic stuff got so messed up! I am not comfortable going there again for service (not that my husband would agree again anyway), so for the more complex service needs, I guess we will have to drive an hour to the next nearest Ford servicer for the duration. Oil changes at home. FYI... I did call the service manager to inform him of my experience for the sake of other customers and he offered to have the paint & body shop on site repaint the hood. Not sure yet if we'll do that. read more

If there is one thing I seriously dislike, it's buying a car. I hate car dealerships. In fact, I would rather have my wisdom teeth pulled again, or get another vasectomy than step foot into a car dealership. The last time I was in a showroom was in 1997.....thats how bad I hate buying cars. That being said, I had the MOST AWESOME car-buying experience last Friday. Perhaps the internet has changed the car-buying process. I was able to "case" all of the local new-car lots online before ever stepping foot onto a single lot. Some manufacturers have far superior websites to others...you can see the exact models on the dealers lot without going to the dealers website, you can figure out the particulars of the financials online, anonymously, etc. Essentially, I walked onto the lots of 3 local dealers today, and the one with the BEST website eventually got my business. I knew what they had and what it was going to cost me per month give or take 12 bucks. What I could not anticipate was the AWESOMENESS of the sales staff. No seedy dudes in velour shirts (wearing glasses better suited for Joan Rivers) that really have no idea about the product they are selling. These guys know every button, gadget, and widget. I made a new-car purchase in a painless process at Durango KIA. The combination of a far superior manufacturers website, plus awesome people (Chuck, Jarrod, and Taryn) at the dealership makes it FIVE STARS ALL DAY! read more

On 8/1/2016, a serviceman drove another vehicle into my car and damaged my bumper. I overheard what had happened. 2 hours after my appointment time the serviceman said "OK your car is done. I'll collect payment from you now". No mention about the damage to my bumper which was obvious (a black scrape, 1' wide x 2' long). The serviceman ONLY admitted on the damage after I pointed it out myself. He took me to his manager & said "This is the other half of the problem". The manager, Paul, did not look at me, did not talk to me or apologize for what happened on behalf of the company". He treated me very rudely. They took me to the body shop where I had to wait for an estimate. The body shop manager & the service manager told me that I had 2 options: 1) they could put touch-up paint on it, and it would look obvious, or 2) they could buff off the other car's paint and give me $100 gift certificate. By that time, I had been there 3 hours & needed to leave. I was so insulted that: 1) there was no apologies for the damage or for the amount of time I had been there, 2) no one told me about the damage- they were hoping I didn't notice, 3) they didn't offer to properly repair the damage that they admit to having created (just offered to paint over it with touch-up paint! which came off by the time I drove home), and 4) Paul, the manager, treated me like "I was the problem", I am mostly disappointed that the manager of such a supposedly reputable company would behave in such an insulting manner.
