Wasn't too busy when we got three so we placed an order at the counter. They make their own bagels at the restaurant. I got egg, cheese, and sausage bagel sandwich with asiago bagel and mocha iced coffee. Iced coffee was ok. Wasn't mixed well so make sure to mix it before trying. The bagel sandwich was pretty good. They use spicy Italian sausage which is delicious. Lots of eggs and a slice of cheese with nice and chewy homemade bagel. Only thing is that I wish they added more of the sausage. Maybe I can try to request it next time. Service was relatively good and quick. Good quick break fast spot. Might take a bit to figure out combination of order that I like personally. Would come back again and try out different combination/get extra sausage if i'm in the area.

We ordered online and walked in to find the place a bit "busy" with a couple of people waiting for their food. No problem there at all. I'm not someone who adds pressure when a team is in the weeds, I'm happy to wait. The issue was that I wasn't sure where to go for an online pickup, so I stood in line briefly, noticed the staff seemed occupied, and sat down at a table to wait for a natural moment to ask. At no point from the moment we walked through the door or stood in front of a cash register, were we greeted or acknowledged, which... busy or not, is pretty standard practice if a new person walks in. When we finally did ask someone about our order, we were essentially scolded in front of the entire restaurant for not speaking up sooner. We weren't frustrated about the wait. We were genuinely just asking how the online order process worked. The customer sitting at a table behind us even turned around to acknowledge how hostile the interaction felt. One great barista and one rough interaction, just sharing so the experience doesn't get repeated. I think next time I'll take the drive to the Dedham location or the well worth wait at Spot (always a good service experience there... despite how busy they always are).

The place is always kept fairly clean. A donut and a bottled water will run you about three dollars or so. Pretty reasonable prices here.

I decided to give this place a go because I wanted something other than the inimitable, unmistakable, and ubiquitous Dunkin Donuts, I tried a Honey Dipped and Boston Cream. These were alright... they weren't quite as 'factory' as Dunkin', but they weren't as tasty and fresh as Kane's. The Boston Cream had dough that had some bounce, and no clearly evident old-fat flavor or staleness. The cream inside was pleasant and not overly sweet, ditto for the chocolate coating. The Honey Dipped left something to be desired. The dough here also had the bounce, but on the flip side there was a little of that old-fat flavor as if these guys were left over from last night. The coating seemed like a very light dip into a sugar frosting (didn't really taste honey). I would have liked a little more frosting/honey for sure, as this was like a mildly stale fried dough otherwise. In my opinion, this is not a place you would go out of your way for, but a solid grab-and-go.

I've been to Blue Moon once before about a 1to 1-1/2 years ago and nothing stood out so I must not…read morehave had any issue at that time. I went in again on 9/2, however, and was very disappointed. First, the good: Their bagels are very good and they don't skimp on the lox, as the other bagel shop I frequent tends to do. Now, the bad: I ordered a sesame seed bagel with scallion cream cheese and lox. Obviously, because I just mentioned it, this isn't my first time in a bagel shop. In fact, I frequent an excellent one just 2 towns over, so when I placed that order what I expected to get was an untoasted bagel with cream cheese topped with lox on both halves. What I got was a toasted bagel sandwich with cream cheese on one half and lox on the other. First, they should ALWAYS ask if the customer wants the bagel toasted. I didn't want it toasted and wasn't expecting to get it that way. A good bagel stands on its own and doesn't need toasting (the exception, of course, is for those who prefer butter in their bagels). I may return. I'm not sure, but I'll definitely make sure I specify it remain untoasted if I do. PS - if they're making pumpernickel bagels (the other bagel shop no longer does, because of poor sales) maybe some could be made without raisins?

There is four big chalkboards with clearly written menu items and they have alot to choose from which next time I'm in the Boston area I'll be coming back here to try something else. The staff was really friendly and fast as well. Waited about 5 minutes and was out of there! Second- whenever I visit a coffee shop for the first time I always just get a hot coffee first, and my god was it good. Seriously I could drink a couple a day. It was perfect. My fiancé got the caramel delight mocha and she couldn't stop talking about it! We grabbed a couple bites for the ride into the city and they were delicious. They do have breakfast sandwiches and everything is very reasonably priced. It's a good spot and I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out!

Let me tell you about Chloe, the wonderful woman standing behind the counter. Chloe greeted me warmly and genuinely asked how I was doing. I came in on a Sunday morning for a coffee and to get some work done. I ordered a hot decaf hazelnut coffee. Which Chloe politely informed wouldn't be possible because the brewed decaf hazelnut was ICED, not hot. And the hot decaf coffee had no flavor - no hazelnut. and As soon as Chloe saw me trying which option to choose, she came up with a solution. She gave me half iced hazelnut, and half hot regular decaf. THE PERFECT SOLUTION! She went above and beyond, and did it without thinking twice. Chloe and Leah smiled at everyone who came in that morning, and deserve recognition for how amazing they both are. Keep up the good work, CKD!

We waited in line for about 15 minutes just to order, only to be told it would take another 35-40 minutes to get two toasted bagels with cream cheese--which felt excessive. Because of the long wait, we ended up ordering an éclair and an apple cinnamon muffin instead--items that were ready right away. Both were tasty, but not enough to make up for the overall experience. The space itself is cute and inviting, but it could really use more seating and a better setup for handling takeout orders. It also seems like they may be understaffed for the volume of weekend customers they get. We likely wouldn't return on a weekend, as the wait just isn't worth it despite the good food.
