Sometimes, I just start craving donuts. Good thing I now balance my cravings for unhealthy things with Orange Theory, but I digress. I decided to give this place a go because I wanted something other than the inimitable, unmistakable, and ubiquitous Dunkin Donuts, I tried a Honey Dipped and Boston Cream. These were alright... they weren't quite as 'factory' as Dunkin', but they weren't as tasty and fresh as Kane's. The Boston Cream had dough that had some bounce, and no clearly evident old-fat flavor or staleness. The cream inside was pleasant and not overly sweet, ditto for the chocolate coating. The Honey Dipped left something to be desired. The dough here also had the bounce, but on the flip side there was a little of that old-fat flavor as if these guys were left over from last night. The coating seemed like a very light dip into a sugar frosting (didn't really taste honey). I would have liked a little more frosting/honey for sure, as this was like a mildly stale fried dough otherwise. In my opinion, this is not a place you would go out of your way for, but a solid grab-and-go. read more

Tested out this place on a recommendation. Met expectations. I prefer cake-like donuts, but these were light and airy, and quite tasty. The service was particularly good. Friendly staff. Bland donut. So little flavor and texture, it tasted like a Dunkin' donut unfortunately.

Nice place. Their donuts are good sized. I have had both their glazed donuts and their chocolate frosted donuts. I liked both but I definitely think that my favorite out of the two is the glazed donuts. There is a cooler where you can grab soda, juice or bottled water here and they also make coffee at the counter. The lady behind the counter is always nice and is a pleasure to deal with. The place is always kept fairly clean. A donut and a bottled water will run you about three dollars or so. Pretty reasonable prices here. read more

Stopped by here after a long hiatus of trying other places. They still have the best basic yeasted donuts. So soft and fluffy and the glazed add just the right amount of sweetness. Today I had glazed jelly, vanilla frosted and chocolate frosted. Planned to eat one and save the rest, but they were so delicious I ate them all. Such a clean fresh flavor, even ay 1:30 pm. I love the old school feel of this donut shop. It remids me of how donut shops used to be back in the day sans the smoking. This place is peppered with cute lil old people scratching lottery tickets and playing keno. Unlike your national chain donut place people take their time at this restaurant and enjoy a nice conversation. They have Bismark donuts which a lot of donut shops do not carry them anymore. My fav donut there is the chocolate glazed. They have a nice selection of coffee too. This location has a private parking lot. read more

Their donuts are absolutely great! They are a very good size, for a good price! The place has a very old school feel, which may be pleasant to some. The place is very clean, with the floors not being dirty, to the tables not having crumbs or food on it. Although, the place is a bit drab, and if they added some decorations it would be even better. It also has a nice parking space close by which can be very helpful, since you know how the city of Quincy is lol. Customer service is pretty great! The people are nice, and they have great energy and you can tell how genuine they are. Defiantly recommend 10/10! read more

I couldn't find a listing for this place on the web, it may be listed under the name of the convenience store it's attached to. Anyways, everyone who commutes to or from Quincy Center T stop knows about this place. The coffee is pretty good, and the donuts are enormous. The ladies who work the counter are super nice, and you are guaranteed to see several people get asked if they want their "usual" order while you're waiting. Iced coffee and a doughnut runs about $3.00 - awesome deal, and a good pick-me-up while I'm waiting for the shuttle bus to work in the AM. Plus, it always feels good to support a local spot that serves up good eats and drinks without the snootiness of a Starbucks. read more

For years, this was a staple of the Quincy Center T, and like hundreds of other commuters, I'd pop in here for a donut or two to go before I hopped onto a train. About ten years ago, though, they made the frankly baffling decision to move out to Scammell Street, and doubtless greatly curtailed their cash flow. Still, it was within walking distance of my apartment, and the quality hadn't changed: large donuts, good taste, not bad prices. We'd pick up a half dozen (by preference to the Southern Artery Dunkin Donuts, a slightly shorter walk) of a weekend morning for as long as we stayed in Quincy. read more

A little surprised at how many stars this place gets. While it unfortunately shares some space with a lottery enclave it's in a prime position in Quincy Center. I was excited to try the coffee here - mainly due to all the good reviews! But after returning about half a dozen times to try something new I have decided to give up since the coffee is basically a watered down, sugary, poor-mans Dunkin Donuts. Whatever you do DO NOT try the donuts here in the morning or evening...they are not fresh whatsoever! Bit of a shame since the street could really do with a good coffee shop but sadly this is not it. read more

Got told to leave the store because I touched up my makeup by adding more mascara The "manager" rudely came up to me and yelled at me to leave as there was a hidden no makeup policy minutes after I had even put it on. Mind you he never even saw me put it on! He wouldn't even let me purchase something to stay. Couldn't decide if being black while in his store was the real issue. Best coffee shop around. The Coffee is 10/10 and so are the breakfast sandwiches and bagels. They are absolutely great. Wow! I hit twice in one week on a scratch ticket! The new owners make the best freshly made breakfast sandwich. My kids love the donuts and muffins and the coffee is the best in town! Love, love, LOVE this place. I used to be a Dunkin Donuts Nazi, would not drink a coffee anywhere else. However, one day I couldn't make it to Dunkin but Donut and Donuts was within walking distance, so I tried it. The coffee is delicious. I've never gotten a donut but they are HUGE and the frosted coffee roll is a meal in itself. It is also cheaper than most coffee places around. The staff is always friendly, too!
