This is a great local doughnut shop. I was in the area doing…read moresome errands and when I was driving towards this place I decided to stop by and get one of their doughnuts. It was late morning so some of the varieties of doughnuts they offer here were already sold out but there were still plenty of flavors to pick from. I was in the mood for something filling but simple so I went with one of their plain doughnuts. The server behind the counter was very pleasant and professional. The counter area was spotless and the floor was clean as well. There is some seating in this establishment if you would like to enjoy your doughnuts and coffee right in the shop. I took my doughnut to go and when I got home and ate it it was very delicious and satisfying. The doughnuts that they make here are very good sized and one is enough for anybody. I have had their glazed doughnuts as well before and they are just as good as the plain doughnut that I purchased during this most recent visit to the shop. If you are in the mood for some good doughnuts then definitely head to this place!

Donut King is a classic neighborhood donut shop that has built a reputation for oversized, freshly…read moremade donuts and creative seasonal specialties. We walked into a space with an old-school feel that still kept things fun, with colorful decorations, themed donuts, and custom creations displayed throughout the shop. The room had a warm, inviting energy with a steady flow of regulars coming in for their morning coffee and donuts, and the display case was filled with rows of generously sized pastries that made it hard to choose just one. It felt like the kind of local bakery that has something for everyone. The donuts are the main attraction, with a menu that includes both traditional favorites and more elaborate specialty options. We ordered a few and found the classic glazed, jelly-filled, Boston cream, and coconut donuts made fresh daily and noticeably larger than what you will find at most chain shops. Alongside the classics, the bakery regularly releases seasonal and holiday-themed donuts that are decorated with impressive attention to detail, making them just as fun to look at as they are to eat. One of the things that sets Donut King apart is its custom donut cakes and special event orders. Instead of a traditional cake, they can create large donut displays and personalized designs for birthdays, baby showers, and other celebrations. The decorations are creative, and the staff are often willing to accommodate custom requests, making it a popular option for special occasions. The drink menu complements the bakery well, with specialty lattes, coffee, and refreshing seasonal beverages that pair nicely with the donuts, making it an easy place to stop for a quick breakfast or coffee break. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, helping create the neighborhood atmosphere that keeps many customers coming back. While the shop can get busy during mornings and weekends, service generally moves quickly despite the crowds. The team moved through orders with efficiency, and the donuts came out fresh and well presented. Overall, Donut King is a great choice if you are looking for fresh, generously sized donuts with plenty of variety. Between the classic recipes, creative seasonal offerings, custom donut cakes, and welcoming atmosphere, it stands out as one of the better local bakeries for both everyday treats and special occasions.

And as someone who love lattes I can say that the lattes were 5/10 for me. They both had an artificial aftertaste that I didn't like but if I had to choose between the two, I'd pick the pistachio latte. I noticed that the syrup for them weren't mixed in and but sitting on the very bottom of the cup (especially the cookie butter side) and it was a little hard to mix them with the straw I had. In regards to the service, when I walked into Donut King, there were only two people seated and already eating (as this cafe also offers breakfast food), I was able to order with no issues however within 5 mins a swarm of people came in (about 15 people, not all together). I heard one lady speak about how she seen a video on TikTok which led her here. Either way although I ordered 5 mins before they all walked in, I ended up having to wait about 15/20 mins for my order while some who came after me ordered, received their orders, and left. This made me feel a little weird. I thought my order must have been forgotten but it was eventually called out as I was getting ready to ask an update on my order.

I decided to give this place a go because I wanted something other than the inimitable, unmistakable, and ubiquitous Dunkin Donuts, I tried a Honey Dipped and Boston Cream. These were alright... they weren't quite as 'factory' as Dunkin', but they weren't as tasty and fresh as Kane's. The Boston Cream had dough that had some bounce, and no clearly evident old-fat flavor or staleness. The cream inside was pleasant and not overly sweet, ditto for the chocolate coating. The Honey Dipped left something to be desired. The dough here also had the bounce, but on the flip side there was a little of that old-fat flavor as if these guys were left over from last night. The coating seemed like a very light dip into a sugar frosting (didn't really taste honey). I would have liked a little more frosting/honey for sure, as this was like a mildly stale fried dough otherwise. In my opinion, this is not a place you would go out of your way for, but a solid grab-and-go.

The breaded part of the donuts was so delicious and tasted like fried dough at the beach or a carnival. So good! The line was moving slowly, despite only two customers ahead of us, which kind of surprised us. Not really any ambiance is present here because it is an order-based line and the space constraints keep them from offering any tables, but the aim here is efficiently getting people in and out. So this does the job. Great donuts! Highly recommend!

Not necessarily my favorite type, I prefer more cake type with some density but these were pretty good. I came late so the fritters were gone but he was able to pull together a bag of mixed smaller fritter pieces which I enjoyed. If this was an Apple fritter, they were missing the Apple? Still the sugar on the bottom and the wonderful cinnamon taste made me eat them all. The best donut left looked to be the jelly filled. Haven't enjoyed one of these in a while. Still as good as I remembered. The fancy donuts looked to be gluten free, they had a ton of them. Probably because nobody likes gluten free donuts... Kane's reminded me of a great local donut shop with a touch of class. If I was close by I'd grab them again but likely to seek out another shop in Boston to compare next time I'm back.

Paris Baguette is a Korean bakery café offering a wide selection of pastries, cakes, breads,…read moresandwiches, and coffee in a bright, modern setting. We walked into a space with a self-serve layout that makes it easy to browse everything from flaky croissants and sweet pastries to freshly baked loaves and beautifully decorated whole cakes before checking out. The bakery had a clean, organized energy with a steady flow of customers moving through the line, and the spacious seating area made it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a pastry with coffee rather than just grabbing something to go. The pastry selection is the main draw, with favorites including the coffee bun, ham and cheese croissant, hash brown bread, soft cheesecake, sweet potato pastry, and mochi donuts. We ordered a few items and found the croissants light and buttery, with a good flake that held up against the fillings. The sweet potato pastry stood out with a smooth, naturally sweet filling that was not overly sugary, and the mochi donuts offered a chewy texture that set them apart from traditional donuts. The cake display is equally impressive, featuring a variety of light sponge cakes and fruit-filled desserts that work well for both individual slices and special occasions. Coffee, matcha lattes, smoothies, and other café drinks round out the menu for a quick breakfast or afternoon stop, and the drinks paired well with the pastries without feeling like an afterthought. The bakery is clean, spacious, and well organized, with neatly arranged displays that make everything look fresh and inviting. Despite being a popular location, service is generally efficient, and there is plenty of seating if you want to enjoy your pastries inside. The staff moved through orders with speed, and the pacing of the visit stayed comfortable without long waits. Whether stopping in for a morning coffee and pastry, picking up a birthday cake, or grabbing a box of baked goods to take home, Paris Baguette offers a consistently wide variety of Korean-style baked goods in a comfortable café setting.
