Was so excited to see Dunkin Donuts in the neighborhood. What a let down! We waited 30 minutes for a couple breakfast sandwiches and couple coffees. Luckily we were able to get our donuts right away. But my custard filled donut was creme-filled, not custard. Manager or supervisor in the back looked stoned out of his mind! Also, random non-staff wandering around behind the counter. 20 frustrated customers in line half with arms crossed. Others joking how the staff are totally stoned. Oh well, chalk it up for a Sunday morning adventure. Definitely a let down. That said, 1 star for the good coffee! read more

first of all I went here yesterday afternoon, there were no available popular doughnuts, the doughnuts I did get were stale didn't even last to the next day, they were hard as a rock. I haven't lived close to a DD for over a decade, maybe two. My husband and I got excited to have Muchkins as our Sunday treat this week. Stopped in to pick up 25 and were told they had none. It took 3 employees to figure out it would take about an hour to make more. We didn't have time to sit and wait so we opted for 1/2 dozen donuts. I specifically asked for a chocolate cake glazed and didn't care about the other 5. the employee repeated "chocolate cake, glazed" as she was opening the box. We opened it up when we got home to find no such donut. The ones we did get did not taste fresh, more like they were yesterday's donuts. We won't go back. read more

Was absolutely thrilled to find out a DD was coming to my area. Being from the East Coast this was going to be awesome! I too am very let down! 75% of the time since it opened I have gotten the wrong coffee! I even called my son in FL(who works at DD down there) to find out how many creams and sugar I should ask for since they don't know what a Hazelnut Regular is here. They still don' t get it right! My son and I stopped in (he's only heard about D.D's) and the experience was fantastic. It was busy, but the employees worked together to get people's orders. The little delay they had was from customers trying to choose. The donuts were coming out fresh as we stood there and it was late afternoon. Needless to say, the donuts were awesome as always. Dunkin Donuts puts all other donut shops in Denver to shame. Honestly, I haven't really eaten donuts in fourteen years because none of the other donut shops compared. read more

My partner is from New York, and when this place opened near us, he was so incredibly excited. I think it is an East Coast thing. That said, they have solidly decent service with friendly folks, a fair number of options, and are open ok hours (I wish they were open later or 24-hours like most DD places, but I'll take what I can get). When you want a donut or bagel and cream cheese, they are quick, efficient and cost-effective, and the food is decent. If you want fancy coffee and delicious bagels, go to a coffee shop or Moe's bagels. They are doing exactly what they should be; offering quick food at a moderate price. read more

I'm from NYC so I may be a little spoiled when it comes to fast service, but it took me 15 min to get an iced coffee and a bagel. They made the bagel wrong (not sure how that happens...) and the coffee was so awful! Idk, I thought they would all have the same coffee, but I could barely drink a quarter of mine before I started feeling sick and had to throw it out. Of course I don't have time to go back and ask for another. The service is honestly great, the ppl are so nice. Worst coffee and donuts ever. We are giving it 1 star because there isn't a zero star rating. My husband and stopped in for a donut and decided to get breakfast and coffee as well. We ordered sausage breakfast wraps, hashbrowns, a double chocolate donut and a cake stick. For coffee my husband ordered a French vanilla latte and I ordered a cappuccino with toasted almond. Everything tasted of old grease, the wraps tasted of fake oily cheese. The double chocolate donut had no chocolate flavor and the cake stick had grease pooled in the center. We ended up throwing all of the food out and pouring the awful coffee in the toilet. Though we talked to the manager, no offer of refund or replacements were made. I was excited to find out there was a Dunkin Donuts location in Thornton so I drove out of my way to grab breakfast here. I wont be doing that again. The Pros- The interior was nice and clean. The Alright- The donuts weren't stale but for being there at 5 am they didn't seem fresh. I believe they were held over from the day before. The Cons- The service was not great. The lady at the front counter would constantly talk to her co-worker using the head set while I was in the process of ordering which I find rude. I ordered a dozen donuts and a croissant sandwich combo. The croissant was burnt. and i'm not saying a little burnt, 3/4 the croissant was burnt and crunchy. I took one bite and tossed it. I would not go out of my way to eat here again. If i was near here at 5 in the morning then I might give it a go again. read more

We usually go to Starbucks but decided to try Dunkin instead. It was a Saturday and there was literally 2 customers in there and no one in the drive thru... Yet my husband and I waited15 minutes for 2 coffees, one was simply a coffee.,....while the 3 employees., one a I guess a manager?!?!? stood there talking to one another staring at us!!!! I was so excited to visit a Dunkin Donuts while in CO because we don't have them in California (yet!) But I waited for over 10 minutes for my iced coffee and 15 minutes for a bagel sandwich. ****UPDATE***** Manager reached out to me and offered apologies and coupons. I have gone back and received decent service. The donuts still never taste fresh and the staff isn't very personable, but the coffee is decent. ******I'm not usually one to complain, but this was hands down the absolute WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in my life. A simple issue with ordering that could have been easily rectified turned into something insane. Went in for breakfast/lunch, ordered two combo meals which on the menu board clearly state they come with drinks included for the price shown. After we paid I asked for our drinks, the cashier rudely told me that we didn't get drinks. I pointed to the menu board where it said that they were included and she said "well that's not what I charged you for" I told her that was what I ordered so that's what I would like please and she proceeded to ring up two drinks and tried to charge me three dollars and change for them. I said no, I am not going to pay three more dollars for drinks that should be included in what I just ordered. She rolled her eyes and told me that if I didn't want to pay for them then I would have to wait until her manager "had time" to come up and void the whole order and re-ring it so she could charge me the approximately twelve cent difference between how she rang it up and how it should have been rang up. Since I had paid cash, I said fine, here is a quarter, may I please have my drinks and my food and you and your manager can figure this out when he HAS THE TIME? She walked away and came back with the manager who had an attitude and asked me "what's your problem?" not "How can I help you?" but "what's your problem" so I explained it to him, he rolls his eyes, rings it up, collects my money, shoves the bag with my food in it at me and walks away muttering under his breath "jesus fu##ing Christ" and I still have to walk down to the other end of the counter and ask again for my drinks to be made because neither he nor the cashier (jasmine h. per my receipt) have bothered to let anyone know. All of this over a $0.12 difference in cost? Are you kidding me? Why in the world would you risk losing customers and having them tell people what horrible service they received in your establishment over something so petty? read more

After a warm 70 degree day on Thursday, we had rain and powerful wind that knocked our power out Friday morning. I had only gone to this location twice and decided to put a couple of bucks on my virtual card about a month ago. Mind you, I didn't even want to do this as I have never been impressed with Dunkin Donuts but I put the app on my phone just to see if they might offer me something free on my birthday. The minimum amount you have to put on the card is $2.00 so that is what I did. I live just a few blocks away so I decided I would get my little, frail 90 yr old mother and me some coffee as we lost our electricity overnight. First of all, I am not at all familiar with DD offers so I pulled up to the speaker and knew I wanted black coffee for her and mine with a little French vanilla creamer on the side with some Splenda also on the side. It was hard to understand what the clerk was even talking about and I was concerned there might be a mistake when she said the French vanilla was a syrup. Like how much syrup does she know how to put in my coffee? When I pulled up to the window the guy was scrambling to write something else on one of the cups, like there was already a mistake. When I arrived home we sat down to enjoy our coffee and try to get warm. They had put sugar and some kind of creamer in my moms coffee and she immediately complained about it. I took a sip of mine and the same thing. It had 5 Splenda's and the French vanilla syrup was just plain nasty. I was so disappointed. First of all it didn't dawn on me that they put all the stuff in your coffee for you, McDonalds does that now too I think which sucks. I think it is because the elderly lady a few years ago got burned and sued McDonalds when her coffee spilled in her lap. I don't eat out much and just assumed they would have put the Splenda on the side in my bag of donuts and I only used 2 not 5. I called up there and talked to the manager and she said to come back for 2 black coffee's and a refund. All of the employee's confronted me at the window and Lisa said the receipt said I ordered sugar. I guarantee I didn't ask for sugar and the French vanilla syrup was just unappealing to me. My mom doesn't like any kind of cream, sugar or syrup in her coffee. Lisa refunded my money after several dirty looks from the peanut gallery and I came home with two black coffee's and one that I could prepare how I wanted at home. Both donuts were Boston creams and very dry. When they first opened this location, I was excited that they would have devils food donuts but every time I would go there they were out of every chocolate donut. It is a strange place. I deleted their app on their phone and put on McDonalds back on there. I'll go to 7-11 from now on if I need coffee on the run where at least I know I can fix it how I want. read more

7/5/2014 - Glad you think they've made improvements - we haven't seen any. I really like DD and this location is close to us, but WE'RE NOT GOING HERE ANYMORE. Today we went at 10AM - they weren't busy. My wife has a bad reaction to caffeine so she orders decaf. After suspecting they have NOT given here decaf on several occasions, I now watch as the order is filled. About 40% of the time, the order is filled with CAFFEINATED. Let me just say here that filling orders for coffee and doughnuts isn't exactly rocket science. They have a computerized system where the person taking the order at the register enters the coffee order in the system and the person filling the order reads it off a screen in front of them - this is about 3 feet away from where the order is actually taken at the register. The problem is that the person filling the order doesn't really completely read their screen. They just read the SIZE and start filling the cups. At very many DD's in the North East the person taking the order picks up the cup size ordered and MARKS the cup with the coffee order and passes it to the person filling the coffee order. That reduces errors because the person filling the order IS FORCED to read the order ON THE CUP. Today we got more caffeinated instead of the decaf ordered. A Manager took the order. I offered this suggestion TO THE MANAGER and she obviously wasn't even interested in listening to my suggestion, since she was busy defending their system all the time I was relating my suggestion to her. She said " that system doesn't work when they are busy". I told her it certainly works better for the customers that way, since they have a better chance of getting what they ordered. Apparently having the customer get what they've ordered is completely secondary and obviously not important. That's certainly the impression I got. The only thing said to the girl filling the order by the manager was "watch your screen honey". Additionally, most of the tables were dirty and the restroom was as well. Since they weren't very busy, there was ample opportunity to CLEAN. While we were there, a customer ASKED that the tables be cleaned so they could sit and eat. This all adds up to VERY POOR MANAGEMENT, and complete lack of work ethic. Obviously, the customer is not important enough to WANT to get the order correct. Just think about how the product is made if the rest of the operation is this sloppy and dirty. We've had enough. I'd be glad to offer to MANAGE this store - or better yet, maybe I'll set up another franchise right next door and offer a superior product and MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT.
