It's nice to watch employees laughing, talking and standing around while the drive thru line backs up and an employee doesn't come to the window. My order sat in front of the drive thru window for almost five minutes before someone came to the window and just shouted a total at me. Fail for sanitation. Do you guys not remember food handling guidelines or just choose to disregard it. Or did you not get the certificate and work anyway? Guy at front counter was entering an order in the register holding a tablet wearing his gloves.... Violation. Then took my food order and filled it without changing into fresh gloves. Another violation. His mask also was not covering his nose. Another guy working there had his mask down at his jaw.... Both his nose and mouth completely exposed. The drive thru line can be a bit congested due to how the lot is set up. I have been living in the area for 5 years. And I have to receive a coffee that was made correctly. I always ask for no cream no sugar and 4 pumps of vanilla, and they always put sugar in it. Today I went through the drive through on my way to work, asked for my usual order and specified no cream no sugar. This time they didn't put sugar but they put cream in it, when I let the worker know that I asked for no cream and no sugar he started arguing that I didn't ask for black coffee, ofc I didn't say black coffee because that is what no cream and no sugar means, everyone makes mistakes, but this happens every single time, and worst part is they never accept it, they just yell at you and blame your for your order being wrong. read more

This is virtually the only Dunkin Donut shop I go to even though it's farther away than the Antioch and the Dunkin Donut off 83. I am very impressed with the courtesy of the employees at this shop especially Katie and Ashley. They are very personable and definitely deserve more than minimum wage. I come back to this store time and again and I'm treated with courtesy and respect. They have always been on point with my order. And I'm always greeted with a smile on their face and a kind word. I hope the managers CEOs and owners of Dunkin Donuts recognize their employees for their work done and friendliness over and above what is expected. I went through the drive thru today 11-19-20 and I ordered a beyond sausage patty on a croissant toasted, with american cheese, one order of tatter totts, and an orange juice. When I got to the window I checked to make sure my sandwich didn't have egg in it. And sure enough it had egg which I didn't ask for. As I was letting the guy in the window know that my order was wrong, a lady comes from the back and starts yelling at me saying that I didn't tell her that I didn't want any eggs. I told her exactly I didn't ask for eggs so why would you put them in the sandwich. To which she said "because you never told me no eggs so I put them in"... seriously, I told her why would you put eggs in my sandwich when I didn't ask for it. And she kept yelling at me that it was my fault my sandwich was wrong. I was so insulted and shocked that the manager and the guy at the window allowed the lady who made my food wrong to yell and argue with a customer. Also no one there EVER offered an apology!!! I'm legitimately a coffee addict. So if I'm not at Starbucks I am here. The staff at this location are very friendly. Donuts are always fresh. My biggest issue with Dunkin Donuts in general is that they overly sugar all coffee beverages. Even when I ask for mine a specific way, it's overly sweet. So when I order I have to specify multiple times how much sugar to add. I just feel like I sound like a ass repeating myself. However it needs to be done. When they make my iced latte correctly it's the best. And I highly prefer it to Starbucks. read more

For starters this location is by far the worst location I have ever dealt with. Went in today with my husband for coffee. The women behind the counter preveen (sp?) is beyond slow. She then made our order. We got home and what do you know she added a new ingredient to the coffee.... her HAIR!!!!! Oh my god. So nasty! So I took pictures (attached) and went back. I got my husband and I a new coffee, spoke to the manager and left. Got back home and cracked a joke "you ordered a hairless coffee?" I swear to go he pulled another one right out from under the lid!!!! He threw it down the drain and he will be going caffeine free today (watch out world). Check your coffee for hair if you go to this location! They need a visit from the health inspector! Ugh so gross! Lines are always backed up around the block very slow service. Now they have eliminated 50% of their donuts they used to carry. Coffee is always burnt or they give you whatever's available sometimes it's hazelnut coffee and it's awful... I just asked for regular coffee they can't handle it. read more

Never thought that giving my credit card to pay for my drinks at this location would turn into employees getting my name off my card and looking me up on Facebook and sending awkward messages daily, and then when you don't answer and block them, they mess up your drinks on purpose every single time. I will NEVER go back to this establishment again after how my husband and I were treated. We had just finished seeing a movie across the street at Regal, and wanted some frozen coffee for the warm day. Went through the drive-thru like I always do. Was asked if we wanted whipped cream on them, you know, the usual drive-thru confirmation of the order. We get to the window and I'm handed one frozen coffee, but it doesnt have the whipped cream, so I asked for it, and the young guy said "oh sure you wanted whipped cream?" So I just responded that yes I had been asked if I wanted it (all this over some whipped cream) so he gets really rude and says, "Sorry I dont have a headset" and walks away. He obstructs my view on purpose of my coffee and bends slightly...I knew right then he had spit in it. He came back, and I apologized if he thought I was being rude, but he just gave me this rude look and didnt say anything. So I asked for his name (he is the ONLY one who does not have a name tag OF COURSE!) he responds with, "Dont worry about it..." and walks away. So I ask another employee for the guys name, and the guy says something about me to that other employee and they laugh at me as he walks away (at this point only giving me ONE of the TWO frozen coffees I've ordered! So, I did yell into the window I needed the other coffee, and he didnt come back for at least 25 seconds and almost threw it at me! I asked again for his name, and he responded with "I dont have to give you my personal information." Um, excuse me? You work in a coffee shop, around other people wearing a name tag with their first name...that's all I wanted to know, not your date of birth and social security number. Feeling uneasy, I called the establishment to talk to the manager, in which, all everyone in that place did was answer the phone and hang it up 12 times! I felt uncomfortable even trying to drink the coffee, so I told my husband not to touch it or drink it. We went to a different Dunkin Donuts in Fox Lake (where I know and trust most of the people that work there!) And told them what happened! They were disgusted, horrified, how we had been treated and said "you're not the first ones to come here to say something like that!" They took our possibly contaminated coffees and DUMPED THEM and remade them for us! I urge you, find a different Dunkin Donuts to go to, you never know what they will do to your food or drinks! This Dunkin' Donuts is the best one I've ever visited. The staff is very very friendly and outgoing and even sometimes ask you how your days going, they are very personable. They're kind and they go out of their way to answer any questions you may have about the menu including which sandwiches are low-calorie. I stop here almost daily, partially because of how friendly the staff is. I legitimately look forward to seeing Salim at the drive thru window on my way to work each morning. I order something different every day, and this Dunkin' Donuts location has never screwed up my order. I prefer to go out of my way to get to this location so that I can be served correctly. I stop by here several times a week, they are very inconsistent. Orders (about 30% of the time) are served incorrectly, look in the bag before you drive home to check that you did get what you order. I was in the area about 7:30 last night and my daughter and her friend saw this Dunkin' Donuts so we decided to stop in. We parked and went to the door only to find a handwritten sign saying that they were closed for the night. It was 7:40 pm and the doors were locked. OK...I look up and notice there was a neon sign that was lit up and said Drive Thru Open. Fine. We go through the drive through right after another car got there before us. There also was a sign that indicated the drive thru was closed as well. We couldn't get out of the drive thru because it's situated very awkwardly. The other driver in front of us got to the drive up window and wanted something and sounded angry. (I couldn't hear the conversation) After about 3 minutes of arguing with the employee at the window, the car sped off. Then I drove up and asked why they were closed so early. There were two high school girls at the window (maybe 16 or so) and they started apologizing profusely and explaining that they had to close early because they were just high school students and they had to close early to do the nightly cleanup procedures and they really weren't supposed to be there late at night, that they were supposed to leave on time. I then asked them if there was a manger there with them. They said no. It was just them. I then asked why wasn't there a manager there? There should be a supervisor or manager there with you if you are just high schoolers. They said the manager left at 4pm. I asked why. They told me because she is pregnant or something like that. I was astonished! What kind of store and management allows 2 teenage girls alone to man the store and do all the cleanup and close up shop at the end of the night?! I asked them how often this happens. They both told me it happens often and just last night they had so much to do to close the store, that they were there until about midnight. That is wrong on so many levels!! I immediately told them that they shouldn't be treated like that and how scary it is for 2 teenage girls to be leaving someplace alone at midnight. I'm sure that they haven't complained or questioned any of these questionable circumstances and have just done what they are told. However, this is not ending here at this review. No sir. I will be following up with the corporate office, because I believe these stores are part of a franchise that reports to the corporate office and has certain procedures they must follow. I may well follow up with the Illinois Department of Labor as well. PS...I am not able to comment on the cleanliness of the store. However, these 2 girls were very apologetic and sweet as can be!! I wish I had gotten their names. They were very professional and wanted to help us very much, but weren't able to. Very, very sweet!! read more

If I could put zero stars I would, I have never had a problem at any other Dunkin' Donuts except this one, the woman working was rude when I placed my order and then put 4 inches of sugar in an iced coffe I ordered with cream and NO SUGAR when I came back around she proceeded to say she made it that way because I was rude so I pu the coffee in the window and said she needed to remake it and refund my money she threw the coffee at my car and said she wasn't making it or refunding me and slammed the window shut. Terrible experience and after this I really don't ever wanna return to any dunkin ever again. read more
