It was hard to pick what to eat, everything sounded so good. There are so many clean food options from pre-packaged food in the cooler, to snacks, to full breakfast or lunch. I settled on a BLT. I wish I had added avocado or an egg, it needed a little something more hearty to round it out well. I was a little disappointed I couldn't order a fresh squeezed juice to be maid to order, but they have a good selection in the cooler. The patio outside is peaceful and so calming with the water feature. You completely forget you're right next to the highway. It's a slice of paradise! Highly recommend visiting for lunch or a drink on the patio.

We got seated immediately and our server Matzi came over right away. She's a sweet and bubbly young lady, offered coffee right away. We ordered an omelet with crispy hash browns and pancakes. It arrived quickly. The omelet and pancakes were very good but the oil to cook the hash browns gave them a weird taste; and a little too much oil. Matzi refilled coffee several times, always friendly and sweet. She was the star of the show. Nice music was playing in the background, just perfect volume. Restaurant temp was also perfect.. comfortable. The restaurant was busy and everyone seemed happy. This place is a throwback to the 60s. Good times.

They have a really nice caramel sauce and the pecans are salted, so you get that nice sweet and salty flavor and a good crunch. They often have a line, so be aware that you'll probably need to wait a little bit for your ice cream. They have a good amount of seating.

There's lots of parking in the gravel lot; several cute planters ring the entrance and outdoor patio. The cafe has several counter seats and maybe 10 tables indoors (there's also a covered outdoor patio with additional seating in warmer months). This is a first-come-first-serve sort of place; when you come in, you wait in line until a table or counter seat opens up. All of the waitstaff was cheerful and helpful and came around with fresh coffee a few times. I had a veggie omelet with a berry cup and sourdough toast. The veggies were cooked nicely with just the right amount of browning and flavor. There were a lot of interesting specials (country meatloaf with eggs and potatoes, for example) and the coffee and ice team were super fresh. We'll be back!
