Upon pulling up at the drive thru I had to wait 10 minutes before being asked what I wanted to order. When I drive around there was one car at the window still waiting. Getting my donut holes and coffee the young man with dreadlocks had this weird (up to no good smile) look on his face. I hope I'm wrong, but I had a bad feeling. Driving home I took a drink and the coffee was rancid and the donuts were disgustingly soggy. I almost went back, but said a prayer instead. Avoid this location. I came in early (when there was no rush) and the coffee and food taste awful. Save your money and go to 7-11 it tastes exactly the same. Donuts are not baked fresh I watched them carry frozen ones from the back. Serve times are terrible ( expect to spend at least 20 min here for a regular coffee and donut) , people just standing around. I will never go to a Dunkin in the area again. read more

I'm thinking some additional training might be needed. I've been waiting for a Dunkin Donuts to open nearby. We finally get one and it was pretty disappointing. I'll post pictures so no one thinks I'm exaggerating. I get there and the place was mostly empty. Only three other customers. However, there were 5 employees working, so you'd figure all bases of cleanliness and stock would be covered. The restaurant was moderately clean, but the trays in the donut case were pretty bare. What was stocked wasn't even labeled correctly (see picture). I walk up to the cash register. The girl was nice. Not rude at all. But I asked if they had the donuts with the softer, white cake and chocolate frosting. She looked at me confused. I pointed at a glazed donut with the same cake I was referring to and said, "Like this one but with chocolate frosting." She then looked at the employee close by like she still didn't know what I was talking about. Holy crap! If I was asking for steak tartare I'd get why she was confused. The guy walks up and asks, "What were you asking for?" He was nice too. Customer service was good here. I pointed to the same glazed donut and said, "I'm looking for a white cake donut like this but with chocolate frosting." He knew right away what I meant (I later learned it was a yeast donut that I was referring to). He went to the back, but returned and said they didn't have any. Fine, whatever. I took a regular white cake donut and a chocolate cake donut. I get home to find the frosting didn't fully cover the top of the donut. If this were my first experience with Dunkin, I'd probably never go back. I know they can do better than this, so I may give them another shot. Still disappointing though. read more

This morning around 8am I stopped by for a Maple Bar. It was $1.29. I gave the Drive Thru server $1.35. She gave me the Donut $ a penny change she closed the window & was chatting with the other workers. Someone noticed I had not left. She opened the window & I told her what the cost was & what I gave her. She then gave me 3 cents! I told her again what I gave her, she then said to give her the 3 cents back & she would give me a nickel. Heavy set girl with tattoos. She needs customer service training. I love having a Dunkin' in Rancho! But unfortunately I have had nothing but unpleasant experiences at this Dunkin'. I have tried to go three different times and I always return home with a negative comment. I had them tell me they are out of coffee and donuts by 7pm when they close at 9pm which i can understand donuts but coffee??, they have hurried me with attitude while going through the drive through when they take my order, they give me whatever donuts when i ask specific ones. I have worked in customer service for 6 years, I have done the food industry as well as reception work so i am very well aware of the struggles they may face but it does not give the staff the right to mess around in the back 2-3 hours before closing nor give the customers a bad experience. Being blunt... This maybe the worst Dunkin' I have ever been too, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by going multiple times but things just never work out. New location is beautiful; employees eager to please but it just doesn't seem to taste as good as I remember. The donuts were average, smaller portion and there was hardly any Bavarian cream on the inside. I absolutely have had better. Sadly, since last I visited a Dunkin Donuts back East (10 years ago) I am sad to learn that instead of brewing a pot of Hazelnut coffee they now substitute the flavor with a very sweet Hazelnut syrup.
