Krispy Kreme is one of rare shops I visit nowadays. I stop by to get my He-man and skeletor theme donuts from the movie master of universe in 2026. The donut shop is clean, have drive thru, and open kitchen where you can see donuts are made thru machines. Decor is modern and bright. Service is friendly. The donuts are attractive, I love they always have BOGO and other offers. Plus plenty of tables and chairs inside and outside. Tastes is on the sweeter side. To be honest, I like the Japanese Krispy Kreme textures of donuts the best. In my opinion, it needs very good coffee or tea to go with donuts. And maybe WiFi. Soooooo I'm confused by the turning of the sign on when donuts are "hot now" clearly the donuts are being made "hot now" and they didn't turn the sign on. This isn't the first time I've been to this location and they aren't customer friendly. As you can see their reviews haven't been the best and sadly it's because it's a common theme. Also with their rewards you can't use them to get specialty and pay the difference. In addition if you use your rewards to purchase an assorted dozen and they don't have them they can't refund your mobile rewards purchase and you lose your points that you've built up. 4+ this location is close to the Ontario Mills shopping center (if not technically a part of it). It's been a long time since I have stepped inside of a Krispy Kreme. This location is really close to one of the movie theaters I watch a lot of movies out of. So after a movie one night, I stopped by here for treat. Also, I specifically was looking to get limited time Harry Potter themed donuts, haha. Easy parking and when I walked in, the place wasn't that busy so I got in a short line and was able to order within five minutes. The ambiance is pretty much the same as other Krispy Kremes I've been to. But because it wasn't busy, it was pretty quiet and chill inside. I ended up getting three donuts: the ones that were themed after Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff. Visited this location to get my free green glazed donut just for wearing green. Indoor line was long but at least I got good videos to see how these donuts were made. You can also redeem via drive thru. Service was bit slow where. Bottleneck for sure. Only 2 people fulfilling orders and 3 ladies at the coffee area. Even thought it was quite busy I thought everyone should help out and fulfill orders. There were also 2 people on the line filling boxes and discarding imperfect donuts. They just throw directly in the trash. Ugg what a waste. I occasionally get a yeast donut or raspberry filled donut craving and can always rely on Krispy Kreme for convenience and consistency. I also appreciate that most Krispy Kreme locations keep late hours, so even late at night when those cravings may hit, we know where to drive to! We were in luck as they were making fresh donuts and he was able to see the conveyer belt making fresh donuts. Gael greeted me and helped me with the 1 dozen donuts that I wanted to buy. I asked for 3 donuts without any glaze and he asked if I was willing to wait 5 minutes as there were making another new batch soon. There was quite busy and as I saw the new batches being made...I assumed he forgot about me as he was ringing up other customers. I was wrong...he remembers I was waiting for the non-glazed donuts and assisted me quickly. As I was getting my box of donuts, I noticed that they had mini version of the glazed donuts. I didn't think they sold one of the minis but I wanted to get one for my little one as the regular sized were too big. He grabbed a wax paper and hand it to me along with my box. I asked him how much I needed to pay and he said it's on the house. He said "it's for your son. So merry Christmas!" Went in right before closing. They would not let me purchase a donut recently off the conveyor belt saying that they're not ready yet. I told them I was fine with it not being iced that. Drive Thru Donuts? I'm sold! Krispy Kreme is not the first drive-thru donut I've been to but I do like that they offer donuts if you want to pick up something quick to take to a friend. This Krispy Kreme is located in Ontario just west of the 15 freeway off Mills Circle, next to Ontario Mills Mall. The only thing I don't like about the drive thru is I'm not familiar enough with their menu to spit out what I want to order quickly. And if there's a line behind me, I am going to order just original glazed donuts. Nothing wrong with that but would be nice if I knew what to order.
