Stopped by on Saturday, 11/25/23 (day after Black Friday). Super crowded and long line - located inside the Ontario Mills Outlet Mall (near the food court area and in front of Adidas). I ordered: - 1 Blended regular smoothie (Pomegranate Berry) = $9.39 - 1 Blended regular smoothie (Wild Berry) = $9.39 SUBTOTAL = $18.78 TAX = $1.65 OVERALL TOTAL = $20.43 So yummy! Somehow last weekend, I was craving a diff type of drink other than a cold brew, I ended up trying 'Haagen-Daz' from Ontario Mills' Outlets' food court. I was walking towards 'Yong Kang Street,' but this ice cream shop was literally staring at me as in, 'eat me, eat me.' I normally get a boba drink from 'Yong Kang Street,' but last weekend, I switched over to this German brand ice cream shop. I browsed their ad pics off their display wall and went for the 'Belgian Chocolate Milkshake.' Surprisingly, this milkshake wasn't that badly sweet and was manageable. It took awhile to finish it with some of the 'Yong Kang Street' shrimp fried rice I ate. While the milkshake was sold reasonably, the ice cream 1/2 scoop was overly priced. It's been a week, I can't recall what it was but posted a pic of the receipt with my milkshake with The review. I will likely return for another 'Belgian Chocolate milkshake.' read more

What a nice surprise ! The best ice cream is Haagen Dazs and what better for a treat than that. I got an ice cream- cookie sandwich that the cookies were brownies! Yes - brownies! So good The ice cream they put inside was like 1/2 of a pint. A lot of ice cream. It did cost $6.50 but it was totally worth it. The employees are super friendly and helpful. If you want a yummy treat, look no further than Haagen Daz! They have many delightful treats. My favorite treats are the Dazzlers. I had the Peppermint Bark Dazzler. It was very filling and tasty. It had layers of chocolate cookies, hot fudge, and peppermint ice cream with Whip Cream. Worth the price! I also love this specific location because it is well organized and the workers are very kind. They do not rush you when ordering. They are very patient with my kids. They let try out as many flavors as you want before ordering. All of their flavors are tasty and rich. They have quite the variety. This is our must hit spot in the food court. I don't go out of my way to put out reviews on Yelp, but I want to clear up any confusion that potential customers may have when coming in because I don't know what this Amber woman is talking about when mentioning the poor customer service or employees that are "high". Firstly, Amber, you live in a legal state and cannot use that against any employee, and secondly, all the employees at the shop have been very nice, quick, and accomadating towards me, even when the shop is busy. Three people working at 6 pm on Tuesday 1-4-22 I was the only one in line and there was nobody waiting on an order. I stood there for almost 10 minutes and they all ignored me. OVERALL Is it the best ice cream place? No. There are many near my home that are fantastic such as a place that uses nitrogen gas, another that offers rich and creamy rocky road gelato, and other places that add pieces of blueberry muffins and pretzels. This is a solid choice, but only if you can't go anywhere else. I've had some of their other flavors in the past and they were 3 or 4 stars, especially when you compare them with what else you can buy for your money. Just spent my Labor Day at Ontario Mills, walking around with my family. We passed by many yummy food places, but my family decided to stop by this Haagen Dazs. **A little something to know** I am a fan of their milkshakes. I don't know how many times I have gone there for a fix in the past. During one of these milkshake expeditions I noticed to clerk (for lack of better words) adding something extra besides just milk and ice cream. I asked her what it was and she told me it was SYRUP!! Supposedly this makes it taste better after they mix the ice cream and milk. I had not felt it was too sweet before, but since then I have opted to have it without. I don't expect phenomenal customer service from an ice cream shop in a mall, but common courtesy would be nice. Not one employee made eye contact or even acknowledged we were there. It took them 10+ minutes to complete the order in front of us, and one employee was doing everything she could to move as slowly as possible. I'm not kidding when I say you'd have to try realllllly hard to move that slowly, and it made me question whether she was high. Another employee walked out using her cell phone and pretended not to see anyone as she slowly retreated out of view. The slow (high?) employee had finished making the order that took forever and began messing with the whipped cream container, trying to empty it over a trash can instead of assisting customers. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but after watching her mess with something insignificant for a couple minutes, it was obvious she was trying to avoid doing anything to provide even the bare minimum of expected service.
