I read through the reviews here and both the 1-star and 5-star reviews are correct to me. So let's go through the top good things and too bad things. The good: The churro flavors are unique and coated in delicious sweet sauces of your choice. I tried the Nutella almond coating and they were pretty generous with the flavoring, I left very satisfied with the churro itself. It was made fresh to order. The ambiance is pretty cute, they put in effort to make the area feel safe, especially since sometimes the place they post out is in a dark alley behind a warehouse in the middle of nowhere. The service is good and friendly, I read many reviews saying otherwise so perhaps this isn't true all the time, but it was the one time we went. The eh: The wait time complaints did ring true to me, we got there at 9 pm and there was no line in front of us, it still took them about 15 minutes to get us our mini churro and ice cream. However, it's a food truck, this kind of wait time is expected and I did get a fresh and hot churro so it wasn't for nothing. If you want something fast, you probably shouldn't go to a food truck. The prices also leave something to be desired, $10 for a small ice cream and a 5 inch churro is pretty high. Again, however, I allow that because it's a food truck prices will be higher. I can't find any place near this area that does better churros, so I'm willing to pay the extra once in a while for a better experience. My girlfriend loved that it's a "speakeasy", meaning you have to join their exclusive instagram club to get "drops" on where they'll be that night. I see many complaints about them not being at a location and suspect this is why. I personally don't like this (I'm lazy), but since my girlfriend does, I call it a wash. The bad: The ice cream isn't worth it. If I ever come back here, I'd rather bring my own ice cream, even if I look like a crazy man clutching my tub of breyers sitting around on a street. Their ice cream is either vanilla or cookies and cream, and it's a piddly amount with no toppings. Just skip it, there are plenty of great ice cream places, you're here for the churro. It'll save you a few dollars probably. The area (at least when we visited) leaves a lot to be desired as I hinted at earlier. It was in a parking lot in a dead business center with fences, the entrance to the parking lot was a narrow alley 2 minutes away from the truck itself. The only reason I was able and willing to find that entrance was because the truck (probably knowing it's hard to find) was posted very visibly against a fence with welcoming fairy lights, so I took a little extra time looking for the entrance. I hope they can find a better location to post up at. In the end, I may come back only because they do make good churros, but I think it's more because they lack good competition than anything else. So. It's so good I have to erase it from my memory because it's right down the street from where relatives live. This could be dangerous like really, really dangerous. Like have a churro every night dangerous. Because their churros are fresh and only made once you order/pay. It's not Costco. I think I got one with Oreos but they threw in a baby plain one too because I was the first customer of the night. Both were good. Their dough is not overly sweet. At around 7:45pm on Saturday we headed on over to grab some treats. When we arrived it looked closer and the man outside said they'll be open shortly that they were "game planning" inside. A man had already paid an hour prior and was still waiting apparently. He would occasionally knock and no answer. The employee outside ended up walking away. Disappointing. The truck is parked about a half a mile from my house, so I was excited to hopefully find a churro spot close to home. However, it will not be this one. They seem like really nice people, but the experience was wholly disappointing. Firstly, there are no prices on the menu, just options. To get a churro and ice cream together will cost you minimum $16.00. The ice cream is store bought, and you get maybe two small scoops. My cup was more air than ice cream. I was willing to overlook that if the churro was good, but it wasn't. Despite waiting half an hour (even though there was no one ahead of us to order, but 2-3 parties waiting for churros), the churro was not fresh. What was the wait for, if not a fresh churro? Amazing service and amazing churros. Stopped by today around 4pm and service was quick, friendly and overall amazing! We immediately ate a churro while it was fresh and hot! Thought i would try Moar churro truck that i came across on IG, i was so excited because it's only 4 minutes from my house. It says that they open at 4:30 p.m. i get there at 4:38 p.m. with a line of maybe 6 people ahead of me. It is now raining cold and 5:15 p.m. and I'm walking away. No one came out and addressed the customers no signs on the truck and so this has put a bad impression on me about their business practice. I went to Moar Churro recently and I had decided to get one of those signature churro boxes with ice cream as well. The churros were fluffy inside, consistency felt perfect and the different flavors showed some thought had really went into the different menu items. Overall, the churros were DELICIOUS. I was a little skeptical at first of going to a churro truck on the side of the road but when I got there my preconceived notion was gone. The ambiance was great with families coming by after sports practice, people chatting and hanging around and the owner himself was there asking for feedback, greeting his customers and giving us a little more than we paid for. It definitely did not just feel like "some truck on the side of the road." The ambiance was much friendlier and festive than what I see in some of these older reviews. Churros are dry, don't taste the best and overpriced. Maybe the oil is old or batter needs some tweaking. Costco tastes better but too bad they discontinued them. Despite the premium prices, the quality of the churros failed to justify the expense. Not only were the churros themselves lackluster, as mentioned in my previous review, but the portion sizes were disappointingly small for the price. It felt as though I was paying a premium for a subpar product, which left a bitter taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. In addition to the high prices, there was also a lack of transparency regarding pricing, with no clear explanation provided for the premium charges. One of those things you try once and don't try again. Sorry but I can't justify paying $16-17 for a cup of ice cream and a looped churro. read more

The wait time can vary. We went last Sunday, and we waited about 30 mins. The churro itself was okay. It was on the drier side. I wish it was more moist. The ice cream was good, but I don't think they made the ice cream. The customer service was very too tier. The best I've had in a while honestly. I would give them a try.
