I've been here a few times now, and service has been friendly and courteous. Today was no exception. The girl handling our order was efficient and nice. Her scoops were well rounded and tight. Not loose or small but the correct proportion. I was the 1st one to order in our party of 4. On this visit they were out of chocolate for the topping and bananas. I was going to go for a banana split. No really, I was. Disheartening hearing those words. Seems to be difficult for businesses to estimate how much they need. I decided to have 2 scoops. When it was done it was placed on the back counter. When my group was done ordering everything was brought to the front handed out to everyone. I was thinking mine would be soft because it stayed there the longest. It wasn't. I was surprised it didn't melt which would be a sign of poor quality ice cream. We sat in the car enjoying our ice cream talking about the flavors we got and how it would have been nice to have some of the fixings we are so fond of having. How do you give an ice cream shoppe a bad review? Like this... Came in to order two quarts of our favorite flavor. When the nice young lady put the ice cream in a put the carton on the scale I thought for sure she would then go back and add to it. The serving was very short. Normally when they hand pack they use a spade to press the ice cream to the bottom of the container. She didn't do that. She just scooped up a spadefull and laid it on top of the ice cream that was in the container already. The container was hardly full when she put a lid on it and gave me a price. I started to say something but she looked like a minor and I was hardly going to confront a minor over some ice cream. When I got home, I opened it and the serving was sooo short! It was about HALF! We just took one container and scooped it into the other one and made one full quart. There was plenty of room to do this when there should not have been! Guess I just gave them an extra $12 tonight. This is easily the worst Baskin Robbins I have ever been to! The employee (yes, only one on a busy summer day) moved with the speed of a slug. Additionally, when I visited the location, the POS system was down but there was no announcement from the employee and a huge line formed in the store. Instead, there was a sloppy hand written note taped at the register (in pencil at that) stating that no coupons or membership accounts are being accepted at the moment. Mind you, he was only able to accept cash. I understand that systems go down, it happens. However, please have a little more sense and make an announcement when people are walking in. Also, there was another employee in the back that could have assisted with bringing the line down for those that might have had cash. Nope. This Baskin Robbins store is by far one of the worst places I have ever been to. The owners are rude. They don't listen. Their serving are small compared to other stores and what you pay for the product. My child was handed his ice cream and immediately saw a hair in it. It was the owner who served us. Customer service was a bit of a miss (employee) could of really surprised my son because they didn't have what my little one ordered and they didn't give him his crown which came with the order. This review is for the Terra Vista location. Customer service if it's associates. The location is always clean and well organized. Albeit, the dining room is always sweltering hot but it's clean. We are fairly regular at this location as it's within walking distance from our home. The kids love it and it's one of the few ice cream places that are usually understanding of allergens. Sadly, our last visit was awful. We have a peanut allergy and I informed the associate (Dario) of this. He pointed to the last case that is filled with peanut ice creams and said "don't select from there." I explained that we'd been to this site before and the managers/associates will clean the utensils and then assist us. We've had associates and managers pull ice cream from the back room to prevent contamination. He shared that they don't do that because the ice cream is "rock hard". When we shared it's happened before, he just shrugged. This associate presented as annoyed by our allergy, like it seriously inconvenienced him to wash a scoop before assisting with our order. Also, We noted that there were marshmallows in one of the fruit sorbets and he didn't even care. He didn't take it out or say let me offer you something else. It was a "uh huh, so?". We ended up having to shift our requests to ensure our children didn't have an allergic reactions because of the possible cross contamination of whatever ice cream the marshmallow came from. We spent nearly $30 on ice cream and it was very disappointing to be treated as such. I hope the management discusses the seriousness of allergens with their associates. We're not trying to be difficult or inconvenience your life or your job by informing you. If you don't want to serve people with allergies then take down your sign that offers support for those with allergens. read more

Bad customer service. I came in today and the guy working was so unfriendly. I wasn't greeted and when I asked him about the free scoop day he said I would need to order on the app which I did. I went back to see if they can re make it without and I was told they had to charge me again. I asked to speak to a manager and instead of remaking it she goes on and on about their policy. As a paying customer the milk shake should've been re made but noooo she was spending more time trying to give me a refund instead of just remaking it. I ended up going with two scoops; one of icing on the cake and the other was world class chocolate. If you haven't had World Class Chocolate i really suggest you try it.
