Worker was pleasant at Dunkin Donurs location in Plainview. I asked for a bottle of water and initially she reached for the room temperature one on display and then put it back. Seems there's a fridge with cold one off to the side. I bought a sandwich donuts and one of their really good blueberry muffins . I saw a young girl slipping on the wet messy floor behind the counter. (See pix) . Workers all we're working and keeping busy. One of the many DD around standardly good . read more

This location is one of the many Dunkin Donuts I would visit on my early morning travels, but this one I have very fond memories. One who ask why a Donut shop would have a stamp on someone's life other than being a jolt starter to another day or week. My Uncle or as I once called my best friend was an on-going customer at this Dunkin Donuts. One would find him almost early every morning sitting by the corner window have his coffee along with a newspaper in his hand. Every time I walk into this location, he appears in my spiritual vision seated at his favorite spot by the corner window and lifting his head when noticing my presence with a great big smile. Dunkin Donuts new Midnight coffee is presently one of the reasons that I have been returning to this popular retail chain, and of course to remind of someone I dearly miss. read more

There are two Dunkins on Old Country Road in Plainview. One is a Dunkin/Baskin Robbins that closes pretty early. This is the 24-Hour, slighty-more-ghetto Dunkin. There is a tradeoff; if you go to the Dunkin that closes just before closing time, they usually give you some free munchkins or an extra doughnut because they would have thrown them out soon anyway, which is always good, though the doughnuts are stale. At the same time, you could come to this franchise, which stays open 24/7, and get a fresh doughnut at the same time. One must only choose if they want quality or quantity. This is the "Quality" doughnut establishment, the one down the street is the "quantity." read more

This place is always dirty. Always stuff all over the floor. Last time I was here, I saw several small bugs; thankfully, this time I've not yet seen them in the store, but there were flies in the bathroom. The staff is generally friendly and get the job done, but it's gross nonetheless. Also strange that the worker is making a sandwich for the manager, while the latter is reading a newspaper in the general area. Oh, there's a fly...flying near the manager; it is ignored. In general this is a 3 star DD - however my husband's breakfast sandwich order got botched up so badly (and it was not super busy, either) that I must grade down a star. Do not attempt to customize your food order - they can't handle it. Donuts and coffee drinks (including lattes and frozen coffee) were all correct. I would normally give this store 4 stars, but this past week i stopped in there for my morning coffee. As i was walking in to place my order, the girl behind the counter was eating something and licked her fingers and proceeds to go to make my coffee. I got upset and her coworker told her to stop and he'd take care of me. He put new gloves on and made my coffee and was very apologetic about it. People, there's a major viral pandemic going around right now. It is so important to practice proper hygiene. Wash your hands, and for the love of god, while handling food or drinks, change your gloves after each customer!! I've been trying to call corporate office to please express the importance of hand hygiene right now, but for the second day in a row I'm on hold for over 45 mins. Completely unacceptable! read more

GREAT DOUGHNUTS! I find that a lot of Dunkin Donuts have good doughnuts, but this place has GREAT doughnuts! Also they make great coffee and they always have a smile on their face The place gets very crowded on the morning commute but the line seems to always move quite fast. Disgusting place. Dirty and atrocious staff. Some lady was sitting here eating donuts out of a six pack of them. She decided she didnt want one of the flavors. (Her kids already ate two out of the box.) She brings the box up and says she doesn't want the flavor so the lady behind the register takes it out of the box and puts in back on the shelf to resell. You wouldn't think that there were many differences between Dunkin' Donuts (especially in the same area), but there are. There are about four that I have visited on more than one occasion in the Bethpage and Plainview area and this one is the best. They make my iced coffee and regular coffee to near perfection (most other places don't put enough milk or too much milk in it). Staff is pretty cool for the most part. One of the guys there though seems to not like me for whatever reason (I tip most of the time..probably 4 out of 5 days I go)...that's a whole other story though. Don't Do it !!! They burn the food and the coffee is never fresh !!! The workers are all in the back, give them five minutes to realize you're standing there. Yesterday morning my boyfriend went & bought me breakfast from here while as at work. When I get the bagel with cream cheese I'm eating one half w/ no problem and then I get to the middle & bite down but i'm like "wtf is that??" I remember like trying to chew threw it to like bite the piece off but it wouldn't come off so I finally like pull it out my damn mouth & im horrified. I'm like "is this a joke??" i showed my co worker like wtf there's plastic in the middle of the damn sandwich. This has never happened to before anywhere so pretty traumatizing & I'm glad I didn't actually eat & swallow it. With COVID going on I'm already pretty upset about that sanitary concern but on top of that, even if there wasn't COVID that's still just so damn nasty to have plastic still in your customers food. How does the plastic even get in the cream cheese? Wouldn't it just be on top covering whatever the cream cheese is stored in? How do you not see that your spreading plastic on top of bagel? Cause you can't tell me that went on smoothly I just have so many questions and you guys really need to review your cleanliness and sanitary policies. read more

Did a family order on the DD website and they got most of it right. Two wake up wraps showed bacon on the receipt yet they only had cheese and egg. Other than that the order was being completed as we arrived to pick it us and the place was clean inside and out. read more

Open 24 hours a day. Not my regular DD but just as good, Quick service and lots of tables to hang out. Kind of Starbucksy but with better coffee and pink instead of green and 500 different delicious donuts to choose from rather than some stale whole wheat bread and a salad. read more

It only takes one bad experience. Ordered a combo. They seemed confused. Didn't give me a coffee. I was confused. Lady says I ordered a sandwich, I tell her I ordered a #14 (which I had). She says that comes with iced coffee - it's below freezing outside. I order a small hot coffee. The four people there made me feel more like I was interrupting a production line instead of treating me like a customer. Part of the problem seems to be the whole DD model. Never again DD. Rude, Rude, Rude. Gentleman took my order, and I gave him the exact coin ... yet he handed me .3 cents back???? As I'm waiting for my coffee, the girls who cooks is chatting with a customer, and putting more stuff in her bag. Then someone I guess who works there goes and opens the swing door and leaves it open all the while talking to the girl who should have been working. Out of nowhere a coffee gets slapped on the swing door and an announcement of what kind of coffee it slapped on the ledge. No one claimed the coffee. A second later another coffee gets slapped down ... still not mine, 2 people behind me have now been served. I had to stop Grace(ironic), as she was about to slap another coffee down, I told her what I ordered. She snapped and said that's not what I got charged for??? Rude. Oh BTW never got a receipt... I told her it's not my fault, ( I couldn't see her), she made my coffee, and SLAPPED it down, not announcing this time. She gave me a dirty look, I had to ask her if it was my coffee!!!! By far the worst dunkin donuts I've ever been to. Always leave extremely disappointed. The only reason I even go here is for convenience on my way to work.
