Mobile orders
Dana M.

Busy place. Not one worker was just standing around, everyone was working hard on filling orders and they were still friendly when I walked in to get my coffee. I did a mobile order, pick up inside, and while I did have to wait I think that if I had set a specific time instead of 'ASAP' it would've been ready when I got there. Still my wait wasn't too bad. Love the new renovations, the store seems more organized now

07/30/21 - around 10:20am Went inside to place an order. Only one guy working the drive thru with 5 cars in it & one young gal helping customers at counter. I asked the guy if I order online if it would be easier. He's working drive thru with no one helping him so I decide to go back to the line.. when I look & see this mess (photos). I snapped the photos & then 2 dark headed gals came out from the back giggling...and I interacted with them, they were indifferent to the line in the drive thru and seemed to be in slow motion, so I decided to go elsewhere. Hoping the owner clears up this issue because my kids love Dunkin, but understaffing (or not having team players on board) and cleanliness speak volumes. Heading to Panera down the street...

Chocolate Kreme

Occasionally I'll get the urge to go to Dunkin for a good ol chocolate Kreme donut and some munchkins. First off - this parking lot is absolutely insane. Makes no sense. There's 3 parking spots - 1 of which the employees park in. The drive through is so small you can't even get in to park in the actual parking spot. Donuts were very slim on pickings. The munchkins were dried out. The service was interesting.....barely any icing on the long John. Barely any Kreme in the donut. I'll keep comin back when I get an urge though.

Julissa and Sam were friendly and welcoming! I told them to surprise me...all I knew was I wanted something strong and yummy and boy does this hit the spot! Fabulous service. Thanks ladies

Medium iced coffee with skim milk and caramel syrup!

This location always has great service. I really like their iced coffees, and they are running a promotion right now that allows for the DD card holders to get a free coffee after the Royals has a home game!! I usually come with Alex is working, but today Brian was the one a the drive-thru, and he was very respectful. I ordered the iced coffee with skim milk and caramel syrup. It was just sweet enough to where you don't need any other creamer or sugar added!

I normally go to this location because it's the closest one to me. Most of the time that I go it always has a ridiculous wait driver thru or not but today was terrible!! I waiting for over an hour in the drive thru to order two coffees, two donuts , and a breakfast sandwich. It was well over an hour of waiting before I even got to even order my food. After I ordered my food I waiting another 30 minutes to get to the window to pay for my order and get my order when I pulled up I got my coffee and donuts first and then was waiting for my sandwich I sat there for almost 10 minutes before I drove off parked and went inside because I had enough of waiting my coffee was wrong and tasted terrible so I went in to get my sandwich and ask for my coffees to be remade. After all that waiting I at least expect my order to be right so she went ahead and remade my coffees and yet again they were still wrong!!! The pictures below are of my coffees which are the same exact coffee so how in the world are they complete different colors!??? I ended up leaving because I was furious I'm from a big city and I go to Dunkin out there all the time and have never had to wait as long as I do at this location looks like I'll just have to wait till I move back to get dunkin because I refuse to go back there!!

Fast and friendly! Always gets my order right. I wish there were more Dunkin's by me!

Mix of fall donuts and regulars... the boyfriend couldn't resist a bite!

Stopped in for breakfast before a busy day! Some of the donuts were picked over, but it was a weekend and later in the morning. I was excited they had some of the fall donuts. I loved the apple streusel one - it was filled with apple and topped with caramel and a granola crunch. They also had pumpkin - which was pretty average as far as pumpkin go, but still met what I was looking for. We also got chocolate cake donuts and a couple of filled ones. We got coffees to - a vanilla almond milk latte (which was surprisingly amazing) and a caramel latte. I usually order with almond milk, which can be hit or miss. This was a hit, it didn't taste burnt and had a lot of great flavor! Service was good too, so overall a good morning.

This DD location was slammed with customers when I visited at 9 AM. I thought I had stopped at a Starbucks by mistake. The employees were busting their butts to keep the 24/7 drive thru lane and in store sales moving quickly. My toasted bagel was ready in about two minutes, and tasted great. The service was friendly, and the dining area was comfortable, with nice background music.

Guess what is open in Olathe . . .

This local spot is located in the little historic Lenexa downtown, which is itself somewhat hidden away now that the Lenexa Public Market is open and draws folks that way. Coming to this stretch of suburbia feels charming and quaint, and I love that there is a really fantastic local coffee shop nestled into this shopping center. Now onto what makes this place so special. There are tons of great cafes in Kansas City, but what sets Maps apart from the pack is that they roast their own beans in house and they are all super fresh. You can taste the difference in the brew and it's a nice change of pace to have something a bit different since many of the local spots in town use the same local roasters. Once you find out about Maps you'll start to notice other cafes and restaurants that use their beans. It's not as many as say, Messenger, but Maps holds their own in this arena. They also make their own chocolate! And when I say make, I mean make. They actually make the chocolate bars and not just the candies. Even more impressive, it's damn good chocolate. Honestly, if you haven't been to this spot and have a love for coffee and/or chocolate it's well worth a visit. The cherry on top for me is how unpretentious the entire place is. You'll feel welcome, and the staff working will be happy to chat your ears off about their products. 5/5 for me!

Maps... home of the best PSL ever?…read more I was in the area shopping with a friend and was in desperate need of caffeine. I just happened to stumble upon Maps and I couldn't be happier I did. I chose one of their seasonal menu items, a pumpkin spice latte, and was blown away by how good it was. The pumpkin flavor was nailed perfectly with the coffee. Service was incredible (for a fun surprise, enroll in the rewards program!), and the shop vibes are very relaxed. I'm looking forward to many future visits!

Located in the old MCM building that formerly was the home of the old Tastee Freeze, it already started out with a fun atmosphere. And the owners did a nice job of making it even more welcoming. I even enjoyed the barstool, which looked to be about 75 lbs but actually was more like 10. As my Corgi body got up, that thing shot out from underneath me like a butt mounted, spring loaded rocket and took off across the dining room. Many nice people asked if I was OK, and I assured them that I was only dealing with the pain of embarrassment. I like to think that my exploits entertain the masses :) As for the coffee, it was excellent. Much better than the overheated fare at Charbux. The pastries were fresh, tasty, and some of the best I've ever had at a coffeehouse. The young baristas that work there are very nice, which is refreshing. Better than most of the coffee shops in the area. My husband usually gets a speciality latte and he has never complained. We love their gluten free baked foods. I think she ( the owner) may make them or have them made for the shop, not sure, but the chocolate chip cookie sandwich filled with peanut butter frosting is delish! So is the pumpkin bar. If you are having your coffee in the shop, you can grab mugs from the wall, such a cute and unique concept. She also has a private room that can be reserved for free to host meetings or groups. I haven't checked in a year if it's still free, sorry if it's not! They also host bingo nights and such, we have not been but I'm sure they are fun.

The space is very large with multiple seating areas, quiet corners, plenty of open dining and enclosed room dining as well. I wasn't too impressed with the Mudslide.. it was dreary, no hit of chocolate or creme so I'm not sure what it was supposed to be. My mom said the match with honey syrup was decent. Everything for the price definitely ensured my only trip.
