Update 1/22/21 After having a couple not so good experiences the new management team reached out and asked me to try it again after they had made some changes. Fair is fair so I did. I ordered two dozen mixed donuts, and two Iced Chia Teas in the Dunkin' app. When I got to the window, about 10 mins later I did have to pull off to the side and wait a few minutes, but it was cool, they were really busy, on top of that their delivery was being made at the same time. They were packaged great and everyone said they tasted good. The teas were perfect. Yes I will be back. Nice going to the new management team and crew! read more

Placed an asap mobile order and got there about 5 minutes after ordering and it was ready to go when I got there. There was hardly a line at 9 so I went straight to the window and the staff was super friendly considering it was release day for fall flavors. Busy place. Not one worker was just standing around, everyone was working hard on filling orders and they were still friendly when I walked in to get my coffee. I did a mobile order, pick up inside, and while I did have to wait I think that if I had set a specific time instead of 'ASAP' it would've been ready when I got there. Still my wait wasn't too bad. Got here at 6:30 a.m. to buy three dozen glazed donuts and was told they wouldn't sell them because they "don't like to sell the same donut to the same customer." That makes zero sense and isn't a policy I've ever heard of. This is my second bad early-morning experience at this location. Drove 20 minutes and showed up early for nothing. I asked the guy if I order online if it would be easier. He's working drive thru with no one helping him so I decide to go back to the line.. when I look & see this mess (photos). I snapped the photos & then 2 dark headed gals came out from the back giggling...and I interacted with them, they were indifferent to the line in the drive thru and seemed to be in slow motion, so I decided to go elsewhere. Hoping the owner clears up this issue because my kids love Dunkin, but understaffing (or not having team players on board) and cleanliness speak volumes. Occasionally I'll get the urge to go to Dunkin for a good ol chocolate Kreme donut and some munchkins. First off - this parking lot is absolutely insane. Makes no sense. There's 3 parking spots - 1 of which the employees park in. The drive through is so small you can't even get in to park in the actual parking spot. Donuts were very slim on pickings. The munchkins were dried out. The service was interesting.....barely any icing on the long John. Barely any Kreme in the donut. I'll keep comin back when I get an urge though. read more

The drive through is open during the COVID-19 pandemic. I've been here several times, they keep consistent with the Dunkin' brand. I used to go ga-ga over their coffee now I need something a little more robust. same goes with the donuts, sometimes they taste a bit stale. This location always has great service. I really like their iced coffees, and they are running a promotion right now that allows for the DD card holders to get a free coffee after the Royals has a home game!! I usually come with Alex is working, but today Brian was the one a the drive-thru, and he was very respectful. I ordered the iced coffee with skim milk and caramel syrup. I normally go to this location because it's the closest one to me. Most of the time that I go it always has a ridiculous wait driver thru or not but today was terrible!! I waiting for over an hour in the drive thru to order two coffees, two donuts , and a breakfast sandwich. It was well over an hour of waiting before I even got to even order my food. After I ordered my food I waiting another 30 minutes to get to the window to pay for my order and get my order when I pulled up I got my coffee and donuts first and then was waiting for my sandwich I sat there for almost 10 minutes before I drove off parked and went inside because I had enough of waiting my coffee was wrong and tasted terrible so I went in to get my sandwich and ask for my coffees to be remade. After all that waiting I at least expect my order to be right so she went ahead and remade my coffees and yet again they were still wrong!!! The pictures below are of my coffees which are the same exact coffee so how in the world are they complete different colors!??? I ended up leaving because I was furious I'm from a big city and I go to Dunkin out there all the time and have never had to wait as long as I do at this location looks like I'll just have to wait till I move back to get dunkin because I refuse to go back there!! read more

I have to say, this is the slowest Dunkin drive-thru I have ever been to. Came around 9:30am, after the morning rush. Sat in the drive thru line so long, I had to put my vehicle in park. I have been here a good 30 mins already. Not sure if they are sort staffed or what. Person that answered the speaker was extremely nice and cheeful. The grounds around the location had numerous cigarette butts all over the place. Yuck! To be honest, after all that time, my coffee was terrible. read more

Stopped in for breakfast before a busy day! Some of the donuts were picked over, but it was a weekend and later in the morning. I was excited they had some of the fall donuts. I loved the apple streusel one - it was filled with apple and topped with caramel and a granola crunch. They also had pumpkin - which was pretty average as far as pumpkin go, but still met what I was looking for. We also got chocolate cake donuts and a couple of filled ones. We got coffees to - a vanilla almond milk latte (which was surprisingly amazing) and a caramel latte. I usually order with almond milk, which can be hit or miss. This was a hit, it didn't taste burnt and had a lot of great flavor! Service was good too, so overall a good morning. read more

This DD location was slammed with customers when I visited at 9 AM. I thought I had stopped at a Starbucks by mistake. The employees were busting their butts to keep the 24/7 drive thru lane and in store sales moving quickly. My toasted bagel was ready in about two minutes, and tasted great. The service was friendly, and the dining area was comfortable, with nice background music. read more

Olathe has a new Dunkin' Donuts. If you've never been - pretty good donuts, as a rule GOOD coffee! Today I tried the Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich with coffee and I had to add a Blueberry Donut. The sandwich comes on an English Muffin. It seemed to be dry - as in no butter or spread of any kind. The muffin itself wasn't totally devoid of moisture. Turkey sausage was OK not a great deal of flavor. I do appreciate that the egg was fried and actually looked like an egg with pepper on it. Cheese was there but there just wasn't a lot of flavor going on with this sandwich. Not bad but nothing I'll rush back for. Coffee (I add cream) was bitter at first sip but much better as the sips mounted. I do enjoy DD coffee. The Blueberry donut was not overly sweet, had blueberry flavor. I like! Again, if you've not been to a DD but have been to Krispy Kreme and are turned off by how sweet and sticky they are, you will like DD donuts much more. This isn't a large DD. I guess none of them are. I've been to the 151st Street and the 75th Street locations (both on/near Metcalf). The 75th Street store is a good deal larger. This one is similar in size to the 151st Street location. It's new so it is clean and has menus that seem to come alive; steam rising from the coffee cup. I try not to go for donuts too often but I do like coffee. This will be a go to spot for a quick cup of coffee (and donut). read more

I go to this Dunkin almost every Saturday during their busiest time. The staff is so nice they work very hard to get your order correct. If ever they make a mistake they are always willing to remedy it immediately. I usually do curbside pick up. My only complaint, is the parking lot. It is very hard to get in and out. However, when I got to the window I observed three employees chatting - one had her mask pulled down below her chin, the other two with their masks below their noses. I almost refused my order. this used to be my favorite one to come to but not so much anymore. there is consistently a long wait, this morning i order a large iced coffee. They had about 6 or 7 people in the store and we still have 3 people waiting out front for their order. This has happened almost everytime. there have also been multiple times where i pull up to the window and i can see my drink sitting there and they are just too busy talking to eachother to hand me my drink. very annoying and frustrating especially when i'm trying to get to work. definitely need better employees or maybe better management. half of the staff is beyond rude. read more

Each time I was told they were sold out for the day, hmmmm this is a 24 hour location, how do they only make donuts or munchkins once in a 24 hour period. I am going to justify eating a donut breakfast sandwich. I have to as this is one of the most amazing things invented and I have to justify the fact that instead of a dramatic yet romantic death, mine will now come from the donut breakfast sandwich. I guess clutching my chest and declaring my love for eggs and bacon sandwiched between a sliced glazed donut could still be dramatic and romantic. Seriously folks, if you are going to get a donut, why not add some protein to it! After tasting it I can not think of one reason why you wouldn't, unless you hate glazed donuts or bacon and if that is so you should be banished from Earth. The combination of the salty bacon, the fluffy egg (nicely peppered), and the sweet fried dough is breakfast perfection. I was always a fan of the pancake breakfast sandwiches for this reason, but the donut breakfast sandwich takes it to an entirely different level. As perfect as I find it, I still sit here pondering, what if it also had cheese. Dunkin' Donuts is an icon in the donut community. I personally prefer them over the other big name except for the bavarian creme being a powdered donut and not just a chocolate iced. The breakfast sandwiches overall are a step above the typical fast food places with options between toast, muffin, bagel, flatbread, and now donut. They also have a lunch menu with a nice selection of sandwiches. Besides donuts they offer other treats such as muffins, danishes, crossaints, bisquits, brownies, and cookies. The fact that they are not just a donut shop sets them apart from the competition and helps them to satisfy a variety of tastes. You also have the coffee options, but not being a coffee drinker I couldn't tell you if these are a good choice. This Dunkin' Donuts is a new addition to Olathe in the rapidly growing 119th and Ridgeview shopping area. The staff was super friendly and very efficient. They share one entrance with McDonalds and I don't know if it was because it was National Donut Day or if McDonald's is unhappy about breakfast sales drops, but they had the one entrance coned off in a really inconvenient way. Although I would like to see some more local business/restaurants come into Olathe, it is good to see the continuing growth. They also win for falling for the pugs help me I am starving whimpering and offering him a munchkin. The boy is soooo dramatic! He not only loved the munchkin, but he also soaked up all the love they verbally bestowed on him. As always, a place that is kind to the boy gets a nod in my book. read more

Drive through is for those that are on a mission to get somewhere else.....not sit in a long time consuming line only to get to window and find that I am placing my order for a second time!! Rude girl at window stated three times is was not her fault as "she" did not take my order- as if she doesn't make mistakes like other do-. Does not appear to have been cleaned since opening a few years ago. Staff are equally unkempt and dirty. Always crowded because the brand carries weight and advertises a lot. I don't know how many reviewers understand the concept here, and it's easy to be mistaken. Dunkin Donuts advertises all sorts of donuts and breakfast items and the occasional sandwich. This is an attempt to bump up profits and pull in more customers. Let's get one thing very clear: Dunks is about coffee. Not triple-foam-half-caf-mocha-frappuccino nonsense. Coffee. Specifically, regular coffee. In New England, this means cream and sugar. I know, I know, it's dumb to call coffee Regular if it has stuff in it. It's just the nature of things. So, follow the New England rules, and you'll be fine: 1. Order a regular coffee. Not food. 2. If you're going to order food, get a donut, but don't expect it to be amazing. Other donut places in town make better donuts. 3. If you are ordering a customized drink order or something that has to be cooked, take it inside. No drive thru. This is a Cardinal Sin and will get the hate stare from anyone and everyone behind you in line. We just want our regular coffee and be on with our lives. So, to sum up: Coffee. Regular. And you can order like Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting if it makes you feel more authentic. read more

Don't get me wrong I love DD, so I'll just point out right off why I'm giving it three stars. The iced coffee tastes different every time they make it! Really depends on who makes it. Sometimes it's delicious, and other times it tastes burnt and can even make you feel sick. I suppose maybe it's not the healthiest thing to have everyday, but I love iced coffee. One thing in particular about this location, and another reason why I gave less stars, is because someone in the drive-thru told me the owner came in one day and decided they were no longer doing happy hour. I mean, it was great... two large iced coffees for a little over $2. I'm not sure, maybe they weren't making enough money off that deal, but it was the main reason why I came here. They have no donuts without milk products. They have no milk alternatives for their coffee and pretty much nothing there for people with dairy allergies except black coffee or tea. My friend was ordering a box of donuts to go and a chai latte. I ordered the hubby an Oreo latte and a tea light ice slightly sweeten for myself. My friend and hubby loved their drinks and donuts. My tea was terrible. It was all ice and sugar. The clerk was very nice and telling us all about herself and her favorite donuts and how she likes her coffees and tea. Just moved to Olathe a week ago and with Dunkin being my usual coffee spot, this one is the closest to me. The first couple visits were kinda off but I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt.
