Tuesday, November 21, 2017 earlier afternoon visit. Purchased donuts. We stay a bit to eat 1. If they do not have a bug zapper machine. They should have one and maybe put it near the entrance. We see some flying bugs. We went here mid afternoon on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Picked up half a dozen donuts. We ate 1 and saved the rest for later. They were not fresh but I guess that happens when you come in the afternoon. Not ruling out that this visit was bad or good. Tried to order a half dozen donuts plus an apple fritter (since that doesn't count towards the 'half dozen' price). Got charged for the apple fritter but he had taken it out of the bag at some point to replace it with a qualifying donut for the half dozen. Didn't realize until I got home I was charged but didn't have all my donuts. Half the donuts were dry/stale enough they weren't worth eating. Neither of the 2 employees were wearing masks, but all customers coming in and out were courteous enough to wear masks. This Dunkin location is the worst. The donuts are dry and stale. They run out of things and do not inform the customer on time, instead they make them wait for a long time. Son and I stopped by to grab breakfast before our long day. Person at the counter ID listed her as Shift Lead. Wow! She was not happy to be at work. I went in at 8:13pm for a Coolata and donut.The cashier did not acknowledge me until she had finished sweeping. She said the machine for the coolatas were already cleaned for the night. What does that have to do with my order when you still have 45 minutes left until you close? I just said thanks and walked out the door. She did me a favor by not serving me. She probably would have put the broom down and served me with the same gloves she had on while cleaning. I just knew the Coolata would be my new thing for Summer 2018. I come to this Dunkin often because it is the only one near my work. they mess up my coffee almost every day. I should just start throwing my money in the trash. I order Caramel iced coffee and I receive plain coffee 7 out of 10 times. retrain your staff. also, it is extremely under staffed. Absolutely, positively, totally, the worst service I've ever had at this Dunkin Donut! I'm speaking with who I believe is the shift manager at the time, and he's going over what donuts they have left. Another customer walks up to the counter and ask for more flavored shots. Shift manager totally ignores me and gives his entire attention towards the other customer. The other customer even acknowledges me in conversation twice to the shift manager who continues to ignore me to take care of the other customer first. Totally piss poor customer service skills and management skills on his part. Have been a regular customer of this Dunkin Donuts from day it opened up. They will not get my business anymore! The worst service. The barista yelled at me in-front of my kids for asking for sugar. The fact that we have to ask for sugar and cream is frustrating to begin with and to be asked how many like "why are you putting sugar in your drink" is unbelievable. Very friendly people, but they don't know the basics of making coffee. I ordered a regular coffee. When it cooled down to a drinkable temperature it tasted like water with a little coffee flavoring. It was so terrible that I had to throw it away. Please follow the directions when brewing coffee -- it's not that difficult. read more

This place has decent food and service but they have one really annoying policy. I don't like it when they add sugar and cream to their coffee because they always put in too much of both, so I always ask for them on the side. But apparently they like to protect their precious sweeteners. They're the only DD that I've ever seen where you have to request sugar or Equal packets, they're not available with the napkins and coffee stirrers. They dole them out like gold. A little thing but it comes across as incredibly cheap. For that reason alone they lose 1 star. read more

I love Dunkin but I just had the worst experience ever. I get that times are rough and items are limited but literally everything was wrong with this experience. They waited until I showed up to tell me they were out of over half my order. So I made due, and ordered alternate items, which they STILL made wrong. The items they did have weren't correct and they were so slow in filling my order for other items they hadn't even filled from my order yet. Will never recommend this location in Lorton, VA and sadly it's just down the road from my sisters house. read more

It's a Dunkin' Donuts. I come here pretty often (at least once a week) to get coffee and/or donuts. I've never had bad service. It's clean, service is quick. No complaints. The best part is that it's afew doors down from the ABC store, so you can irish up your coffee if you want. read more

As a Dunkin lover, we order all the time. I am a nurse for the county and ordered Uber eats from this location March 19th to be delivered at home where my son and husband were. He has multiple food allergies one benign sesame seeds. we know the risk of cross contamination and have never had an issue before. This time I ordered a plain bagel not toasted for my son. My husband got the order at the door, gave the bagel to my son and he put his mouth on it and knew immediately something was wrong. With a closer look the bagel had indents and sesame seeds on the bottoms half. what came was a sesame bagel In disguise as a plain bagel. It actually looked like someone had tried to scrape the seeds off the top. My son rinsed his mouth, his eyes swelled, began sneezing uncontrollably and got a bloody nose. My husband gave him Benadryl and I rushed home from work as a nurse and monitored him and thankfully nothing further happened. I have never had a problem before but know now that I must put down "no substitutions " or an allergy note. This kind of reach to fill ordered is unacceptable and unfortunate. Please inform your staff that yes cross contamination might be unavoidable but you can't make sesame seed bagels into plain bagels. read more

Okay first of all...Im always surprised when i keep going back to this place. Back in the day, this place used to have nice glazed donuts. I went back recently with my husband, and we were upset. We spent money on glazed donuts that were dry. The donuts were old and the glaze was barely on it. I am rating this low because of how rude the manager was. She was training an employee and she was demeaning and rude in front of me/customers. I felt so bad for the new employee and hope she quit and filed a grievance. The manager there is enough to boycott this location. Also coffee was not even ready. I like this location. It's convenient to work and I have never had a problem with my order. What I do have a problem with is the way I heard the manager/possibly the owner speaking to an employee. The employee called out a number which was maybe for a mobile number and she berated him about it. She was so loud and telling him to look at the screen, look at the screen. There was absolutely a nicer way for her to speak to him about something that didn't seem like a big deal at all. If I was that employee I'd say see ya later. Not only did it probably make him feel bad and embarrassed but it was extremely uncomfortable for patrons to watch. read more
