Could be cleaner but it's average ice cream. Came here because my husband was craving a blizzard. I do like that they have extra small sizes cu me and dairy don't mix lol

The food is pretty basic but nostalgic because it reminds me of childhood. And it's close by. So definitely coming back

Really surprised at the healthy Turkey BLT on the menu. I let my wife order that and I had a chili dog with fries! Lmbo! Anyways, maybe I'll be healthy next time. . . . Not.

I like this place. They have good ice cream here. Staff are friendly and smiling. They do try to keep the place clean. And they don't make you wait too long if you ordered their sandwiches. Although I was a bit disappointed about the small size of their sandwiches, I sometimes wished the prices weren't so astronomical. I really think they should stick to making ice cream. Even their chili dogs are too small for my tastes. I always have to remind myself that I'm not in a mcDs store, and therefore should not expect as much. But gosh darn it, the posters about their new sandwich lineup was just too good to be true.

Who doesn't love dairy queen?? I got the pumpkin pie blizzard which was amazing! Has small pie pieces, so delicious! This branch also has the chicken strips with the yummy white gravy. Had to order extra white gravy because it's that good. Too bad we don't have a closer dairy queen where we live.

Ice cream is so creamy & does not taste watery like other ice creams. Tastes good!

Style Barbecue" on a sign, you've come to the right place. Hunched over a computer all morning, I needed some outside air and a quick bite. I had never been to Johnny Mac's before, so I thought, why not, give it a try. The inside is small. No indoor seating except for a counter that runs the length of the storefront. There are a couple sheltered picnic tables to the side. To give Johnny Mac's a whirl, I ordered a simple bacon cheeseburger with default toppings. My conclusion? The Johnny Mac burger is better than one from any of the other fast food establishments along Richmond Hwy: McDonalds, Five Guys, Wendy's, Burger King or Roys. Yes, the price was a li'l steep: $9.35. But the patty was huge; it might have been even approaching 1/2 lb. Also, my order was prepared quickly and the counter service polite. Johnny Mac's uses good sturdy buns. The default burger comes with neatly sliced lettuce, tomato, bacon and a tad of mayo. The toppings were neatly placed on the burger. The meat itself was juicy though probably could have stood more seasoning. But to remedy that, there is a tray on the counter inside the restaurant with about 8 different sauces, including mambo, which you can add to your burger. In addition to traditional hamburger and barbecue options, there are some Latino options. I want to come back and try the Elote (corn in a cup). It looks like you might be able to also get corn on the cob (with cotija cheese and mayo).

There is a counter to place an order, but they also have a self-order kiosk. That likely helps the small kitchen staff out. Waiting for my treat took a while because of a few other orders ahead, but when it came out I got a nicely swirled strawberry ice cream on a cone. The pink trim reminded me of a frozen yogurt spot back home. I enjoyed the ice cream on the picnic benches located outside on the side. There is a standing counter space to eat on inside, but I imagine during busier times between the line to order and the diners it could be crowded. The ice cream seemed to be popular. I saw two other guys leaving with their own tall swirls for the road. Johnny Mac's has a decent array of flavors, so I would come back if I'm back down here.

Getting there around 8AM, they weren't very busy. Tried their cinnamon roll, honey chicken w/egg biscuit, and their breakfast potatoes. Unfortunately, they only serve Starbucks coffee, which is far from a fav of mine, but it can be tolerable (it's usually too "burnt" and bitter tasting)... In this instance, it was actually decent. The food took about 10 minutes to prepare and came out piping hot. The cinnamon roll was room temperature, as it came from the display case and it was excellent! Lots of great flavor and it resembled croissant dough - Not sure if that's what they use to make it, but it's amazing! The biscuit was nice, but crumbled too easy... fortunately due to the size, I decided to use fork & knife to eat it, so the biscuit's inability to hold everything together didn't matter to me. The flavors were great! Definitely very nicely done. Those breakfast potatoes were VERY tasty - yum!!! Service was very nice... the clerk who took our order was friendly and helpful.

So the fact that there is a parking lot at Puzukan already is a check for me, but the consistent good food and service is what why I give 5 stars. There are Korean BBQ spots in the area that also offer takeout, but if you're on a short lunch break and on or near Fort Belvoir or Hayfield, this is the one you want. I like their variety of sauces, flavor offerings, and really enjoy their Korean fried chicken nuggets. There have been times when I had to wait a short while for an order I called in, but I attribute that to the time of day (usually lunch rush). This is not just my go-to, it's a favorite for me and my office.

The bulgogi and the pork belly dishes were nicely presented. Here, to be fair, I need to acknowledge a difference in preferences. I thought the seasoning on the bulgogi was just okay and I absolutely didn't like pork belly seasoning. But! JP thought the pork belly was delicious. Okay, on to the elephant in the room. Why only two stars? I'll start with the menu. You order at the cash register. When we went to the counter, there was a paper copy of the menu and all the prices were blacked out. The cashier perkily explained that the prices had changed so that was why prices were blacked out. So why not print a menu with the current prices? And the reality is that even though there are tables in Puzukan, this is completely a take-out restaurant. Though our order was for dine-in, we were served our meal in take-out boxes with plastic silverware. Covid redux? Also, there was no banchan, nor any soy or hot sauce on the table. What cemented two stars for Puzukan was my visit to the restroom. The corridor to the restrooms was cluttered with supplies on shelves sticking out every which way. And then the far restroom...oh that restroom. It was filthy with bodily by-product flung on the wall. But what was the worst was this restroom was filled haphazardly with more restaurant supplies. Lying out in the open were a whisk and other cooking equipment on a shelf next to the toilet. Need I say more?

Decorated in clean blue and white colors, Smyrna has an appealing feel. Smyrna also has a rear patio open during good weather. We were started out with very decent complimentary warm pita bread. For my first (starter) course, I ordered the chicken avgolemono soup. While the soup was packed with tender chicken, I was disappointed that the soup didn't really have much of a tart, lemony flavor. It actually was bland. But what more than made up for the avgolemono soup was the beef Keftdedes I chose for my second course. This dish came with absolutely the best tomato-based sauce I've ever had anywhere anytime! Delicious and fabulous!! The beef keftdedes were plump ground beef patties served over little squares of pita bread and topped with the tomato sauce and also a yogurt sauce. JP ordered the Imam Bayildi, which was good. It came with roasted eggplant, diced tomatoes and diced onions. For our third course (dessert), I ordered the Revani, which was a moist dense semolina cake topped with ice cream and chocolate shavings. Outstanding flavor and texture. Perfect! I ate at the Mall location a bit more when one of my friends got a job there. The bacon cheeseburger was my absolute favorite. The taste was everything. I preferred Roy's food over McDonald's ANY DAY. I may have been extra influenced by my dad, who grew up on Roy Rogers comics and movies, so I grew a love for westerns. Even if the restaurant chain is relative to The King of Cowboys in name only, I love it just by the association. Time goes by, Hardee's buys Roy's and gradually my beloved chain began to disappear. I left for college and during my visits home would look for a Roy's but knew it would just be a memory. About 20 years later, I came home for another friend's wedding and nearly crashed into the car in front of me. I thought my eyes were playing tricks. I guess you can consider us regulars (and funny enough, we've spot other regulars here, too). First of all, they have ample parking spaces, including a little cul-de-sac parking lot with 2 handicapped spaces right up to the door. They have 2 drive-thru lanes, which they've now specified one lane for mobile orders (on the right) and the other lane for their regular drive-thru (on the left lane). Sometimes lines can get backed up during peak hours, but they tend to flow at an even pace. Food has been consistet in terms of taste and quality. Hot food is hot and cold food is cold. We've had their breakfast and lunch/dinner items and we have enjoyed our meals each time. For their hot beverage (i.e. coffee), I think it's pretty good esp. with their French vanilla creamer. My staple breakfast item is their Chicken, Egg & Cheese Muffin with their hash brown. My staple lunch/dinner item is their 4 piece Chicken Tenders with their Waffle Fries and a side of their Strawberry Milkshake. Every now and then I will get their Deluxe Chicken Sandwich or their Cobb Salad. Everything is delicious! Service has been outstanding, at least during the times we've been here. They are attentive, respectful, courteous, friendly, and hardworking. If they are not working the kitchen, they are outside taking orders (during peak hours), or cleaning tables/floors/restrooms. One of the ladies that usually works the floor will come by and ask us if we need anything and will offer to refill our beverages. Now that's service! Granted, it doesn't happen every single time, but we appreciate the offer, compared to other places. Another perk this place offers is Kid's Night every other Monday night (6-7:30pm). They have an Instagram account where you can get updates to those specific dates and activities. While you eat your meal, your kiddos can work on whatever crafts they have that day. Then the kiddos can enjoy FREE ice cream with their choice of toppings! Sometimes you might get to greet their Cow mascot! Honestly, it's a great treat for the whole family. Overall, we enjoy coming to this Chick-fil-A location. Sure, they're not perfect but at least they've done their best to offer great food and service.
