I had dropped in for alittle while with a friend to charge my phone while enjoying a cup of coffee. 1st thing I had noticed was the friendliness that the staff had shown each other while behind the counter as they appeared to all be having a good day. I had asked for the coffee to counteract a Red bull that made me feel alittle wired earlier within the day, and was greeted by a Young male I believe his name was "Kenny" after only after having a pleasant conversation with said employee I then found out that he was tge store Manager. 1 thing I will say about the crew that was working that night, You can't get more friendlier Customer Service than that, everyone was enjoying themselves while still going above and beyond fir their customers. I am glad that I came in that night as the staff was a great service to us both and are a (Must have) for any industry. Ordered a dozen specialty donuts for coworkers this morning. I had one of them pick them up. I was told that he woman at the counter went in the back to get them. When I went to get a donut, it was dry and old. I tried another and had coworkers try the various donuts. All of them old and stale!!! Not like day old but at least a couple days old. Krispy Kreme doughnuts as a youtuber I watched recently said "A piece of heaven." I'm a semi-regular customer to this location and am giving 4 stars to the _location_ for 2 reasons. 1. Multiple times they have been out of the specialty doughnuts I specifically came in to order. It is up to the individual restaurant to balance stock with demand and I do not feel they are the best at it. 2. The last time I went I got a dozen doughnuts and they gave me 11. I just trusted them as I have every other time. They don't open the box to check anything on checkout and it's not easy to see when they are filling you up (which can be a plus, I suppose, you could outright lie about what you got :P). So if you care, check. I do like the fact there's a drive through...like a lot of places they give it slightly more attention than the line but I don't hold that against them. Service is usually pretty fast regardless. Most people know what they want and want to get out of there (like me). Can't blame tourists or unprepared for looking at a menu. Need to be going south down Rt. 1 to access via car the easiest. When coming from the other way, I often park and walk over past a couple of the other local joints. I've never eaten in and am always surprised people are. Atmosphere reminds me of a diner, lots of silver, hard objects, round corners. Bathrooms were clean anytime I have used them. So I drove from DC to this Krispy Kreme because they recently closed the one I went to in MD. I was in traffic for 40 minutes!!!! I ordered and got home and my order was incorrect and most of the doughnuts were not filled with cream!! I ordered like one of everything off the new menu and got three Biscoff and three NY cheesecakes. Three had with no filling and two with a dot of filling. How is that possible?!? I'm done with Krispy Kreme. I have been a lover and supporter of theirs since I had to stand on tiptoe to peek in the window to see the donuts being made. But after the last few times going to the one on Richmond Hwy in the Kings Crossing area, I'm done. They constantly get the orders wrong. The last time they left off an entire box of donuts, I paid for them but they weren't in the bag. I'd traveled to another state to a Christmas party with them to share and there were not enough due to the missed box.
