The customer service of the gentleman behind the counter was great. Seems like he enjoys what he does which gives more reason to actually visit the establishment especially seeing as I'm not a huge cereal fan. My children and I all tried milkshakes. My son had the cookies and cream, daughter had unicorn breath (picked by the gentleman working) and I got buttercup minus the chocolate sprinkles. We all enjoyed them. They are $13 each, which I think is a bit much for the actual amount of milkshake you get vs the space filler of cereal. I thought a had milkshake left and realized it was just the cereal which I didn't really want. I wish they offered different sizes or at least a kids size because my daughter barely got through half of hers. I noticed they do have non dairy milks and I believe 2 cereals labeled "plant based", so if you're not a dairy person they have an option. *They only take Venmo, cash app or exact change.*

So many good choices it was hard to decide! Located right outside of Target in the mall. Not very crowded which was nice. Needed help deciding so I had the lady who makes the shakes choose and it did not disappoint!! The unicorn breath was so good and not too sweet. Crunch bits added great texture to my shake! Wish I had one in NC!

The customer service at this establishment is A-1, samples are also offered. The portion size in connection to price is a bit excessive but the business is in a mall so I get it... rent is high. This is definitely a spot to visit ladies when you get craving either during your monthly or when pregnant. My mini and I enjoyed our desserts. I do recommend this spot for the sweet-tooth folks.

The actual restaurant feels massive but decorated in a rustic way. I want to give a huge shout out to Alicia. She is such a knowledgeable, approachable, and receptive server. She was on top of refilling drinks, making sure we weren't left alone for too long when we were waiting for our food to come, and just had an overall amazing energy. While we really enjoy all of the servers we've had at Mikes, Alicia takes the cake. If there's any way to provide her with recognition, I would highly vouch for it. She could sell me anything on that menu with that kind of personality! Thank you, Alicia! I'm going to make sure we try to get seated at your table again.

I visited Mike's American after coming across it on Resy and was able to get a same-day reservation…read morefor two on Easter Sunday. As expected, it was busy, but the restaurant does have a fairly large parking lot which made arrival easier. The setup was interesting. After checking in downstairs, I was given a ticket and directed upstairs for seating. I took the elevator, which offered a clear view of the kitchen below as it ascended... definitely a unique touch. Upstairs, another host staff guided us to our table. The space had a lively feel, roaring with chatter from customers, and I could see parts of the kitchen where food was being prepared over an open flame, which added to the overall atmosphere. For the food, we started with the calamari. It was cooked well and had a nice texture, especially paired with the crispy onion shoestrings, which added a good crunch and flavor. It was served over a lobster sauce, although the lobster flavor wasn't very noticeable. The main issue was the salt level... it was quite heavy! I did enjoy it overall, but I would only recommend it to someone who doesn't have to watch their sodium intake. For entrées, I ordered the steak cooked medium with broccolini. The dish automatically comes with mashed potatoes, and while I was able to substitute the salad for broccolini, there didn't seem to be flexibility with the potatoes. After tasting the mashed potatoes, I wish I was offered to substitute it as it tasted like the brown box we grew up on where you just added water. When the food came out, the steak was closer to medium-well or well done rather than medium, and both the mashed potatoes and broccolini were a bit cold. I chose not to send it back since we waited but it did affect the overall experience. My guest ordered the ribs with fries and coleslaw. The ribs were well-prepared--tender with a clean pull off the bone--and were probably the highlight of the meal. The fries were also very good and came out hot. The coleslaw wasn't as well received, described as having too many of the tougher parts of the cabbage. Overall, the experience had some positives, especially in terms of atmosphere and certain menu items like the ribs and fries. While I did enjoy parts of the meal, it's not somewhere I would personally return to, but it may be worth trying once to form your own opinion.

There was a woman (maybe a manager or owner) who walked around to every table asking if things were okay. My husband ordered the pasta with marinara (not realizing it came with cheese- he had to send it back, he does not do dairy or meat). They should note that cheese is on it on the menu. I ordered three chicken wings (they were oversized - not my preference), potato salad, black eyed peas and one piece of cornbread. The chicken lacked flavor. It was just big and kind of greasy. The sides were fine. Ordered a piece of sweet potato pie to go and that was fine. The jazz contained a lot of talking. It was nice when they started playing line dancing music and there was a small area to dance. The dancing wasn't offensive or in the way...it was just right. Then came more talking. And advertising of a cruise, etc. It was okay, but I wish they played more music than talking. The same night, the restaurant attempted to charge me for a missed reservation fee ($5 per person). Luckily, I keep my AMEX locked. Weird, I gave my name to the hostess upon check-in. Wonder if that's happened to others. All-in-all, it was an okay experience. Not opposed to trying the restaurant again, but not necessarily rushing to get there.

In addition, they have events in some nights such as karaoke night. You will come across a lot of veterans (TY 4 Your Service). Also, It was interesting to see people bring their own spirits and in some cases, donate to the bar. Only thing is that they may not be a full bar, so they may or may not have vodka. As for the food, the cod was really good but could have used a bit more seasoning and citrus. The rice pilaf is no different than most, bland. However, it complimented the cod fish. The green beans were tasty. The steak was cooked as ordered and flavored well. The salad was fresh. And who could resist cheesecake that was creamy and a rich chocolate cake. Yummy! This place is def a spot to come and let hair down or put your hat down and enjoy amongst good people and veterans.

The Patriot Burger with double meat tastes like a love child between a hot and fresh In-N-Out burger and a Big Mac. I just finished one and I'm still salivating. The Chopped Cheese: 7/10. They messed up a previous order of this by adding jalapeños to both sandwiches instead of just one and it was too spicy for me. The fries: 8/10. They get cold quickly, but they taste similar to fries from Burger King. They're good and they came with organic ketchup, which I appreciated.

There was a second birthday party in full swing, yet the family who owns the restaurant greeted us with such warmth and kindness and invited us to sit wherever we felt comfortable. You can immediately tell this is a place built on heart, humility, and truly good people. The service stood out in the best way. I asked whether the Caesar dressing contained anchovies due to a pregnancy restriction, and although our server wasn't completely sure, he handled it with care and thoughtfulness. He brought the dressing on the side and offered to swap it entirely out of an abundance of caution, which meant a lot and showed how much they value their guests' comfort. And the food. Absolutely delicious. Every dish tasted fresh and authentic, and the sauces alone are worth coming back for. You can tell everything is made with intention and pride. What really makes this place special, though, is the feeling you leave with. By the end of dinner, it doesn't feel like you just ate at a restaurant. It feels like you were welcomed into a family. If you're looking for authentic Greek food, incredible hospitality, and a dining experience that feels personal and memorable, I cannot recommend Eleni's Greek Tavern enough.
