Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. The food was absolutely incredible--everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The drinks were just as impressive, with a great selection and expertly made. It's not often you find a restaurant that delivers exceptional food, amazing drinks, and customer service that truly goes the extra mile. The service was excellent from the check-in (we didn't have reservations), to the hostess, to the server. It was excellent. Our server was friendly, she was helpful, she was thorough. She kept checking on us to make sure we were OK. Our food came out quickly, hot, fresh and delicious. We had the pork chop dinner and the shrimp/fish dinner, along with peach cobbler. There was a second birthday party in full swing, yet the family who owns the restaurant greeted us with such warmth and kindness and invited us to sit wherever we felt comfortable. You can immediately tell this is a place built on heart, humility, and truly good people. The service stood out in the best way. I asked whether the Caesar dressing contained anchovies due to a pregnancy restriction, and although our server wasn't completely sure, he handled it with care and thoughtfulness. He brought the dressing on the side and offered to swap it entirely out of an abundance of caution, which meant a lot and showed how much they value their guests' comfort. And the food. Absolutely delicious. Every dish tasted fresh and authentic, and the sauces alone are worth coming back for. You can tell everything is made with intention and pride. What really makes this place special, though, is the feeling you leave with. By the end of dinner, it doesn't feel like you just ate at a restaurant. It feels like you were welcomed into a family.
