Duck Donuts is excellent, their donuts are freshly made, hot, flavorful and they have combinations I wouldn't think of on my own. The hot donuts melt in your mouth due to the soft texture of the bread, and the toppings are not too sweet. The distribution of the toppings could be better, such as when they put the bacon on top, but otherwise I highly recommend and will be back! read more

Most of them were 4.2/5.0 but the peanut was 3.0/5.0 and the blueberry was 4.6/5.0 and my personal favorite, cinnamon bun and s'mores were a 4.9/5.0. The lady who helped us was great as well. I never knew this place existed until after walking out of the next door urgent care and in a mood to cheer ourselves up with a donut. We walked in and we're in awe at the made to order donut selection. Price was right and options were plenty. He ordered the cinnamon sugar and I ordered the maple bacon. Both were delivered fresh and warm and in compostable boxes that we reused for lunches before throwing in our bio bin. Cinnamon sugar was amazing. I do like that the donuts are warm when you order them and they were ready fast. The problem I had was the glaze all over my box. I set my box on my seat in the car and guess what, there was icing on my seat. I picked up the box and guess what, there was icing on my hand. That's so annoying; also wanna point out that the inside of the place where the workers are looks pretty messy, I guess it's hard to avoid being messy when you're making donuts to order but I think they should get a better system because it just kind of looked unsanitary and as if they don't care. I didn't know you could make your own, which might be a cool option for some but I decided to select a few from their menu. I ordered the vanilla with vanilla frosting/salted caramel drizzle and toffee crunches, the blueberry cake, and the maple and bacon donut. My favorite were the toffee crunch and blueberry. The donuts have weight/density to them, but it was all flavor (instead of what tasted like a mouthful of dry bread with another donut chain I tried). The maple bacon wasn't bad, but I think I like the one from Sugar Shack better. So what I'm discovering in my donut adventures is that some donut creations are done better in certain stores than others, and that I can't say that I like one particular place over all the others. Delicious donuts with a ton of variety. The donuts are made to order so it takes a little bit of time for them to be prepared, but they come out warm and melt-in-the-mouth. The coffee is good too. Also the staff was extremely polite and gracious. Even though we were probably exceedingly annoying ordering each of our dozen donuts, the cashier was very patient. It's a pretty plain-looking shop and the staff can get backed up with orders, so ordering ahead is a good idea. But well worth the wait! read more

From the moment we walked in customer service was non-existent and basically unacceptable We ordered ahead and walked in to no greeting or anything. As they continued to give out orders they never acknowledged us once. We were standing right at the counter! They walked up and away multiple times and never said a word. We spoke up about being unacknowledged and asked about the order and were told that it wasn't ours and the young man pulled a receipt to say it was ours and he was going to get it started. First, how do you know it's ours if you haven't said 1 word to us since we walked thru the door? Do we just happen look like the name on the receipt? My mind went so many places that I will not repeat. But then to top it off, a man who came in and ordered got his dozen donuts before us! So we ordered 2 hours in advance and stood at the counter being ignored, yet you allegedly know that particular receipt was ours, but never made our order? And we still had to wait behind a walk-in customer? Got it. And the young man behind the counter had a slight attitude about it and kept apologizing in the most patronizing way possible. I was ready to go at that point. Then the cashier came over and tried to joke it off to lighten the mood. Nope. We ordered our donuts around 4 pm for 6:30 pickup. We arrived at 6:30. We didn't get our donuts until 6:45. Another issue I have with this place is that there are boxes stacked up behind the counter (where they ice the donuts) like they just moved in or are about to move out. Not only is it an eye sore, it's unsanitary! A breeding ground for rodents and bugs, perhaps? I can't believe management is okay with that.
