Absolutely, the key component here is the donut! I did not understand until I experienced this delight. The ambience is strictly storefront. Very clean, but not exceptional and there is no place to sit down to eat your purchase. The service was effective, but not more. The representative responded to my greeting, took my order, and made the dough. She did a good job, but it was nothing extraordinary. The doughnut itself, however, was amazing... Unique way of making donuts here where they cook all donuts fresh for you, so nothing has been sitting in the case for hours. As far as I can tell, all donuts start with the basic vanilla donut then they add various toppings to create the various flavored donuts. I tried the key lime pie pop donut and enjoyed it. Service is fast with everything being freshly made so your food will be hot and fresh. There's no place to sit inside and the store is small, so you can eat at one of the tables outside if the weather is good. If not, you'll have to take it home to eat. I enjoyed this place and might go back if I'm in the area, but it's not worth a special trip. read more

A business associate of mine loves this place. He could be correct, that first you need to try the original location in North Carolina. The maple and chocolate bacon donut was interesting, and I admire the handiwork of the employees. They are creative. They have quite a few wacky flavors, which is innovative, if you're looking for something different than Dunkin or Krispy Kreme. All of the folks working here are fun, polite, and efficient. Yet the coffee needs to be strengthened. When I have donuts I want 10W30 Marine Corps java. That's not happening here, as it's ordinary with just a regular taste. I'll give it a like, but I'm more a fan of the competition. Bias alert being from Boston where Dunkie is king. I love utilizing their app to order ahead and pickup. Used it several times to order ahead and when I go to pick it up, it was warm and ready. No real area to sit inside to eat but there's plenty of seating outside. Donuts are delicious when it's fresh. Pickup staff hasn't been very friendly and hard to engage when you walk in because it almost seems like they avoid eye contact but once you're able to get their attention, they give your donut without any trouble. I wouldn't say friendly staff but present. They need to come up with better system for pickups. read more

New location has a lot of bugs to work out. Donuts and breakfast sandwiches are okay, but not worth the wait or price in my opinion. Go early, because I'm sure wait times are ridiculous later in the morning. At 6am I placed on online order for 6:45am: a spooky box and a breakfast sandwich. My order wasn't ready until 6:55am. There was only one other customer in the store. The one employee present seemed disgruntled because some of her coworkers didn't show up to work. When I got to work I realized the donuts in my box looked more like a duck dozen than the spooky box I had ordered. The whole concept of made to order donuts seems overrated. They are all the same cake donuts just with different toppings. Waiting for employees to decorate each donut while you wait seems highly inefficient and I don't feel they taste any fresher than if they had been made in batches that morning like they do at Dunkin Donuts for example. Plus the cost is pretty high. Over $22 for a dozen donuts... that feels excessive, especially for what you get here. The breakfast sandwich tasted fine, but no better than if you had microwaved a frozen breakfast sandwich yourself. They have a workstation with precooked pieces, and based on your order they assemble your sandwich and heat it in a commercial microwave. It wasn't anything special, and not cheap. I had to try them. There was a lot of hype about this location opening. But I find myself wishing it was an old fashioned donut shop instead. I wouldn't go out if your way for donuts here. Stopped in here on a whim on my way to pick up Starbucks coffee. It's a little overwhelming trying to choose a flavor because there are so many! However I chose a lemon raspberry and a strawberry sprinkle. The photos in store look great! However they make the donuts to order which ordinarily would be great but in this case putting decorations on hot donuts meant most of the glaze is on the box and not on the donut. Flavor wise they are ok but honestly not really worth the price or effort to make an extra stop here. If they had donuts ready made and the glaze didn't drip off maybe I'd give 4 stars. I've seen some poor reviews of this place however I attribute those to being the early days since it opened. I went about a week ago and had a very different experience. See my ratings below: Ambiance: 3/5 it was packed due to the popularity and the seating was outside. Understandable as this is not a place to come and hang out and is more to grab your order and go. Price: 3.5/5 the donuts are a bit expensive but I believe it's reasonable as they are specialty and the flavors are very unique. Food: 5/5 the donuts were fantastic. Of the ones I had the maple bacon and the s'mores one were my favorites. When warm, they simply melt in your mouth and the combination of the sweetness from maple bacon with the donut is absolutely perfect. Service: 5/5 the place was packed but the workers were really pushing to complete orders. My order came out perfect and I was very satisfied. Do not expect to get your order on time. And make sure you check your order before leave. From my experience, I had to wait another 15 minutes for my mobile order(15 minutes after my estimated pick-up time) and I had to ask for my missing donuts when the male employee said it's ready. I ordered 8, but received only 6 donuts at the first place. And there were at least 8 people waiting at the time I was being told to pick up. I think they need better experienced managers to take care of these situations. Because it looks like they couldn't handle the situation. All the icing and sauces were all messed. I know they were all busy pulling up the customer's order. Still, It is a new store, and I expect much clean looking facility when it's an open kitchen, especially. First weekend review. I placed an order online via their website at 745am, the estimated pickup time was 815am. We arrived on time to pickup, the place is tiny and there was no clear system. People had been waiting for their online orders for 30+ minutes, in addition to the insanely long non-online order line. We asked about the order at 845 and were told they were making it... 20 minute later, still nothing. Asked again and they had still not started it. Finally at 915 we got the donuts. We got a Spooky box, the donuts were great, but if they don't get things organized, I don't know how they'll make it. We're definitely not in any rush to go back. Also, the app order system wasn't working (though there was no indication of that until you hit the submit button) and the phone number on the "Call now" button that is on Facebook links to the wrong phone number. read more

I should preface this with the fact that I don't usually care for donuts...but I love these! They are delicious without being too sweet. They always taste fresh, and are the perfect size for me. (my favorite is the maple bacon donut YUMMMMM) I really like the coffee, too! The staff is nice, and the ambiance is very small (it's definitely a walk in and take home environment) but fun as you get to watch them make your donuts! They have sooooo many kinks to work out. They were not ready to open. I ordered a cold brew and a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. The cold brew tasted like burnt coffee grounds. I took 2 drinks and tossed it and my sandwich was cold.. like the frozen egg still had ice crystals on it in the middle and the cheese was definitely not melted. I ended up tossing the whole order, $14 down the drain. On top of it their little warmer oven had something burning in it so although cold the food still tasted burned and the whole shop was smoky. I placed an order ahead of time and paid prior to arriving for pickup, i waited about 40 minutes before I talked to the manager and they "didn't have a record of my order" but refused to give me a refund so I had to wait at the register another 20 minutes until they finally printed out a receipt and started making it. An hour and a half for 12 doughnuts is actually pretty impressive. There was also a huge line inside/outside with no one saying the names/order numbers and just stacking them on a table near the entrance that was in the employee only area. This location is struggling. The donuts were tasty but they were so far behind in their order completion that it took us 4 different tries over the span of 2 days to finally get our donuts. Every time we would go in to get some help, the line was out the door and there was no manager present. The box was also very sticky with chocolate sauce on it because the counter they sit the boxes on was a mess. I couldn't set the box down anywhere in my car and had to clean it when I got home.
