I really wanted to love these donuts - they're so pretty, and the woman who helped me was great - but unfortunately, they were very dry. They definitely taste better warmed up, but I don't like when they're dry right from pickup.

Delicious! I've always passed the spot but never tried it. They've always looked so good! Today I needed something sweet to eat and stopped by. She had some really interesting flavors I wanted to try but ran out. That's okay, I'll be back, especially for that strawberry chai. Today I got the huckleberry cake and blueberry basil. Both were really good but I loved the base on the huckleberry more, I like the denseness of it. I'm excited to come back and try more!

This is in the food hall portion of union market. My first thought looking at it is wow that's kind of a lot for a doughnut. But then I actually looked at the donuts and said oh I'll get half a dozen. This actually ended up being seven as apparently one of them came out on the smaller side so they offered me an extra. Having gotten them to share with others, they all ended up disappearing quickly, and I only got a little taste of the passionfruit one myself, which did deliver on flavor. It was a splendid looking spread, and the flavor choices were distinctive. Their website states that they are considering doing options for special dietary needs, but at the moment this is not the place for that. Perhaps they will expand into their own store.

Yummy donuts inside Union Market! They're not cheap but they're tasty and so worth it! There was a line here and I can see why! It's just that good. It was really hard to pick but I went with the brown butter maple and OMG, I want one (or two) like today. I always say I'm not huge on sweets, but this place is going to make me return soon. The service was top notch! Thank you!!

While out enjoying some beautiful weather in Union market, I noticed that the people next to me were eating donuts. As a self certified donut connoisseur, Sommelier, aficionado, I had to ask where they had purchased them. I also had some friends with me so this was a great opportunity to Induct them in to membership. We chose four donuts. The Matcha berry, the chocolate, the glazed, and the strawberry. The Matcha berry was our absolute favorite. The Matcha was not overly sweet, but gave a nice creamy experience and the very inside was fresh and a beautiful accompaniment to the Matcha. The chocolate is definitely a dark chocolate so it's a bit bitter. If you're looking for a sweet chocolate experience, this is not the donut for you. The glaze we rated a three on a scale of one to five. The inside was a bit dry and didn't have a great chewy mouth, Deal. The glaze was not overly sweet, which we lied. The other one with strawberry also got a 3.5 because we did enjoy the chewing us and the fresh berry experience. Overall, the donuts were good and when I'm back in the area, I will definitely get the Matcha again.

Brought 6 donuts to a party and they were the most popular item there hands down. I was elated to discover they've an earl grey flavor donut and loved all the different flavors we bought. Will definitely come back again for future to try out other flavors.

Blueberry cheesecake donut

This donut was everything I wanted and more. Look at it, it's perfect. So light and fluffy, every nook and cranny covered in glaze. There was also cheesecake filling beneath those perfectly juicy blueberries. Do you see the lemon zest and rosemary flecks? Like c'mon, no wonder they are called handcraft donuts. I don't even care that this donut was over $7 - it was big and made my day so much better. Please stay in Union market or open a storefront!

Half dozen $30

Handcraft Doughnuts at Union Market is always tempting -- but bring your wallet. I grabbed a half dozen and, while good, they didn't quite wow me. At about $5 each, I expected more decadence. Some were a little dry, and I miss the richer fillings they used to offer. Overall taste? A 7.5/10. Still a solid spot if you get there early (they often sell out by the afternoon), but at these prices, I may pass next time

I absolutely LOVE these doughnuts! They're not too doughy! They're light and the perfect amount of sweat! ALLLLLLL the flavors, EVERY SINGLE FLAVOR IS delicious! It's genuinely difficult to choose and not get all of them every time! Everyone that works here is amazingly kind and they're always smiling. Always positive vibes and good eats! It's currently 1am & I want some right now LOL!!!

Got the yuzu ganache and I actually could taste the citrus. Loved the variety of flavors, they all looked so good. The donut dough itself was a little cakes for me but I still enjoyed it.

Banana cream donut

Service is great the individual shared suggestions based on her actively engaging in conversation with me to figure out my preference. But the actual donut was dry and lacked sweetness. Got the banana cream donut 5/10 too dry not enough filling

Top: Blueberry basil, Bottom: Strawberry chai

Honestly, it's more like a 3.5 imo. I tried the strawberry chai and the blueberry basil donuts. Generally speaking, they were a little doughier and denser than I would like for a brioche donut but tbh I purchased them an hour before closing time. The strawberry chai was my favorite of the 2 just because I feel like it had a little more going on. It was topped with a generous amount of powdered sugar and about half of it was filled with a strawberry compote. My guess is the chai flavoring was incorporated into the dough for this one, but it was incredibly subtle. The blueberry basil frosting itself was amazing. It was so strong without being artificial or sickeningly sweet, but there wasn't a hint of basil that I was able to find and the donut wasn't filled or anything, so it relied heavily on the frosting. I love a good sweet treat, but I don't think this would be my first choice in Union Market,

cookie n cream and glazed buttermilk donuts

if you like salty donuts or lemon bread, this is the place. I ordered cookie n cream thinking it was sweet but it salty. I tried glazed one as well but it tastes lemon which i'm not big fan of. other donut looked good tho.

Staff was very commentating put my issue is that the service staff upon arriving we received it and we were told that a group of Aiden More would be obviously more but Moving forward skip past we seated in our server. I forget the name and I will find out again. A game moving forward were accommodated as two different seats. There was a kids table, and there was an adult table. All the initial orders came from the adult table, but the server decided to ring in from the children's table when initially that was not how the order method rolled Anything ordered from the adult table, but this server decides to go to the children's table and orders takes in orders from the kids and as a parent very concerning one because said there had been an allergy that we did not know about and said that, but anyhow, the food orders that were coming from the children's table were rang in I just so happened to look up and I see the server at the kids table and she's reading stuff for the children when that's not how it goes if the initial order came in. From the pants table then only the parents should be ordering food so at the end of the night we received the bill and there are items that the kids ordered that the server did not check with the adult. Who initially did to order God forbid that there were any allergies that were not taking any consideration. God forbid there were any intolerance that were taken into consideration. God forbid that anyone gotten sick because the server did not Come to the parents table but automatically and we're not talking oh one order or two order we're talking about multiple orders of things that these children don't know it was a lovely experience. Truly, it was but for this to happen and for us to get a bill that the server decided on her own that it's OK to take a Orders from a child when the initiating ordering party was from the adult table is my issue at a lot of mission star places we do not allow children or servers to make an or place orders. I am writing this review and I plan antennal going to the next platform to write the same review because this cannot happen one of the children from the party that was not even the party one of the initial children from the gathering has so many allergenic red flags where we need the server to confirm verify first and confirm orders with the adults

Best of all, there are mini donuts that are 1/2 of the size of the regular donuts (they have both!). The Classic flavors, mostly cake donuts are in the back while the seasonal yeast donuts and specialty pastries (croissant donut hybrids) are in the display case in the front. The issue is that while the donuts in the front are neatly labeled, the labels are teeny-tiny for the donuts in the back and impossible to read. I wish the labels were larger and there was a large menu for the full list of donuts (instead of the small chalkboard for just seasonal donuts). The super fluffy and moist cake Cider Cake Glazed hit the spot! Even though I prefer warm cider cake donuts, I didn't mind that it was room temperature. I couldn't resist the temptation to save the donut for the kids and noshed on the full donut not even leaving a crumb to spare! Nom nom nom. The seasonal (Sept & March) Brown Sugar Bourbon donut was fun to try. It was topped with delicious maple cinnamon frosting with a custard filling. While I couldn't taste the Bourbon flavor, the donut was tasty. The Mocha Donut filled with Mocha buttercream hit the spot! The seasonal (March) Matcha Latte cake Donut was divine! The seasonal (Oct) Caramel Apple Crumble Donut hit the spot with a maple salted caramel frosting and apple pie filling. I wasn't a fan of the Salted Caramel Cider or the Chocolate Cake donuts. They were a bit dry and after a couple of bites, I threw in the towel on both donuts. I also didn't like the Hazelnut cream donut (not a Nutella or ganache frosting that I expected). The Matcha donut filled with strawberry cream (April special) wasn't that good, the cream was way too sweet. Will come back for the Glazed Cider and seasonal donuts!

Since this…read morerestaurant had been on my radar for quite a while, I was glad for the opportunity to attend the Yelp event as it gave me an opportunity to sample their food. What I sampled tasted good. This past Saturday, we finally got here. We came by for an early dinner and were seated and greeted in a prompt fashion. We noticed that their bar was doing a good business but the dining area only had one other occupied table. Right away, we noticed that the chairs sat low to the ground. As a short person, I felt like I was a little kid sitting at the adult table. Plus, the table was wobbly. We found out just how wobbly it was when my husband cut his burger in half which caused my glass of water to splash some on the table. All in all, not a comfortable way to eat. Our server came to our table in a timely fashion and took our drink orders. My husband had an O'Doul's non-alcoholic beer while I ordered a drink (I think this was the name) "watermelon sugar high". As for the drink, in addition to watermelon, it had a lime wedge and a big sprig of basil. The end result was that the basil overtook the watermelon. For dinner, I ordered "Seared Branzino" which consists of: "asparagus au gratin, smoked potato and corn". My husband ordered the "Angus Burger" which consists of: "cheddar cheese, steak sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle spear". For his side, he chose fries. My branzino was properly prepared. The fish was flakey and moist while the skin had a nice crunch to it. Underneath the fish was the asparagus au gratin which had melted mild cheddar on top of it. Under the asparagus was the mashed potatoes which didn't even have a hint of smokey flavor. In addition to the corn, were what looked like (and tasted like) very tiny tomatoes. The asparagus was properly prepared as it was tender crisp plus the portion was generous. Overall, the fish and the asparagus were the stars of this dish. My husband thought his burger was moist. He ordered it "medium". The one thing he didn't like --- the roll didn't stand up well as it started to disintegrate as he ate. Overall, we had no regrets trying Art and Soul but we aren't in any rush to return.
