They are not a part of dunkin rewards - A printed sign on a terrazzo floor features a QR code, promotional text for donuts, and a restaurant number, with some damage and creases.

The only reason this location has more than one star was the frankness & friendliness of the gentleman behind the counter. The offeringhs were sparse and more than a few people left without purchasing anything. It was quite disappointing that they did not take the rewards program ontop the of them not having oatmilk while touting it. Very disappointing to say in the least.

Large blueberry iced tea. $3.15.

Dunkin' Donuts in the hood! A franchise can't make too many mistakes, can it? Yes. This is a warning to anyone wanting a pop up business franchise and expecting it to draw in customers based on the name. Thank God for Yelp, because it has protected many a customer from wasting many dollar bills on false advertising. When you spend the amount of money that they charge in this station or DC area, you had better get your money's worth. Either they are not paying enough to keep decent employees or they are not training employees what people want in their service and food. The results are always marginal if not inedible here. Service is comparable to a kids lemonade stand where they are mixing this and that, taking money, talking and who knows what with your food. I can't only think that the owners do not live around here or own too many businesses to know what is happening in this store. They obviously do not give a crap. The franchise ought to inspect each location to ensure it's meeting it's image. They would freak out if they ever came here. As anywhere else, the homeless camp right next to the counter like pigeons, I wouldn't be surprised if employees threw a donut or donut holes over the rope when the lines diminish. I noticed that they hide the napkins behind the sign at the pick up counter. The worst feeling is when the order is taken by someone that does not know their products, what they have in stock, how to make a drink to spec, or does not understand English to even get the order correct. Do not own a chain. Just do not lure people in and give them what they do not want. Hire people that actually drink the product and know what it should taste like. Cover the food, especially when it sits in the open right next to the metro escalator throughway. To the customer: Buy your donuts in the morning when the delivery arrives and before their workers ( I'll call her Carrie) start picking at them. Order something simple or go to Chick fil or McDonald's down the opposite end for iced coffee or breakfast that is comparable. If you go to Starbucks, you may be further disappointed because the quality for the price is not there.

Brand new in the food court of Union Station

So far so good. Glad Dunkys finally decided to open a location in Union Station. It's on the lower level in the food court near the Metro entrance. I went at about 7:45 pm so it wasn't busy at all. The server was friendly and they had unsweet iced tea available. This is a blessing at this time of night, even more so since it is the middle of January. There are lots of little tables in front of the eatery and there are more scattered throughout the food court and upstairs if you don't want to stay here. The food court is usually jammed during rush hours and is busy during the day so it will be worth an updated review after I come back during one of those times.

I asked for a sesame bagel and cream cheese on the side , I got a everything bagel yuck!, and the lid was not on cup I burnt myself,

Lid not on coffee burnt myself, Splenda in my coffee, I asked for regular sugar,I asked for a sesame bagel and got a everything bagel it's disgusting, one worker cussing and complaining about a customer. U need better management at this site

So gross

This is a fun place to end date night or visit with friends while sightseeing seeing in DC. Dolcezza is inside Palmer Alley, a fun place to take pictures. Visitors will find upscale shops and other restaurants in the immediate area. Chinatown Metro or Convention Center metro are a few blocks away. Paid metered parking is hit or miss. There are garages nearby. This place is worth a visit (or more).

Famous Chef Thomas Reviews: Dolcezza (Washington, DC)…read more The Famous Chef Thomas visited Dolcezza in Washington, DC, expecting a proper café experience, especially at the prices being charged. When a place is asking $4 to $7 for tea or a latte, there is an obligation to deliver something above the level of a bargain counter operation. Instead, the Famous Chef Thomas was handed a tea cup with the tea bag resting on top, wasting valuable brewing time and shifting the work onto the customer like some cheap do-it-yourself setup. That may be understandable at McDonald's for $1.79, but at Dolcezza it is unacceptable. At these prices, the worker should have already put the tea bag in the cup, added the honey, and served a finished product with care. Do not charge premium café prices and then behave like preparation is somehow the customer's responsibility. And to casually tell the customer that the honey is over at the stand only adds insult to laziness. Hospitality is not pointing. Hospitality is serving. What makes it worse is that this place has clearly declined from where it was when it first opened years ago. The standards are slipping, and it shows in more than one way. The table was dirty, and because this visit was early in the morning, that dirt had to be left over from the previous day. That is not a small oversight. That is evidence of poor closeout, poor maintenance, and weak attention to detail. Then came the final insult: too many bugs. The Famous Chef Thomas had to kill them or dodge them just to sit there, which made it impossible to enjoy the experience without feeling like he was in a battle against being bitten. A café cannot expect customers to relax, sip tea, and enjoy themselves while swatting pests away from the table. Dolcezza is charging as if it still deserves a premium reputation, but the service, cleanliness, and overall execution no longer support it. Premium prices require premium standards. The Famous Chef Thomas did not receive them here. The verdict: lazy service, dirty conditions, bugs, and a café experience that has fallen far below its old standard. The Famous Chef Thomas is not impressed
