I'm so glad I stopped by Dunkin' today! I opened the app and found out it was National Coffee Day, so of course I had to take advantage of the free medium iced coffee. I always recommend opening the app for any business you are loyal to before purchasing because you never know what kind of Rewards you can redeem. I also ordered the Bagel Bites and the Tiramisu Cloud Latte, and let me tell you... that marshmallow cold foam was AMAZING. I originally wanted the strawberry cold foam, but the employee told me that the drink already came with marshmallow foam and that it was really delicious. I trusted him, and he was absolutely right! The Everything Bagel Bites are also SO good. The cream cheese filling is delicious, and they were the perfect little breakfast to go with my coffee. And I can't forget my favorite donut from Dunkin': the chocolate-filled doughnut with sweet cream. That one is always a must for me! Honestly, Dunkin' hit the spot at 5 in the morning. Needs better management oversight I placed a mobile order because the drive-thru line was about 15 cars deep. While waiting inside for my order, I noticed four young employees who appeared far more focused on socializing than on serving customers. I mobile ordered at 8:43 am and didn't get it until 9 am. My friend mobile ordered after me at 8:47 am and got her order before me. It was not busy when I placed my order but there were several large groups of people that ordered after me in store that also got their order before me. When my friend went to receive her order, which was not announced to the room that it was ready for pick up, she asked about my order and no one responded to her about its status. All the orders that seemed to be completed were turned away from the customers and placed closest towards the employee's work area, making it difficult to verify that their order was complete and ready for pick up. Understandably it was getting busy, but please give the same amount of customer service to mobile orders as is given to those who orders in store. Donut judge... I've always thought of stopping here whenever I'm in the area but especially in the day the drive thru line is insanely long and on this Sunday afternoon though it would be a great place for a place to catch up on things. Walking in it's nice to see it all clean and organized with just a person taking full advantage of the work area where there's a designated USB and outlet for you to plug in your electronics is very nice and appreciated. A sip and bite in a nice and air conditioned store is not the easiest to find and thought why not to a little treat though after viewing their menu and seeing the flies buzzzing around the donuts it kinda ruined the vibe though not to deter my situation decided to order their Strawberry Refresher and hash browns. The refresher was a bit too sweet for me though it did have a nice mix between oatmilk and strawberry but didn't really do it for me but the hash browns I did love and it actually had some herb/thanksgiving flavor that did surprised me quite a bit lol. The staff polite though not friendly as I didn't get the thank you or a proper greet...very basic and still not sure if I'll ever get a donut from here though is a nice rest stop in the area. Love using the Dunkin' app for extra savings and promotions. I usually order through the app so I can rack up points to redeem for future drinks and snacks. I prefer to pick up inside since the drive-thru can get busy at times. I like that they have plenty of outlet stations in case you need to charge your phone or get some quick work done on your laptop. The restrooms are spacious, wheelchair accessible, and even have a baby-changing station. You can choose between the air dryer or paper towels, which I love since I have sensory issues lol. Drive thru was the worst I've ever experienced. 1) Arrived at drive thru: 09:15 AM. Eight cars in front of me. 2) 10 minutes later, three cars ahead of me pulled out of line to park and go inside instead. I'm now 5th in line. 3) Order received at window: 10:05 AM. Happened to be passing by a Dunkin' Donuts, and quickly checked my DD app. Ofc, they had some awesome deals that I had to use. Buy a medium or large coffee and get a free bakery treat! Ended up getting a Nutty Pumpkin Hot Coffee with almond milk and whipped cream (I know *sigh* What's the point of getting almond milk if I'm adding on whipped cream?) and 2 Cookie Butter Donuts. The flavor of the coffee was like drinking Christmas if that makes any sense lol. It tasted like a nice blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar. This coffee (ofc) was on the sweet side, but the sweetness was still tolerable to me with small sips while piping hot. I was really excited to try the Cookie Butter Donut since it was sold out the last time I came by. The crumbles on top of this donut tasted like toasted maple syrup. I was loving this donut UNTIL I reached the filling. After a few bites with the filling, I felt like someone dumped a cup full of sugar into my mouth. This was way to sweet for me. I mean, I did eat the whole thing, but I had to force myself to finish it while guzzling it down with my coffee. I was happy to try this holiday themed donut, but I will stick to my plain glazed donut tyvm. And if I want to get fancy, I'll ask for a vanilla frosted with sprinkles donut instead. This was a drive thru experience. The workers here have always been nice. One star off was for past experiences of ordering and paying for items on the app that were not available at pickup via drive thru. I definitely like this location. It had a few tables inside to enjoy your drinks and doughnuts. It also has a drive thru to get your drinks. My friend and I decided to hang out inside to enjoy our drinks it was nice and cool inside. To use the restroom, you have to ask for the key to use it as it's only one big restroom inside. Went the other day and got some munchkins, I cannot believe what they were charging for them 10 for $7 and change. That's over $.70 per donut hole. I will not go to Dunkin' Donuts anymore. Things are expensive enough in Hawaii but some companies just don't care and rip people off every day. People need to stop supporting these businesses including grocery stores. If you stop paying their high prices then they will be throwing food etc. out and maybe they will reduce prices but it's up to the consumer. I've been all of the place with this review. Some years bad, some good, now back to bad. Long story short its been consistently bad. All new folks. Ive had a consistent amount of stale donuts, stale coffee that taste like dirt (literally) or extremely smokey. Burnt sandwhiches and overall the stuff just taste like reheats from days ago. Placed another order one more time a couple nights ago after taking a long break. Went through, they told me im good, but i catch that they forgot an item. The employee was very pleasant and helpful. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is that the employee was not a coffee drinker, so she couldn't give me suggestions. This is an average of 2 visits... first visit was 5 stars... second was sadly only 1. So good news first, and the reason we came back!! The bacon sandwich was yummy! Tasty fresh flavors. Bagel was wonderfully soft and that great fresh chew. Donuts were on point as well!! Very stuffed with soft fluffy dough. But now the not so good news... we dropped by today and ordered a bagel, a couple donuts, and a side of bacon. Took us 20 minutes to get to our destination. By that time, the bacon fat had dripped out of its tiny pouch and congealed all over my wrapped bagel. No harm to the bagel but I can't say the same for my hands and clothes :( The bagel? Only half edible. The outer edge was soooo hard. Like stale hard, not over toasted hard. And the edible part was only barely. I have finally come home to Dunkin. I remember when I was in the DMV area, dunkin is my must-have morning task, actually pretty high in my priority list. Unlike many dunkins I have been to, this location has drive thru which you think it's more convenient, faster, and quicker service. Wrong! My first experience was horrible. They move the drive thru line very slowly. 4 cars and it took more than 25 minutes until I get to the menu board. The order taker was not very friendly at all. Common etiquette when working at the drive thru, you do not wait more than 3 seconds before you get to greet the person on the other side. Customer service 101 is always always start with the greetings of the day, and then take the order. Two stars for getting my order right. I've been to this Dunkin Donuts in Kapolei a few times. Walked in and placed a few coffee orders. Generally, decent quality and customer service...did get one order incorrect however. Well, with the Omicron variant on the increase - the Kapolei DD only allows drive-thru orders. I decided to try the DD drive-thru fir the first time. Downloaded their app and placed an order. But they didn't have the coffee that I wanted. So, I ordered the DD original blend and a Stroop Waffel Donut. But that donut wasn't available. Finally got my order placed on the app by ordering a double chocolate donut. Drive up to the speaker/mic box and they tell me they are out of the donut I ordered...ordered another donut, yup...not available. Requested a chocolate glazed and got that instead. Ordered my normal and asked for Splenda to be added to be mixed into it. When driving away noticed it tasted different do looked on the cup and it said cane sugar added. Wrong again as this has happened before! They do not even give you a receipt when you buy your items in the drive through unless you ask for it and I forgot to but on the last occasion I did my purchase on, when I asked for a receipt, it seemed like a bother and then when I did the survey to get the free donut, it did not ask for an email so no coupon for a free donut was issued.
