There's an event happening to see Bretman Rock and to enjoy his new smoothie and the line wraps around the entire building. Thank goodness Dunkin' had AC, available seats to rest my feet, and a nice $6 meal deal to sweeten the experience even more. They have the cutest donut hearts right now. Water is $0.79 but worth it for the large cup they give out. I am grateful for Dunkin' more today than other days. I was sleep walking outside. I now have the energy to wait another hour. Let's go! Love using the Dunkin' app for extra savings and promotions. I usually order through the app so I can rack up points to redeem for future drinks and snacks. I prefer to pick up inside since the drive-thru can get busy at times. I like that they have plenty of outlet stations in case you need to charge your phone or get some quick work done on your laptop. The restrooms are spacious, wheelchair accessible, and even have a baby-changing station. You can choose between the air dryer or paper towels, which I love since I have sensory issues lol. Donut judge... I've always thought of stopping here whenever I'm in the area but especially in the day the drive thru line is insanely long and on this Sunday afternoon though it would be a great place for a place to catch up on things. Walking in it's nice to see it all clean and organized with just a person taking full advantage of the work area where there's a designated USB and outlet for you to plug in your electronics is very nice and appreciated. A sip and bite in a nice and air conditioned store is not the easiest to find and thought why not to a little treat though after viewing their menu and seeing the flies buzzzing around the donuts it kinda ruined the vibe though not to deter my situation decided to order their Strawberry Refresher and hash browns. The refresher was a bit too sweet for me though it did have a nice mix between oatmilk and strawberry but didn't really do it for me but the hash browns I did love and it actually had some herb/thanksgiving flavor that did surprised me quite a bit lol. Drive thru was the worst I've ever experienced. 1) Arrived at drive thru: 09:15 AM. Eight cars in front of me. 2) 10 minutes later, three cars ahead of me pulled out of line to park and go inside instead. I'm now 5th in line. 3) Order received at window: 10:05 AM. Went the other day and got some munchkins, I cannot believe what they were charging for them 10 for $7 and change. That's over $.70 per donut hole. I will not go to Dunkin' Donuts anymore. Things are expensive enough in Hawaii but some companies just don't care and rip people off every day. People need to stop supporting these businesses including grocery stores. If you stop paying their high prices then they will be throwing food etc. out and maybe they will reduce prices but it's up to the consumer. Happened to be passing by a Dunkin' Donuts, and quickly checked my DD app. Ofc, they had some awesome deals that I had to use. Buy a medium or large coffee and get a free bakery treat! Ended up getting a Nutty Pumpkin Hot Coffee with almond milk and whipped cream (I know *sigh* What's the point of getting almond milk if I'm adding on whipped cream?) and 2 Cookie Butter Donuts. The flavor of the coffee was like drinking Christmas if that makes any sense lol. It tasted like a nice blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar. This coffee (ofc) was on the sweet side, but the sweetness was still tolerable to me with small sips while piping hot. I was really excited to try the Cookie Butter Donut since it was sold out the last time I came by. The crumbles on top of this donut tasted like toasted maple syrup. I was loving this donut UNTIL I reached the filling. After a few bites with the filling, I felt like someone dumped a cup full of sugar into my mouth. This was way to sweet for me. I mean, I did eat the whole thing, but I had to force myself to finish it while guzzling it down with my coffee. I was happy to try this holiday themed donut, but I will stick to my plain glazed donut tyvm. And if I want to get fancy, I'll ask for a vanilla frosted with sprinkles donut instead. I have finally come home to Dunkin. I remember when I was in the DMV area, dunkin is my must-have morning task, actually pretty high in my priority list. Unlike many dunkins I have been to, this location has drive thru which you think it's more convenient, faster, and quicker service. Wrong! My first experience was horrible. They move the drive thru line very slowly. 4 cars and it took more than 25 minutes until I get to the menu board. The order taker was not very friendly at all. Common etiquette when working at the drive thru, you do not wait more than 3 seconds before you get to greet the person on the other side. Customer service 101 is always always start with the greetings of the day, and then take the order. Two stars for getting my order right. I've been to this Dunkin Donuts in Kapolei a few times. Walked in and placed a few coffee orders. Generally, decent quality and customer service...did get one order incorrect however. Well, with the Omicron variant on the increase - the Kapolei DD only allows drive-thru orders. I decided to try the DD drive-thru fir the first time. Downloaded their app and placed an order. But they didn't have the coffee that I wanted. So, I ordered the DD original blend and a Stroop Waffel Donut. But that donut wasn't available. Finally got my order placed on the app by ordering a double chocolate donut. Drive up to the speaker/mic box and they tell me they are out of the donut I ordered...ordered another donut, yup...not available. Requested a chocolate glazed and got that instead. The store is never open, you have to do mobile order or sit in a huge slow moving drive thru line. I asked last time here about dining room and ability to go in, if that would change any time soon, girl at drive through was annoyed and said we're short staffed....thats it! Fast fwd more than a month, the little one wants donuts again, and, same thing. So, this time I do the mobile order, from the car sitting in the parking lot. I wait about 15 minutes, then go in to pick up my order. Everyone is standing there, asking people if they come in if they did mobile order, as you say yes, they ask for the information on your mobile order; THEN they proceed to fill the order. How inefficient is that? What is the purpose of doing the mobile order? The whole experience here is just a disappointment, I realize it is just grabbing donuts, but It really shouldn't be that difficult. Maybe if the Service was good and people were nice and pleasant, perhaps it wouldn't be that big of a deal and everyone can be more understanding. But they are far from friendly.
