Went in today around 5:45pm. Got to the counter, scanned the menu board real quick and didn't see the munchkins, so I asked the tall skinny guy, "How are they sold? In a dozen, a half a dozen?" He said I can order any amount I want, even 1 if I want. I said ok, I'll take 6, then he says how about I give you 10 and charge you for 5. That should have been a red flag, I said no I'll just take 6, and I'll take a medium chocolate shake. So he rings me up, I pay, then goto the bathroom to wash my hands, I come out, I was only in the bathroom about 45 seconds, and he says my order is ready? That should have been my 2nd red flag. I own an icecream shop it takes a good 2-3 minutes to make a shake with hard serve icecream. I take the order and my receipt. I get home, which is literally just around the corner, through the back parking lot and I look at my receipt. 1. He charged me for a medium shake and a small cup of coffee, even though I ordered a medium shake and 6 munchkins. 2. He gave me 13 munchkins, instead of the 6 I ordered. This is outright theft, if this was one of my employees they would be fired. 3. The shake was literal milk. From the time I grabbed the shake to the time I got home, not more than 3 minutes had past. Attached is a video of the shake. I don't think ice cream was used in this at all. I never seen it scooped, I never heard a blender, nothing. 4. It amazes me that some businesses can be so bad and still manage to keep their doors open. In an area where there isn't a lot of competition for a business like DD you would think the opportunity would somehow outweigh the stupidity e.g. the sign on the counter - the lackadaisical customer service here was really unbelievable, there were two working or at least occupying the space behind the counter one completely overwhelmed and lacked any multi-tasking skills to the point it was almost amusing I wanted to just keep ordering things like one donut hole at a time to keep the show going, the second member of the staff was absolutely pathetic, stolid and offered no help to her compadre she may have been the owner for all I know. Walked in. Long line. We ordered through mobile app instead and just sat down. Wasn't in a rush or anything. Counter person, older lady, announced to the restaurant it was rude and unfair to put in a mobile order while standing in line. It would've been no difference had I'd ordered it outside in my car then walked in. She felt the need to make a statement to the restaurant which was totally unnecessary. Won't be back. We stopped in here today for a treat and Bree and Ms. Liz were AWESOME! They took such great care of us. Such nice ladies and we really enjoyed our donuts and ice cream too. I go to Dunkin' every single day where we live and I grew up in Massachusetts so I know what their iced coffee should look and taste like. This place is NOT it! Went twice on our trip and both times the same issue. There was barely any coffee in the cup! I get 1 cream that is it! It tasted like cream water. I politely said I'm so sorry I think something is up with your iced coffee it doesn't taste good. Her response was "what would you like me to do about it?" She made it again and it was the exact same, tasted like cream water. Went back two days later hoping maybe it was just a bad day. Not once have I seen a more disorganized facility with slow employees and the most dirty environment. This place is beyond frustrating when trying to order because the staff can't comprehend the order and make it right. Even if they do it takes half an hour to get the order with no line or busy time. We waited twenty minutes for one breakfast wrap. While others who ordered after us got their order in no time. Furthermore, I got out the Army and came on vacation here to Ana Maria Island with my girlfriend and never have I seen some poor quality from a facility. Even my time in the service beats this customer service. As well, the place is on an island so a bunch of people walk around In bikinis and swimming wear so it would make sense that you see that here on this tropical place. But a worker came up to my lady and told her that she can't be in here due to her bikini top, with covered pants on the bottom. We've been coming here every morning while on vacation, and not one person said anything about it. I would understand if someone was wearing something provocative, but she wasn't. I couldn't even understand her first; let alone comprehend why we were being told that when they just allowed TWO BIG DOGS to walk in and leave their hair around the facility while barking up a storm and trying to leave their owners grip. Beyond disgusting they allow that but not a modest bikini that had no affiliation with the place. Additionally, there is no sign on the facility that states no shirt, no service. Also the worker that walked didn't even look like a Dunkin' worker, leaves her toddler in a booth and the little girl is screaming around; I don't know what kind of "professional" establishment this is or if it's just a norm down here. This was a terrible dunkin' and I usually love Dunkin' Donuts. The place was dirty and my food was mediocre at best. The service was also bad and one server there rudely told us we were not allowed to sit and that's what the wet floor sign was for. Like what the heck, how were we supposed to know. My friend and i went into Dunkin' and noticed that their only worker was sitting outside smoking. Then he ran in and went to the counter. Most disgusting, disappointing Dunkin I've ever been to. It's just down from where we're vacationing and we've given them multiple chances. The very first time was lovely, but every time after that was a disaster. 1) Two employees were arguing very loudly so the lady behind the counter walked away to deal with them and then joined in the argument, then started arguing with another employee about the argument. I was with my 10-year-old and I honestly did not feel safe in there. 2) The next morning my husband went with me and it was a hot mess. I don't think anyone knew how to run the place, my latte was gross, and the vibe was tense. 3) For some reason my husband decided to go later in the day and take our son for ice cream. They stood there just waiting... no employee acknowledged them. Finally a lady came out of the bathroom and one of the employees told her to help them. She told the employee to help them because she was cleaning the bathroom. They were rude to each other and argued. Finally, she took her gloves off to help them. Didn't wash her hands or anything. My husband and son walked out. That's a huge no-go and so gross. I love me a good iced latte, so I'm bummed that this place is a nightmare to walk into. I'd find somewhere else to go! If this were me 2 days ago, when I was here, I would be giving this Dunkin' Donuts a 5 star review. However, today's experience was ever so different. I went in and asked for what I usually get, but when I got my coffee, I was flabbergasted with what I received. When I received my coffee and noticed that it wasn't my usual, I then asked the manager to put more vanilla. Although he did put vanilla, he was very rude with what I had asked. I understand that there's a certain amount of pumps that go into the coffee, etc.. but that nevertheless takes away from customer service. Worst customer service I have ever received. I was here on August 3rd at 12:20 pm. The shift lead was horribly rude to me and the people I was with. I had asked for an iced mocha and I received a black coffee with chocolate syrup. I then asked to have it made with espresso and they dumped out a small bit of the substance they made and added a shot of espresso. I then asked one of the workers if the baskin robins was open and she responded with "clearly not that's why it's covered" and we then asked what time it would be opening and she responded with "I don't know ask the shift manager." TERRIBLE SERVICE! Read entire review: It was a calm afternoon, 4:38pm to be exact, after a quick afternoon shower and lunch at a delicious taco/chipotle style restaurant in Anna Maria Island, FL. My family and I felt in the mood to indulge in what many locals considered to be the "best place to get donuts". Unfortunately The Donut Experiment was closed for the day and options were bleak to say the least, hence why we traveled 15 minutes out of our way to get to the nearest Dunkin Donuts we could find. Boy were we excited! With a car full of kids screaming in the back seat, bellies aching for a delicious sweet treat, we arrived at 3302 E Bay Drive, Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins on Anna Maria Island. Upon exiting our vehicle we caught a whiff of that famous Dunkin smell wafting through the air. Stomachs churning we opened the door...at last we made it. Standing in line with our youngest of three children, she explains how excited she is to get a strawberry frosted donut. I look at the next oldest and she's excited for ice cream, and the third felt just the same. Then, like freight train, the staff destroyed all of our desires to eat anything when we heard, "MOTHERF***ER I DON'T GIVE A DAMN" being screamed from one employee to the other. Distraught, I looked down at my youngest of daughters who was looking back at me asking, "daddy, what is a motherf***er?" The cashier was great loved him. However this morning there was a small line about 5-7 people and the workers were very overwhelmed and one decided to shout out that they would no longer be making any drink with espresso. I was in line for a latte which I was told I couldn't get. Just wanted to give my feedback I tried calling the number listed in the store for feedback which is 407.930.0902 three times but there is no answer and they have no voice mail set up. Not very customer friendly. I think it's absolutely crazy to announce due to the fact they were overwhelmed with a small line. I also want to add I did indeed confirm the espresso machine was not broken or malfunctioned or need cleaned the worker literally said the line is too long we aren't doing espresso drinks. I have never seen this happen at any other establishment. Lastly I would like to add as a customer I am familiar with how lines work and my decision if I would like to wait in line to order. If not I can always leave if I do not have enough time however feel this should be my decision to make not the employees. read more
