This was a disappointing experience. Got there right when they opened... they didn't open on time (15 minutes past their posted time) and there was only one person working the window. It was a 45 plus minute wait (maybe ten people in front of us) and when we got to the front the worker was not friendly whatsoever. Everyone was very patient and kind with him but he clearly didn't want to be there and the donuts were not anything special.

Stopped for donuts for the kids late at night and walked away with a latte and espresso. Surprised by the coffee here, great flavor and fast service open most ours each day! We have stopped here 4 times since they opened this location and glad I tried the coffee this time. My go to espresso for the south side of the key from now on.

Got there at opening and it was already 10 people in-line. Not sure why buddy inside was working alone, he could've used at least one other person. Ordering is done outside at this one. There is one lone picnic table, so I'm assuming that everything is taken back to house and/or condos. We got the 19 pack and then the 6 pack of apple pie. All of them were good. Check it out!

Powder & cinnamon sugar doughnuts. Iced vanilla coffee

Powder & cinnamon sugar doughnuts were delicious. 10/10! The iced vanilla coffee was alright not that bad. Service was nice and pretty fast!

The donuts themselves were very fresh. They were fried and toppings were added made to order. However, I didn't like how you couldn't mix and match different flavors and could only get 6 of the same one. The donuts themselves were good (I got Boston creme) but I don't feel the need to get them again.

The moment you enter, you are embraced by a cascade of twinkling fairy lights that shimmer like stardust against a twilight sky. Fresh flowers bloom in every corner, their sweet fragrance mingling with the comforting aroma of steeping tea and freshly baked cakes. The menu is a delightful symphony of flavors, with each dish crafted as if by fairy hands. The tea sandwiches are dainty yet satisfying, their ingredients so fresh they seem to have been gathered from a mystical garden just moments before. The salads are vibrant and bursting with life, each leaf and garnish adding to the overall tapestry of flavors. And, of course, the cakes! The cakes are tiny works of art, each bite a burst of sweetness that leaves you floating on clouds of pure bliss. Even the soups, served in charming little teacups, are more than just a meal--they are comfort and warmth, a gentle embrace on a slow afternoon. Each spoonful is like a chapter in a story you never want to end. In this enchanting restaurant, you don't just dine--you dream. Kathryn is the heart and soul of this fairy-tale haven, a living embodiment of the kindness and beauty that fills every corner of her restaurant. Her presence is like a gentle breeze, warm and soothing, making everyone who walks through the door feel instantly at home. Her generosity is evident not just in the thoughtful touches that make each visit special--like the fresh flowers that greet you at every table or the extra care taken to ensure each dish is perfect--but in the way she treats each guest like an old friend. There's a sweetness in her smile that makes you feel as though you've known her for years, and a gentle warmth in her words that wraps around you like a comforting blanket. She moves with a quiet grace, always attentive, yet never intrusive. Whether she's offering a kind word, making sure your tea is just right, or sharing a delightful story, she does so with a lightness that leaves you feeling cherished and cared for. It's clear that this restaurant is more than just a business to her--it's a labor of love, a place where she pours her heart into every detail. In a world that often feels rushed and impersonal, the owner's presence is a reminder of the beauty of kindness and the power of a generous spirit. She has created not just a restaurant, but a sanctuary--a place where time slows down, and you can savor not just the food, but the warmth of human connection. To dine here is to be touched by her sweetness, and to leave with your heart a little fuller, your day a little brighter. Thank you, Kathryn, for creating such a beautiful safe haven for all who enter. As long as this establishment is standing, I will be there in attendance.

We kept sampling and each one we tried was not only excellent, but better than the next, but also perfect in its own way. Thankfully there was the option for a flight, so we got to have four different scoops. We took a pint home, and this was us exercising self control. The staff is amazing, the locale is bright and airy. Absolutely incredible. Come check them out. You will find something you love.

We were helped by someone I believe was named Julie or Julia (I'm not great with names), and we ended up chatting a bit because she used to live in New York too. She was so warm with the kids and let us sample just about every flavor, which made the whole experience feel really personal. The ice cream itself is fantastic--creative flavors, but also genuinely delicious. You can taste the homemade quality in every bite. I had coconut and dark chocolate, the kids had vanilla, dark chocolate, and watermelon mint, and my husband also really enjoyed his choices (though I can't remember exactly what he picked). Overall, it was just a really pleasant stop with great ice cream and exceptional service. It's also right next to Origin Pizza, which is another spot we'd definitely recommend.

Actually, just get there early anyway because the pastry items are fresher/better. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I typically skip trying to park next to it and just go to the garage and walk over. The service is more attentive than a typical French cafe overseas but not as on top of you as a typical place in the US. You can definitely order at the counter in French if you want to and I've had a waiter there flip between English, French, Spanish, and another language (maybe Romanian?) in one order. The sandwiches I've had were all lovely, and had a little side salad that could benefit from a better dressing (they serve an okay vinaigrette though). I've yet to encounter a single bad pastry - the elcairs, mousse cakes, and flaky pastries like chausson pommes are on par with the typical boulangerie/pattisserie in France and don't make me think US adaptation at all. Prices are reasonable.

I got the poularde crepe, wanting something savory. This was solid and tasty. Everyone else got nice little meals as well. I do feel like the portion and the quality is a little lacking for the price. That being said, I don't know that there are better French options in the area. I also got a palmier pastry and I should have gotten a croissant, the palmier tasted a little stale. The locale was adorable, with beautifully tiles tables really setting the scene. Overall, not terrible! Worthwhile if you're really feeling French.
